But I've been interested to check out this new incarnation because of (1) DWJ and (2) your positive reviews. Unfortunately, I can't find the books locally so I'm waiting for the trades. I appreciate this look into the first issue.

If this appeals to you that is awesome I’m glad people are enjoying and reading comics.. that is the most important factor here. I don’t like it I don’t like his artwork.. no hate here just doesn’t work for me.. but it sells and gets people in the store so that’s a total win
I like that Decepticons are acting like they should and actually killing humans. I like that Optimus has Megatron's arm. That's about it though. I don't like the art. I don't like that every single issue is battle after battle after battle. It's like this is written for 5 year olds with ADHD. I don't like that it's yet another reboot. What is this, like reboot number 12, 15? I hate, really really hate, that this is set on Earth again. I want the Cybertronians on Cybertron or in space. So I don't think it's worth the hype.
