How are we all so ironically in the so called 5th percentile. Especially when we’re all healthy mamas?. I just don’t believe everything these doctors are telling us. I figure my baby will come when she’s ready and she’ll make weight by the time it’s her due date…
I wonder if you're local to me; I go to Duke as well. I'm so confused and frustrated right now. I'm almost 33 weeks. My baby girl has been breech for months. I'm overweight and she's a sickle cell baby. She has been measuring small for weeks so I go in weekly as well for stress tests and dopplers. They don't want me to do an "elective c-section." They started the discussion on induction and flat out told me I won't make it to 39 weeks. I fear my small baby won't respond well to an induction. They also told me induction makes it more likely that I'll have an emergency c-section. I'm afraid of the risks of induction and they would have to manually turn her for it. I'm just trying to do my research. I advocated for myself, so I will be talking to the attending physician about everything in 2 weeks. I've survived 2 heart surgeries; I'm not scared of a c-section recovery process. Thanks for this video.
Im 32 weeks and dr. said baby is not growing appropriately. So they told me to take steroids starting next week and might deliver on my 35th weeks. My baby’s well being or BPP is all

My son has IUGR asymmetrical I’m currently 33 weeks but his stomach is measuring 30 weeks . (5 percentile range ) I go to a high risk doctor next week ... if i have to get induced does that mean C section ? Or vaginally ? 😭 I’m so nervous !
My induction meant vaginal. But every delivery is different. Don’t be nervous, you are about to fall into the greatest love of your life in just a few more weeks. I’m speaking of experience, my son is 10 months now and I would go through it all again

I have IUGR and I’m in the hospital for it and I’m 26 weeks. How are these mamas still at home with this condition?
I’m sure it depends on each situation and the severity of yours...sometimes comparison doesn’t work when we all have different doctors, health history, etc
