I explored all there is to do in Dubrovnik, the shops, sightseeing, activities, where to take cute photos, the famous cable car, cliff side bar, and other things to do!
I'm obsessed with the Game of Thrones (GoT) so I wanted to see the filming location and find out what the town is really like!

Why did they restrict photos in the stores, and what was with the Croatians-Only restaurant rule? I went to Dubrovnik a decade ago and there were no rules back then. Is it because of the Game of Thrones and smartphone culture? LOL
Everywhere I went they made me put my camera away, they were so strict! And the restaurant they only allow Croatians so it doesn't get overrun with tourists. I think because Game of Thrones skyrocketed tourism so much that they weren't used to, they want to keep something for themselves. I can't blame them!
@@ShannonKlein That's what I figured. Btw, I saw your Catalina Island video first as I was just there 3 weeks ago and I was amazed how much social media culture permeates the tourist crowds. I must have been bumped into over a dozen times by people using their selfie-sticks or their smartphone as their "second eyes" instead using their own eyes. Catalina has changed so much since the 80s and 90s when it use to be kinda of a local place with the occasional tourist aspect but now it seems to be the main attraction. It's still nice and quiet though and I recommend new visitors to California to visit it because it's devoid of car congestion and large crowds compared to other tourist destinations around SoCal.

@@ShannonKlein Yes, and they were actually walking around looking through their smartphone lenses instead of using their own eyes. It's gotten quite ridiculous but that's true EVERYWHERE. I stayed at the Holiday Inn up the road and it was nice and very tranquil. My next trip there will definitely be longer as I want to go hiking and visit the other side of the island.
That's actually not true, I am from Dubrovnik and anyone can go to that restaurant.
When did you tape this?
I was there last August, I've been traveling and filming since then and I will be posting all my trips over the next several weeks :)
