- In this video series I am going to implement and configure networking with Windows Server 2016. In the forth video from the series I am going to implement and administer IP Address Management (IPAM). IPAM can help providing centralized administration for DC, DNS, DHCP and NPS.
IPAM provisioning script:
Invoke-IpamGpoProvisioning -Domain yourdomain -GpoPrefixName IPAMGPOprefix -IpamServerFqdn ipamservername -DelegatedGpoUser youradmin
-DomainController yourDC
I must tell you that it's the first IT training videos that I really enjoy to watch.
I'm changing my servers this days, and I'm installing server 2016 for the first time and your videos are so helpful for me.

Hello Please help me, Im trying to add my DHCP server using the "add server" option but it prompts an error saying "The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted".
The IPAM server can ping the DHCP server either via IP address or domain name. I also did the gpupdate /force on my DHCP server. Please help. thank you
ipam is so complex, it need to reset unblock which I think nonsense.
Those tick boxes seem to make the server a member of the respective GPO object created via the ipam powershell cmdlet, it then applies various settings to the firewall, if there are intersite delays it can be quite a while before replication has done its thing and the server applies its policy, so i guess it's more GPOs fault than IPAM.
