Saw this gorgeous card this morning and I was WOWED! Now I'm glad to watch the video to see how you did it! Thank goodness for Misti! I have my door on the left and I am Right handed! Hugs!💜🤗
This is like using those turnabout stencils...great tutorial so we don't need to buy even more new products. Thankyou for a great informative tutorial and brilliant card. Xxx
Oh wow! I just love this card. I laugh and have so much fun listening to you even when you’re philosophical lol. You take card making to another level, please don’t ever give up.
FANTABULOUS card and technique Laura!!! The rainbowy colors are gorgeous as always and I’m loving the non-traditional card size. Like you, I have my MISTI door open to the left and actually purchased a teal set of replacement measurement stickers so that the numbers weren’t upside down. Upside down numbers were driving me nuts so was oh so happy when Iliana came up with those. Thanks for sharing another gorgeous card and for giving us additional ideas on how to get more out of our tools. Have an awesome week. ~HUGS~ #kindnessmatters
Loved the vibrancy of you & your design Laura! Enjoyed the deep philosophy as well... hmm 🤔 perhaps because this also reminds me of a mandela design! 💕💖👍🏽
This card is gorgeous (as everything you make!) and I really loved watching it come together. You are so clever and creative! I have a Stamp press and open it either to the left, like you, or to the top. It really just depends where the free work space is. 😊
Beautiful! Love the layering and gradient look. I have my Misti positioned like you do. I did notice people using the other way. I have to try and see if that makes life easier. Gayatri xx
Love this card. You could also cut out a large hexagon or a polygon and mount you card base on it and rotate the panel one side at a time, and you don't have to move your stamp.
Stunning Card .. !! What a great tutorial ! ( ps.. I open my stamp platform in a way that doesn't hit the other things on my little work space.. so.. depending what else I have going on I adjust the stamp platform orientation to fit.. )
Awesome card! Maybe a bit late, but I will still reply to your Misti question 🙈 I've always used my Misti with the hinge on the left. Just like a book! It is so much more natural that way. However, the Misti must be designed to use the other way around, because of the way the numbers are put on the edges. However I use the metric system, so I don't even (can) use those measurements. So hinges in the left is the way to go for me! 😉 Oh and, I am right handed 🖐🏼
I simply LOVE this card! I'm going to have to try this out! I have my stamp positioned the same way you do...with the door opening to the left...my reason...I have to much stuff to my right...ha ha ha. I'm sure if I had a clean area I would do it either way, but that's just the way my area is set up. (I'm a righty fyi)
That is really really pretty. So love the colors that are in this. I have a different stamp positioner tool, but I usually open my door to the right because I'm right-handed so I just grabbed the ink pad and I think it right there instead of Reaching Across My Body. I talk instead of type so I don't know why it capitalized all that LOL.
Beautifully symmetrical! Did I spell that correctly? Anyway......I recently purchased the wreath builder stamp set and stencil from Gina K and it is the BOMB! Now, I've got to order some square envelopes......Ha! Card making does NOT save money!
This is beautiful, Laura! I have my MISTI door open to the left too but I think most people have it to the right. Supposedly we use it the left handed way!
Michelle Short I'm also right handed but open mine to the left too. Like the lady also said it feels natural doubt but that way as it's how we open books.👌
This is absolutely amazing, Laura! Love the gorgeous colours you used, and the pattern turned out really lovely! I have my hinges on the right side, somehow works best for me... I’m right handed :-)
What a great card. (I use my MISTI door both to the left and the right and just to mix it up a little, sometimes I use it with the door at the top! LOL WHY???? I just DO! ???)
Beautiful card.so worth all the stamping. Thanks Laura for sharing all your wonderful ideas.
Oh my! That card is fabulous. My Scandinavian roots are singing with joy at that design.

Cute, cute, cute card!
This is gorgeous! I use my Misti just like you, but I’m left handed. It works best for me to ink my stamps with my left hand.

When I get to be a good, creative stamper, I want to be Laura Bassen. I almost always have my Misti door at the top.
Thomas Edison is the fella, not Albert Einstein:) Love, love, love the card!!
