US Release Date: July 6, 2022
    Starring: Katia and Maurice Krafft
    Directed By: Sara Dosa
Synopsis: Fire of Love tells the story of two French lovers, Katia and Maurice Krafft, who died in a volcanic explosion doing the very thing that brought them together: unraveling the mysteries of our planet, while simultaneously capturing the most explosive volcano imagery ever recorded. Along the way, they changed our understanding of the natural world, and saved tens of thousands of lives. Previously unseen hours of pristine 16-millimeter film and thousands of photographs reveal the birth of modern volcanology through an unlikely lens -- the love of its two pioneers.

I met them a couple of times at conferences. Very dedicated, sweet and eccentric couple passionate about volcanoes. Maurice said to me once, “I want to die filming a volacano! It would be so great!” He did get his wish.

Tomorrow will be their last day...must be the teaser for the film. The question until we see it is did they die by their passion for volcanos? I'm gonna Google the couple's back story.

I can understand your skepticism. The presenter's voice work is a bit overly dramatic to me and seems to be emphasizing a romance without focus on their work. Will do more research on it myself. My interest is piqued.
