Sir, in my humble opinion, you are equal to Michael Anglo in talent. Your work in plastic and paint is the absolute best I’ve ever seen. Thank you for sharing your work and talents with a mere mortal modeler! Best wishes sir.
Unbelievable detail, the 2 of you are true artists. A real pleasure to see this take shape. Your customer should be ecstatic with the way it turned out. Didn't realize this had the folding aircraft carrier wings as well. Is this one going to Top Gun?
Love this. When I was working on a farm in East of England in the early 70S the RAF flew to the ranges a Donna Nook. Growling and smoking. The best looking aircraft ever
Nice work, the model is beautiful. The tailhook seems neither up nor down. The NLG strut wouldn't normally be extended. It did that for catapult launch.
Nice build. Although the FY/serial number on the tail is incorrect. The example you built is an E model. But 63-550 was an F-4C that ended up as a battle damage repair training aircraft at Robbins AFB, Georgia.
Just a small detail problems 1) AC S/N is for a C model and you have a E model 2) Tail Code LA is for Barksdale AFB and it has always been a bomber wing never had assigned F-4's
@@marvinf14 I understand it's a model but when you get the mil specs for the paint used one would expect that a little research into the serial number and Tail Code would be researched. It's a fantastic bird. signed Phantom Phixer
Also, the foldable wingtips, If I'm right, only the Naval variant had those, those are Airforce markings, Not dogging it, Hell, I would dig owning it lol, can't fault the build quality at all.
Fantastic paint job. On the model itself though, is it just me, or does the nose look a little skinny maybe? Maybe the cockpit looks just a little flat? Am I crazy? Something looks a little off with the proportions of the nose and cockpit area? I may be just losing my mind, you never can tell about these things. Once again, not trying to diminish the paintjob at all. It is a masterpiece of scale detail.
Excellent job on such an aviation icon. One of my favorite war birds for sure. On a side note, can anyone tell me what the music for this video was? I've heard it used many times but have never known the name of it.

Does it fly???
I actually loaded munitions on the actual jet out of Luke AFB, Arizona.
Except the real one is a C model.
And I have a picture of the actual jet
WOW, that's all I can say.
There is something wrong with the nose. The F4E and later is my favorite jet.

I am building a 1/24th vac-form Lancaster and it's a dinky toy compared to this😳
