macroPath TAGUS | The Breath Of A River FULL ALBUM Drone Ambient LoFi

‘’Tagus’’, my 3rd work as macroPath, is a combination of drone ideas and lofi field recordings which I collected and put together between the years 2020 and 2023, especially during the pandemic time.
This album was inspired by a trip to Portugal in 2019, where I collected the majority of field recordings and some lost tapes found at flea markets. ‘’Tagus’’ is the name of the longest river of the Iberian peninsula which ends his course exactly under the ‘’25 de Abril’’ bridge in Lisbon that you see in the album cover.
‘’Tagus’’ is a work dedicated mainly to Tahoism, to water and life, and to the importance of letting the life flow like water. ‘’Tagus’’ is a soundtrack to the movement of our lives in loop like the water through a river, with his moments of clarity, emptiness, calm and fluentness, interrupted by some turbulence and instability, but without breaking his continuity. Sometimes in our life we decide not to follow this flow, and here it comes the bridge, to avoid the river and his fluentness, to pass to the other side where everything can be unknown and full of obstacles, but we anyway decide to cross it, unaware of the destiny we are going through.
