Nice! That looks to be from a reunion concert. How different that the camera stays on Copeland without ever turning to Sting, except for a few seconds where Sting is pictured positioned between the percussion instruments standing twenty feet away and facing the audience. The guitar lick was nice. Was Andy Summers there too? Most drummers are fit, but, as with many things human, there are exceptions. I saw The Police on the tour in support of the album this song is from, but it was so long ago that I don't recall how Stewart Copeland played it back then.
As a drummer, you are correct, we are all physically and mentally superior to other musicians and always get the ladies most of the time haha! In all seriousness though, the drummer needs to be on point for a band to be good. If the drummer is off, the band is off. Copeland is one of the best, his creativity is unmatched.
I've got a few songs for you, MUCH better songs !! ... 1) Genesis - home by the sea ... 2) Genesis - second home by the sea .... the second song is actually an extended part of the first song !! .... most radio stations only play the first half ... you NEED to hear the second half to get the whole story !!
