I would definitely have ported that intake…..😉👍🏻
Do they make a clocking flange/spacer that puts the carb in the opposite direction? I have little room for an air cleaner with my engine mount set-up on my scoot coupe.
HELP! if im just using the 31mm spacer with a 28mm manifold what is the size of the studs i should use? 85mm??
the bolt space on the manifold is 45mm
Yes 85mm. I'm going with 90mm in case I use the black spacer also.

I'm trying to install the ncy manifold and cannot get the o ring to stay in place. How do you get it to work? Do I have to glue it?
ultra black rtv
Can you use this for backward facing setup?
yes we have seen that
@@Theruckshop I've been trying to fit my pwk to my scooter and the carb didn't have enough space to above the motor to mount it.. this should fix that?
I have a all in one clocking flang but it only has two holes for the bolt and no "O" ring do I continue to use a manifold gasket with this???
yes, it must not be from us then
A little late but heating water to a boil in the micro wave and letting it sit for about 20 seconds, then dipping about 1" of hose into the water for about 10 seconds, it should slip right over any nipple within reason. I came up with this when hosing my dirt bike and my hoses were just too tight and sometimes in tight places! When the hose cools, it will mildly shrink and be nice and tight.
good idea
Nice parts to fix carb angle and raise it. But there are terrible big steps in size when using those 30 mm inside diameter flanges with original cylinderhead and intake manifold. It must hurt engine performance alot because intake flow has those sharp big ”obstacles”, ”steps”... first 24 mm carb, then 30 mm flange(s) and then again small size cylinderhead intake port mouth.
most people use the all in one clocking flange since a 30mm carb usually needs more clearance for the float bowl. The new angled clocking flange is 30mm now though
Have ya'll run the carb in the factory orientation with the spacer? I can't flip mine because its in a buggy, puts the carb into the seat back. All the aftermarket intakes I've tried put the fuel bowl hitting the motor mount and the carb opening into the rear swing arm engine girdle. I need it raised about a inch to clear the motor mount and allow me to put an intake tube on it.
Ok since nobody knew the answer to this I tried it. First off thank you ruck shop. The riser was a quality piece, far nicer than anything else on my junky buggy, lol.
If you want to just use the riser with one of the "performance" intakes you need 2 6x1.0 80mm long bolts. I also used 2 flat washers and 2 lock washers. Works perfect to rise the intake and bolt straight through to the head without the clocking flange. I also done away with the plastic factory spacer on my gy6 doing this.
Will it fit on a 50cc GY6?
no it will not
@@Theruckshop do you have a similar part that will?
@@zachfox7425 we do not have anything for the gy6 50cc sorry

are all ruckus parts pretty much the same? i have an 03
are you referring to stock ruckus parts or aftermarket? the parts in the video are for a gy6 engine which doesnt fit on your stock 49cc engine. all of our parts that we make and sell for the honda ruckus work on all years of the ruckus.
a stock ruckus, if i do the gy6 swap, would all bolts line up is the frame will i have problems doing the swap
gy6 swap is not a direct bolt up swap, it requires alot of parts like engine mount, rim, tire, hub, axle, carb, filter, fuel pump. wire harness, engine, exhaust etc. generally a basic running gy6 swap will cost about 1400 to get it there
and i can get all of it from thr website correct?
ed mar yes every part that's what we do
Red Loctite on the studs?! And that was the last time you ever removed your studs. 😂
Not at all. Red loctite can come out just fine. We have used it on all our shop bikes for 12 years now and if we want to change a part we can still get it out. It’s not airplane glue
its too bad you cant see the angle of the bowls.. wow.
how do you ground the coil with this bracket?
