There is a remake of MM1 called Megaman Powered Up for the PSP, where Roll is actually playable. Aside from that, an Genesis exclusive called The Wily Wars combines the weapon pools of MM1 to MM3 into a mix and match system.
How has this channel not even broken a thousand subscribers? The editing and script writing here suggest a channel that should have tens of thousands by now. Keep doing what you're doing; as a huge Mega Man fan myself, I found this to be a great analysis of the first game in the classic series. Rock on!
Hey, greetings from Brazil! I never got to play Mega Man when it originally came out, but I did play Mega Man X on the SNES, and I never beat it on console! My dad must've rented it a dozen times, but heck, Capcom wouldn't give me a break with their games, and that's why I love'em! Keep the quality content coming, you're doing great!
The end Boss Rush without extra health is completely unfair. When I reach Wily, I am low on health/ ammo so I usually let him kill me so I come back at full health.
Love the video! It's always great to see the younger generation discover Mega Mn. The first 3 games can be pretty janky (MM1 the most) but the next 2 are NES Classics. My favorite is 4 tho.
7:55 - I like how he called Fire Man "Heat Man." We're not on Mega Man 2 yet. lol I think Mega Man Powered Up is the ideal version of the 1st Mega Man game for beginners to start from.
MM1 is a weird one The Magnet Beam probably threw some people for a frustrating loop when they get to the end of Wily stage 1 and suddenly can't progress. Also I guess now you gotta call Heat Man "Fire Man" in the Mega Man 2 vid
Fire Man is horribly balanced. The freeze beam can freeze the flames 🔥 and can help, but you really need magnet beam to avoid most of the poorly designed traps.
Unlimited Continues basically gives them an excuse to hit you with poor game design. Frustration will cause you to put the game down and not pick it up again.
Looks like I accidently said "Heat Man" instead of "Fire Man" at around 7:55. That's my bad guys, I was just thinking about Mega Man 2 😆
no problemo i think about MM2 a lot too :)

It’s a new channel.
I think he will get there.
Worse that bad enemy placement is the SURPRISE ENEMY PLACEMENT.
whenever you see a pit in a mega man game you gotta juke it to check if a robot is gonna pop out to mess up your jump!
your video was recommended to me between a full page of thumbnails of scott the woz videos. nice content!!
We need more videos like this, that was a good video right there, i miss the original megaman.
this is some good quality content
you're going far!

Big fan of Mega Man content. Very well spoken thoughts on this title. It is brutal, but gave us one of the best game series ever.
