thank you. im moving houses but am going to miss my old one and I was searching and finally this is the first thing ive found that will let me visit it after I move in vr
@@AndyHDR can you eventually do a youtube video for that? like scanning the room then how to use a paint or modeling game to construct something or even how to paint the wall Would be super
Can i play this game somewhere else? I mean the physical camera that you are placing in the room, is it compulsory to place it in the same room of which i made the VR version?
Solid video, definitely going to save people alot of time. Side note; If you watch it with the sound off you look like your puttin down some intense pickup lines lol. Also please tell me that 5:13 it was even if not on purpose was "referencing or inspired" (not exactly the right words for it but close enough) by Kino Der Toten. If not i degress... this video was of great use to me.
I'm honestly not to versed in unity to give a proper answer, I think it's important to scan you're area right so there's less clean up after. Stay away from reflections as it messes up the LiDAR scan, and if you really wanted to work on the model it self, I'd recommend opening it in Blender first as it's a better software to do so

that is so cool! Make the game multiplayer to have people hang out out your house with you!
this deserves way more views, great tutorial.
I'm glad you think so! Thank you
Really interesting... may even come in handy if I want to rearrange the furniture but want to see how it will look before doing it
That's a good idea, if you were to do that, I'd recommend you scan all your furniture separately for convenience.

I'll look into that and then leave another comment on this message :)
Love the way you used the animated arrows in your tutorial, nice work
Thank you!
My vr is coming on Sunday and I am so happy
Thank you!! Was barking up the same tree you were, this was the key kickstart. Now to make this work in SteamVR..
Glad I could help!
great, simple, tutorial. thANKS SIR
Thank you for this great tutorial! It really worked out! :)
your content is amazing you deserve more subscribers
Awesome! Thanks.
Could you do this with multiple rooms and travel between them using the hand controller?
DUDE this is so sick.
Hey man thank you so much!
Absolute legend! Is that app an iPhone exclusive?
I believe so as the Iphoen has a LiDAR Sensor, I'm not sure about androids
whenever we want to play do we always have to go to the area where we set our camera to center our game ? or just the first time also great tutorial
Great Video! Is there a way to scan in better quality the room? It's bc the Iphone 12 unity o meta quest?, that isn't better?
amazing thank you!
i love this video
Thank you :)
This tutorial is awesome. I have a Samsung phone, but I am going to have to try this if there is (or something like) Poly Cam on Android.
magicplan
Maybe Kiri Engine
You have to do it again soon
🎉

Sticker in Oculus you have amazing from where get it?
Interesting but here /now in December 2023 I would prefer to use Unreal Engine 5.3. Plus my Meta Quest 3. Laurie. NZ. 😊
I did this same thing but I made my self a gorilla from gtag
Are you building it to the headset or do you copy it to the headset?
Now, how can you do this with only your iPhone and a VR headseat it slides into?
I love you
Thank you!
any idea how you could touch up glitchy areas? Can Unity do that?

I will do it
“iPhone 12 pro or higher”
Me: *damn it*
Also, I wonder if using a 360% camera has any benefits like would it improve the quality or reduce the capture time or both?
Has to be lidar
Look up 360 cam for custom environments in quest. I think you can use a 360 and use blender to create a skybox for quest
I have an iPhone 14, but it won’t let me click the LiDAR button or the “room” button on Polycam
Is it only iPhone? My Xiaomi poco f4 GT can do it too right?
Which is thr VR box you used in this video
How do I make it as realistic as possible? I mean hyper-realistic.
Take off your headset i think that should work 🤔
Subscribed, where will you go from here with this project?
I plan on expanding on it, adding some functionality to it, maybe incorporate some actual game machines
@@AndyHDR Sounds great
How difficult would it be to make it so you could move around the virtual space using the analog stick?
Not difficult at all, you can download the mixed reality tool kit and it'll allow you to teleport around your space
does it have to be an iphone ?
I clicked build and named it but I can’t find it in unknown sources
This is the only probably I had. He doesn't actually show if this builds to the headset or if he moved it on to the headset.
@avtpro hey sorry you build it on the headset
Name of the game?
what if i have a vive??!?
1:04 KIRI Engine is free and lets you export in any file type. Plus you get 3 free exports per week on the free plan.
Good to have an iphone 12 pro...
fair warning polycam is not free and its like 7 bucks
its true you can pay for additional features but you don't have to
@@AndyHDR they changed it you cant do it withought paying anymore
Very cool. But ugly. Nice job.
"You will need an iPhone 12 pro or higher"
welp, this was useless
