So happy ,that I changed my mindset and the lifestyle I was leading. 38 years ago I quit smoking.started exercising, lifting weights, and good eating habits. Back then when I was invited to parties I was the one who chose to have one drink the whole night, while everyone else, were party animals. I never liked to drink, sometimes I was talked into having one. Now I chose not to drink at all. And now when asked… I say no thank you! Thanks! For all the information you give us!❤️😃👍
And here we have it…another similarity of risk factors between breast cancer and epithelial ovarian cancer. I love learning this. It’s important for me to know this as I go through my menopausal journey with my eyes wide open…thankfully, with the teacher in you to educate me. See you next week! 😘💕
Working on that life style change. I was very sedentary when I was teaching. Now I have added daily excersize to my schedule. I have lost some weight but am currently stuck. What this has done for me is to create a group of friends who are also working out. If I miss class, they want to know where I was or why I was not there. They are all in the retirement age like me. It is motivating. Wish I had started sooner. As to the other parts, I never drank or smoked and my diet was reasonable. Still my life style caused me to become very fat.
So glad I was disgusted by and rejected the partying lifestyle when I witnessed it as a teenager. I am so thankful it will serve me well as I get older. Thank you for this education!!

You are doing great things for yourself. And I love the camaraderie you've found in your exercise.

You make me laugh. I love empowering you to make choices about how you want to manage your menopause.
Meanwhile, you always hear the low-carb camps say you need to eat plenty of to make and support hormone production......😬
