Just a thought, Trump wants the economy to reopen, and he wants to ensure the stock market stays in positive numbers, however just mentioning military action will send shockwaves through foreign investors prompting sell offs, and actually doing it would create a full-blown exodus of foreign investments, once again shooting himself in the foot.

The cop who struck that camera man and made him stop filming, needs to be in prison for assault and for violation of the 1st amendment, disturbing the peace and many more crimes. None of it was necessary, justified or legal, let alone for a photo op, by the individual who just proclaimed himself an ally to all peaceful protestors. Watching all this horror from the UK and hearing the uproar about the looting etc, it seems to me, the law in the US has no respect for its citizens and therefore it's citizens are displaying a lack of respect in return, what goes around comes around. Even the metropolitan police in London has voiced support for the protests and dismay at the actions of their compatriots in US.

Australian here. I've seen about 10 cop cars and 30 police in just the last week. I think my neighbours across the road are criminals.
I have seen a single police car in a week in Croatia. (If you don't count the timed I have passed in front of the police station)
