It's not too hard to put together. If you are curious about parts and such definitely jump into my discord chat as I am sure several people would love to put together a list of things to fit the budget and needs.

I agree on the motherboard front panel , I'm shocked this was not standardized 30 years ago !
Still drives me nuts. I think some have tried but nothing came out of it.
Thank you so much I’m getting ready to put together my first nas
Nice! I have some other stuff coming of the setup and going through the config and stuff coming.
Same boat trying to decide if i really need to or not as well.
Excited for the next video. Loved the build. Simple but effective
Putting together a few things of the swap now.
I hit like in the first 5 secs! Thanks travis

You may know this, but that 120mm fan in the front is backwards. It will be pulling air out of the case.
Hmm.. I followed the arrow on it but it has been swapped to a 140mm since the recording.
Ha.. I found the fan. Sure enough. Good catch. Luckily the new one is the right way, looks like I caught it.
Yep, by convention fans blow on the direction of their sticker/label on the fan hub.
Good job guys. Thanks for sharing.
One of us! One of us!
It's a killer setup!
@@digiblurDIY I bet. I'm looking at something similar after we build our house and upgrade my current unRaid box.
Oh the good old days! I haven't bent the pins on a CPU in years. 😂
Those were so sketch to push in.. Then of so scary to fix the bent pins.
Unraid! 🎉❤
Indeed! Makes it easy and simple.
Great video. Have you a link for the coral board and PCi adapter, and any comments on whether it works!

Great
Please Make something in budget
All depends on the budget which gets expensive quickly with 12 hard drives.
it seems that unraid is rumored to change their business model to subscription based for the software updates.
I heard that...definitely sucks to hear but I kind of get it if revenue isn't paying the bills of new customers.
Best thing about building a PC is these high quality parts should last many many years. If something fails, you know how to swap it out.
Yup! No mystery parts and cuts out a bit of the fear of swapping stuff
