Yay pickup video!!! I picked up some stuff myself this past week,I got Kao The Kangaroo,Mon Yu and I found a new sealed copy of Valkyrie Profile Covenant of The Plume for my 3DS which I have been wanting for a long time,so happy to have that.
17:00 yeeees!!!! It's awesome!!! Dude I bought that game on the deck and love it inmediatly and then saw it on sale for thw ps4 with chorus and take those as fast as I could. To be honest, is not perfect but as you said brings back the feeling of that franchise (for me aliens was epic and that machine gun sound is addictive). Best for last huh, okey
I love your pick-up videos and I always watch them with pen and paper in hand. Man you got those Rockman games awesome. Thanks for sharing your acquisitions and letting us know what to get Reggie!👉🙂👈
I Reggie, i love your content and personality, and i love a pick up video as much as the next guy. That being said, please shake things up from time to time.
You mention how you wish AK-XOLOTL was a co-op game. Well since it a twin stick shooter. Can't you split the joy cons and have one person control the character while the other person is the gunner. My older brother and I did that with Smash TV on the Genesis back in the day.
Great games! There is in fact a AK-XOLOTL version for the PS4. I actually got it yesterday. Went to a video game store here in Spain and they had it both for PS5 and PS4. Picked up the PS4 version.
Dude nice pickups !!!! I got some games recently too. --- --- Xbox Series: - WWE 2k24. Dragonball Z Kakarot. I Saw Black Clouds----recommend anything by this dev (Wales Interactive). Easy Red 2. Battlefield V Definitive Edition. Final Fantasy XIII. Romancing Saga 2. Final Fantasy VIII Remaster. Brotato. The Wanderer Frankenstein's Creature. SAO Fatal Bullet Complete Edition. Fight Night Champion. --- --- PS5: - Elden Ring. Summoner. Infamous First Light----recommend. Eternal Ring----From Soft's other ring game, much older.
Bruh!!!!! What about all the macross games for ps3 we didn't have in America? Do you hate fun? Hahahahah sorry it's on my "golden list". I'm always looking at uour pick ups with Jason , thanks buddy! keep at it, man
Wargroove is an excellent game, and while it's "similar" to Advance Wars, I know some people who write it off as an Advance Wars clone and won't even give it a chance(hardcore fans of the Advance Wars series.) Wargroove was definitely inspired by Advance Wars but I feel like how each unit may be more powerful and weaker in some way than every other unit is an aspect that makes this its own game and in some ways better than how Advance Wars does it. In Advance Wars, recon unit is just for recon and a pretty trash unit that's only comparable to the infantry in terms of damage, the tank, md tank, and mega tank are just clear progression, there's no reason to make a tank over a mega tank for example. Wargroove however does it differently. The units are better or worse depending on the unit their attacking and defending against, and each unit has a unique critical hit method. The soldiers are the weakest of the bunch, but they're still effective, they're not like the useless infantry if they need to actually get into combat. The spearmen have extremely low movement but are generally good at attacking any other unit and paired with something like the wagon(APC) can set up for critical hits with other spearmen. The knights are the furthest moving ground unit and has high damage against everything but the spearmen, they also cost three times as much as the spearmen. The soliers only cost half the amount of the spearmen and are also weak against them but not comparable to the knights, the fact that they can move further gives them turn advantage against the spearmen so multiple soldiers can overcome spearmen. You've got your alchemists who are the glass cannons of the group, but for 300gp they can heal up to five units and depending on how expensive your units are that they're healing that alone is worth having them. However, the alchemists deal massive damage to flying enemies so they're a counter to those and they also deal critical hits with increased defense(so best when fighting on mountains or with one of the main characters specials.) Then there's the catapult, high ground damage, the ballista which attacks one range further, and made for air damage but great to also deal some chip damage against ground units as almost nothing can really move past its range of fire. The most powerful ground unit is the golem and this is basically your mega tank, this one's really expensive but it's also really worth it as well. Catapults though just wreck this thing, while the Advance War cannon and missiles are only deal some okay damage against a mega tank. Then just like Advance Wars you have dragons(the bomber,) witch(jet,) and then another one that's like the helicopter but unlike Advance Wars it can't be attacked by any ground unit but the alchemist. There's also different water based ones as well. The campaign on the first game is pretty substantial in length and then there's a short arcade campaign for each character with three varying difficulties. One thing I notice you mention a lot is how games don't have co op. The first game has a co op add on that's free(which I'm assuming would be included patched in on the double pack) as well as cross play between all consoles. So not only the co op campaign, but has offline and online co op maps as well. Like Advance Wars every character has a super power. The character gets the super power, called a groove, by dealing damage and defeating enemies. Your commander character is your most powerful character. While you obviously don't want them to die, you'll lose the match, you don't want to not use them as they're easily your most valuable ally. Mercia recovers characters in a I think three by three radius 5HP(50% full health.) Mercia's advisor can set a crystal maximizing everyone in the areas defense as if they were standing on a mountain(perfect for guaranteeing criticals with alchemists and creating choke points. Greenfinger will allow you to grow a root in five different points. This can be used defensively to cut enemies off, though it can also be used offensively to cut enemies off from other units(or trap a commander.) Another character has an ability that she can summon a unit right next to her but it costs twice the amount of gold as normal. Another character can teleport any unit to any location(I haven't used this one yet, not sure if it's only for enemies or allies, but sounds overpowered either way, and I'm assuming is not usable on commanders.) Another can dash straight through a line of units, dealing high damage and ending on the other side(this one is very situational, and I kind of thing is the worst one.) The dog can inspire the surrounding units so can allow up to four allies to take a second turn. Another character can jump a specific range and deal an AoE effect where she lands, usable both offensively and defensively. Another character called Sedge may seem like he has the worst groove and if you don't use it properly it is, as it only deals three damage and it's extremely slow to charge up, but it deals 30% damage on ANYTHING, and every single time he kills anything with it he gets keeps the ability and he gets another turn. It's situational but this can be one of the most powerful ones. Another character can drain the life of an enemy and regain the % in life stolen to recover HP, kill basically anything and regain full HP.
I used to have a Super Famicom converter and a some games. Like 2 Super Robot Wars, Street Fighter II Turbo, one of the Ultimate Fighters(I think). Have you heard of Super Robot Wars? It's a RPG but with famous giant Japanese robots like Mazinger-Z, Getta Robot, Brave Raydeen, etc.🤔
Yacht club games need to stop playin' & give us a physical of Cyber Shadow, Watch it get listed on FisrtPressGames 🤣 No but real talk if you haven't played it the game is a Ninja Gaiden version of Shovel Knight, even better than The Messenger!

When are you going to have to add a new room on to your house to contain all these new pickups?
I’m keeping it manageable, but that’s a possibility.
