    We need to take guns away from your regular patrol officer. Let them put them in a vehicle locked up and only taken out when absolutely needed. Basically only when they are responding to a call where a gun was reported.

    • @toshironikko

      That wouldnt help - they wouldve claimed there was a gun reported to be there already

    • @levishackelton4437
      @levishackelton4437 4 роки тому

      So if that were true, it should match the report of the dispatcher, and if it doesn’t then they should be punished. If they don’t get the OK from dispatch, then again they were not permitted to use the gun and should be punished. And most likely dispatch is going to be a recorded conversation with the person reporting the gun.

      I am pro Second Amendment, but I am also pro regulation. So there is absolutely no way to get all guns out of the hands of criminals. Thus in my opinion, cops should always have access to firearms. That doesn’t mean that this is the old west and they should be carrying them the entire time they are on shift, for the reason that they have other means of defending themselves.

    The fact that she was a fellow first responder makes this even more heartbreaking. It's very likely she knew the guys that shot her because she literally worked side by side with the police every single day. And let's not forget that the police had the WRONG ADDRESS. A close friend of my mother's lost her mentally challenged son earlier this year when police came to her house with a warrant and he ran into a room where his brother's bedroom and his brother kept a gun there. He was in no way going for the gun, he was just trying to get away from what he perceived as a bad/dangerous situation. Long story short, they shot and killed him in his own home in front of his mother and guess what?! They had the WRONG ADDRESS!!! This has got to STOP and at this point I really don't care how.

      Drunken Mongoose are you kidding me? Perhaps not the Klan but white supremacy is still very prevalent in the US, do you not remember white supremacists marching in Charlottesville yelling you will not replace us?

    • @everetthamby5005
      @everetthamby5005 4 роки тому

      Mauris uhh are you saying black lives matter isn’t legitimate? First off, they’re permitted to protest, and they also have the right to assemble under the first amendment of the Constitution. If they didn’t they’d have not have been allowed to march for weeks after the initial riots. So it doesn’t matter if you think it’s a illegitimate and dangerous, if you want to be authoritarian you can live in China where people are spied on 24/7. But we have the first amendment to voice our rightful frustrations with the government. At the same time, the Klan itself may not be around anymore, but entirely different movements have occurred like what happened in Charlottesville with white nationalists chanting you will not replace us through the streets. So don’t act like that behavior is just gone because the Klan is gone, that’d be ridiculous and just false.

    • @everetthamby5005
      @everetthamby5005 4 роки тому

      Mauris they’re actually mostly peaceful and civil. They’re permitted to protest. Why wouldn’t they be permitted if it was peaceful? Some cities have more chaos than others, but it’s been peaceful for weeks now, and they haven’t been blocked from any kind of assembly. How is it that constitutionalists with high powered rifles can storm government buildings over a lockdown mandate? They somehow are allowed to do so without police in riot gear, and they’re allowed to scream in the faces of standard uniform policemen without military vehicles to voice their frustrations. That seems much more of a threat and much more dangerous than peaceful protests who’s participants come from all kinds of backgrounds, not just blacks, and who want to demand decent police reform.

    • @everetthamby5005
      @everetthamby5005 4 роки тому

      Mauris and also, comparing BLM to the Klan is just crazy. The Klan lynched and tortured blacks in public well into the 60’s, and you wanna compare mostly peaceful protests to that? Do you realize how insane that sounds? The Klan was a murderous hate group, BLM is not a hate group and doesn’t use the tactics of the Klan, they push for policy, not segregation and race division.

    • @everetthamby5005
      @everetthamby5005 4 роки тому +2

      Mauris because of the actions of a few huh? So because Derrick Chauvin murdered a civilian, you wouldn’t think it’s fair to label all cops as “bad” or “racist”. Well how do you think peaceful BLM protesters who actually care for systemic black persecution feel when people like yourself characterize the movement they support and march for as violent and dangerous? So because a select few decided to burn down buildings and use the protests as an excuse to commit crimes, you think it’s fair to characterize the weeks of peaceful demonstrations as “violent”? Do you see your own hypocrisy? Do you realize that you’re doing the same thing that clearly upsets you with regards to BLM? That’s what I don’t get about partisan hacks, they don’t have the ability to see their double standards. I’m not a dem or republican, but I can be objective and say, yea I think ACAB is not a good way to negotiate what you want, and I definitely do not agree with the abolition of law enforcement. But I can also see that blacks are disproportionately persecuted in the US, and I can see that the police could fix some things. You shouldn’t think of everything BLM does as bad. One of their main points is defunding, not abolishing police and redirecting that money towards mental health professionals who can help police deal with mentally disturbed and homeless people, which would lift some of the difficult work officers experience off of their shoulders. Police can only do so much, but they also could use better training to help them use other, less lethal methods of deescalation. They’re just too entitled to their ways. Cops are allowed to quit, which is why I’ve never understood blue lives matter. It’s not a blue life, it’s a job that if you don’t like because of the danger, you can quit! But I don’t know where they got this idea that they can pull out their pistol and murder someone because they feel threatened.

So you dont have the right to harm other people around you, and if you do you deserve to be arrested and tried. Now if you resist arrest, the cop has the absolute right to make a decision to possibly pull that trigger if it gets out of hand. That criminal can harm the cop, or other innocent people. Peaceful arrest is always the first option, but when that goes wrong then what? We just let them go?

    One time back in 2004 I came to my studio and found that my tools and machinery were stolen, when the cops came i told them that I had caught them I would take a crowbar and break their legs. The cop told me if you do that you could be sued and become the victim it is better to just kill them.
    Another time I heard someone stealing some scrap aluminum from out back of the studio, I called the police and when i got back there after the cops arrived they had a poor skinny junky on the ground (they were not beating him) while one of the cops was smashing his rusty bicycle that didn't even have rubber on the tires. I told them to please let him go. they wouldn't do it but took him away supposedly to get him some help. I have cried for that man many nights even now as I write this. This guy had nothing, not even 3 dollars to buy a tire. Yes he was a junky but he was a human being. I hope they got him help.
    Years earlier in my first studio, I always worked nights and went to bed at 7 am, there were street people that would come in and ask if they could sit and keep me company while I worked (never was anything stolen from me in those days), there was one girl in her mid twenties that was hooking would come in scared many nights to sit out the night. One night she came in and told me she had been picked up by these cops and they told her they would let her go if she gave them all a B job.
    Those wonderful, sitting at the doughnut counter, with their fat shiny blue asses hanging over the stole cops and the example they lead.

There were two kids hurt when a DUI hit them. Not the cops fault, but after they came, the y didn't help anyone. Those kids died on the side of the road, after their legs were cut off.

    When I go to the race track, for a track day, or a race on my motorcycle they have an ambulance on standby. The riders are told, do your best not to use their services, but in case something goes wrong, they are there.
    I imagine that a police raid is going to involve guns, and that the chances of someone getting hurt, police or civilian is much higher than a motorcyclist getting hurt on a race track. If they can organise a warrant, why cant they organise an ambulance or special police paramedic to come along during a raid. It would help the police and the suspects in the event of a catastrophe. Not to mention what it would do for public trust in the police as an organisation.
    I mean according to all the action movies I watched as a kid, the police are supposed to be the good guys, who believe in justice and having a fair trail in a court of law.
