Whilst accepting the shells were too far gone, there were still some bits that could've been used to keep other identical ones to these for further use.
@@owenkelsey6279 Indeed! With the first car crushed (the Catalina) those doors still looked good. They could have easily removed those for another Catalina that year, which while still structurally good may have needed new doors. A missed chance.
@@owenkelsey6279 Some junk yards today will put these classics online for either parts cars of to restore. Sad they just crush them. I seen cars in this shape sell for big money on marketplace.
The 67 Pontiac Catalina was nice went it was new the 65 chrysler new port was nice too sad it got crushed even it have rust hate to see it crushed take lot money's to restore it ill would do it like old cars better then new cars
Second car made me think of a flying car. Another amazing video! Still love the sound of the crushing and watching cars get crushed and seeing random objects become flatter than a pancake
Good to see you again; I was starting to wonder. The period from (roughly) 1964-1978 saw the manufacture of some of the longest American cars of all time, and maybe it was the camera angle, but that Catalina and the Newport looked like they barely fit in there.
@@brentboswell1294 I have owned a lot of the longest, but most of them were junkyard cars I bought for demo derby. But one that I did drive for a couple years was a '76 Buick Electra - 3rd-longest American car - and a '72 Sedan DeVille. That was back when a poor man could still afford gasoline, though.
Can’t believe I’m the only one to notice so far that the Satellite crushed was not a Road Runner. You can see the 8 1/4” rear. I hate that it got wasted all the same, though.
I love reading the comments from the people who think these rotted out pieces of junk should be saved. I love classic cars, but some are just too far gone to be saved.
1st car: 1967 Full Sized Pontiac (not a 68 because no side marker lights and different rear bumper) 2nd car: 1965 Chryslers (Newport (probably) or 300) (not a New Yorker, they had a different roof) 3rd car: 1970-73 AMC Matador or Ambassador 4th Car: 1969 Mid sized Plymouth 5th Car: 4th gen (88-91) Honda Civic
I don't recall seeing a flap on the trunk lid of any 1967 Pontiac, ever...could someone have cut out the arrowhead on the trunk lid? And the nameplates on the Pontiac and the Chrysler are missing, too--is someone collecting old car nameplates? (Looks like the rust coyote caught up with that Road Runner...) Worth the wait for this one

I watched your channel way back when you bought the Corvan. I'm wondering how that turned out? Was it more work than you anticipated? or did you get it running? It's sad to see all these old cars crushed!
I thought the same thing. That glass is nearly impossible to get. These were all pretty far gone, it looks like there were a lot of parts that could've been sold to keep others on the road. Besides, there's no recycling value in shattered glass.

It’s such a waste, these guys are leaving so much money on the table. It hurts to watch.

My grandpa had an Ambassador... we were an AMC family, down in Texas. My other grandpa swore by Nash and drove a Rambler 😂
Looked like a 1970-73 example. Fenders still looked OK. Should have removed those before crushing it.
If those old classics could talk...the stories they'd tell.
Yes... and the saddest part of their stories, how they were left behind to face their fate….
To be honest I don't care about the stories I feel bad for those classic cars
Ouch, poor Roadrunner. It looked pretty far gone, but still. Hard to watch classics getting crushed.
7:00 I hear ya pal....all she needed was a bit of love....touch up paint here and there... maybe some new tires.....😂
The rear end alone could've been salvaged; apparently they're almost a direct swap into a 1976-89 F-M-J body
Pretty sure that was a Satellite. Had an 8 1/4” rear which Road Runners of that year never had.
Destroying classic cars should be bannned. We need to save them
Another great car crushing video!

It's hilarious that a little 90's Civic got crushed on top of all those old lead sleds.
Thank you , more crushing please
Man I hate seeing old cars getting crashed but i understand it's to far gone.😢
Good parts wasted
Great crushing video, I wish you would post more.
Like Fred Sanford would say, they are going to that big junk yard in the sky, R.I P. old cars.
3:13 Wow! That trunk has more room than my entire Mazda 2😂😂
*Right? That rear quarter panel is like 15 feet long.* 😁

I noticed that also lol
The King of Long was the 1977 Cadillac El Dorado...and the Continental Mark V wasn't too far off from that 😅

ya all of those would be great parts cars
Wow I remember that one when I was 10 years old 🗝️ 1978
Looks like the RR was picked over clean 😊
I just got an alert that you posted a video. So happy. You have great quality crushing videos 👍👍😍. Great videos 👍👍
My first car was a ‘68 Satellite 318. I mistreated that car.

This is a lot like Paleontology, with some ancient fossil records of beasts that once roamed the earth.
Classic bundle with a touch of Japanese car
Noooo! don't do it. Sell the glass and other salvageable parts
Them old cars aren't getting easy to find parts for.
That's my problem. Irreplaceable door glass, stainless trim. It's a shame but now it's in the past.

7:18-7:20 futon bed frame on top of the hood of the roadrunner

I was wondering what that 2nd car was as the rear had some serious flat sides and a huge trunk.
Heck ya
So what's the mystery stuff being crushed on top of the Catalina? Looks like the percussion section in my high school band with an axle for towing 😂
This percussion section now sounds a bit flat!
@@DarrenMartin-x9v cue a high hat cymbal hit and a bass drum tap 😂

Funny how someone cut the model script out, sheet metal and all.
If that was a real road runner, I would’ve saved the rearend and springs

Best car crushing videos on UA-cam!
This video shows up in my feed after watching Wheres Jimmy Hoffa video, weird

This one hurts. I have a friend that needed that back window in the Chrysler. And why not sell the 8¾ out of the Satellite/Road Runner?
Yep. Big waste of usable stuff that could be put online for sale.

What a waste of good cars still a lot of good parts. Some people don't mind crushing stuff like that all for money.
Gezzus B body 8 3/4 rear
OUCH !! *sigh* that road runner the body looked rather straight!
I nearly spat out my drink when it got to that part.
Better off recycled
4:34-6:03 was though tovwatch but it was too far gone
Please keep'em coming friend!! Thank you..
Where is this yard? I've watched several videos of parts i could use, getting crushed!
Somewhere in Wisconsin apparently
Was the first car a Bonneville or Catalina ?
Catalina
What make was the 2nd car?
1965 chrysler
1965 Chrysler Newport.
