This is ''OverGod'', my first little work I released in 2014 which I always describe as ''A Soundtrack for an Imagined Sci-Fi Movie''. It is the result of some years of my life which I dedicated to the discovery of the universe, the interest in the possible existence of extraterrestrial life, and a strong passion for science fiction movies and series. All this dedication was also a consequence of a big change occurred in 2007 when my young heart got broken and I started to realise many things about life. A weird need of disappearing began to grow in me, so I thought a good option was to make some music that could bring me somewhere else for a while, somewhere far, in the darkness of outer space.
I used to be religious as a kid, and to believe in God, but after my delusions I started to look up, to extend my vision to the stars, and to think that maybe this God everyone talk about could be a real entity coming from another planet. That's why I thought there must be something bigger than God, something beyond God, an OverGod.
This little big thought changed my entire vision of life and I started to see things in a different way. Nature, human beings, animals, everything was appearing in front of my eyes as something magical, as part of a majestic system called Universe.
OverGod is a trip, from the beginning to the end, to the outer space trying to chase a truth, trying to get an answer, to find myself, but at the same time to disappear and escape for a while from my emptiness to find some relief in the emptiness of the infinite universe. OverGod is a trip to escape and then return back to the Earth to appreciate things in a better way.
This work sounds really different from my most recent works. It's more electronic and cinematic than just ambient, but it also includes some drone tracks. It was a nice experiment I'm really proud of considering my low skills and the bad mastering I've done at the time. I'm always dreaming to play this album with an orchestra behind me, but that would remain just in my imagination I guess.

It is! Just listening to it! Second time now (first time on bandcamp). Seriously I cant imagine how did you put it altogether. As you are saying, yes, it is very different to your recent stuff, but on the other hand sound so proper like (skill-wise and album-wise).
