Wheelchair to 5K: The Frank Amprim Story (Part 2)

Frank Amprim was paralyzed in an ATV accident in 2011. Frank, who enjoyed doing Krav Maga (martial arts) and running prior to his accident, was told by doctors that he would never run again and would have difficulty walking. Frank knew if he was ever going to get better he needed to go to The Center for Spinal Cord Injury Recovery (CSCIR) at DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan. The CSCIR is a non-traditional, high-intensity, activity-based rehabilitation program that focuses on recovery. Today, Frank is not only walking but he is planning to run a 5K.
