If I could give this documentary 10 stars, I would. It's been a long time since I've watched any presentation this comprehensive and well-done. I am so impressed with this documentary. OUTSTANDING!
I love it when they go more in depth with the documentary show casing how a part is manufactured and all the process leading up to assembling and vehicle finish
Awesome footage of the assembly line and engine build. but there are some mistakes in the narrator's text. Cylinderhead instead of oil pan @11:53, the valves control the air intake and exhaust not the fuel injection @12:05. And the technician is checking the cylinderdeck clearance to make sure there is enough space between the pistons and the cylinderhead and not with the cylinderwall@11:30 because obviously they come in contact with the wall. turbo is used for more air so more fuel = more powaaah not for enabling an optimal fuel air mixture.
Yes, well when I go out to my "garage" aka the street, I ask myself am I taking the Ford or the Toyota today? (Their combined value is about what a set of wheels and tires cost for the Bentley) 😂😁
@@arnooganesian2093 you should be driving already lol. or at least get your drivers license by the age of 16, so that when you insure a vehicle under your name insurance wouldn’t be so expensive.
I love these documentaries but we only see the assembly part of production. I wish they'd spend some time looking further upstream. Please show some of the design and engineering (mechanical, materials) that goes into the production.
India used to use Rolls Royces as Bin Wagons in the 1920's, because they (Rolls Ŕoyce salesman) insulted the Prince/Sultan etc. He had gone to look at new cars dressed in a cheap fitting suit, and they laughed him.out of the showroom. Next day in full regalia a d convoy of limo's he returned, was treated like a Prince, until he asked if he remembered him from yesterday, now he did. He bought 5 cars to be used to clean garbage off the streets of Delhi, Rolls Royce never lived the shame down. Moral of the story.... Another greedy bastard with too many car 😂
great documentary, really enjoyed the behind-the-scenes look at the Bentley factory! but honestly, I can't help but wonder if the focus on luxury is overshadowing the environmental impact of such high-performance vehicles. it makes for a fascinating watch, but shouldn't we be considering more sustainable options in the future?
12:05 “camshafts regulate the supply of fuel to the engine” ummmm... no 😂. They regulate air/exhaust moving in/out of the cylinders through opening valves
If it isn’t a direct injection engine, then injectors can spray all day, but if the cam doesn’t open the intake valve(s), nothing happens. I would’ve said camshafts control the air/fuel mixture’s entry into the combustion chamber.

Beautifully made, the finest material available. Very well done video. Just curious, for the price, would you choose the Bentley or the Corvette C8 Zora or a Mercedes?
Great video! I really appreciate the insight into the craftsmanship of the Bentley Continental GT. However, I've gotta say, while the luxury and performance are undeniable, I sometimes wonder if the price really justifies what you're getting. Be-PINOCCHIO-entley: A combination of power, speed, and luxury that blows the be-jabbers out of any other sedans and coupes, from any other vehicle company on earth. All of this which comes at a steep price: Usually WELL in excess of 200,000 dollars and ABYSMAL gas mileage. Every time I see the interior of a Bentley in particular -on T.V. at car auctions or otherwise- I am always awed and blown away: Their interiors are so much more luxurious than any other car manufacturer I know of. Very interesting documentary which showcases how "perfectionist" and exacting to the demands of customers Bentley is...
