Even if you believed these people needed to be arrested which is obviously not the case, the unconstitutional flaws in these arrests would mean any half-decent lawyer would have any charges thrown out. @Dennis Young That is a foregone conclusion. I don't know if you watched social media on the night before the last election, but there were already threats of civil disobedience if Trump lost. In the long run, it might be the best thing to happen. Draw out the enemy, apply overpowering force and crush these knuckle draggers once and for all. Have them assemble around a civil war statue and then fire a missile at it. Two birds with one stone. I sound like an extremist, but honestly, is there anyone who thinks you are bringing these people back into the fold of a functional society?
Not the last line, people just need to stand up and do what needs to be done. The enemies entire plan hinges on nobody stepping up.
@Dennis Young Yeah, I grew up around people like that too, and I still have to deal with them. There are a lot of good people out there, but apparently there are a lot of bad ones too. Some of the old sayings my grandparents used to kick around about people being their own worst enemy and not being able to fix stupid really ring true in a way I'm sure only people who lived through the Spanish Flu, the Great Depression and WW2 could appreciate.
I'm in Canada and we have lots of programs to help, but you still see the usual types complaining about every little thing.
