I have a 2016 with a 90HP motor. We’ve had that boat out on some really rough water. From Lake Michigan off Illinois where I live, to the Gulf of Mexico off Ft. Meyers, she’s handled it all.
I have this exact boat, just the 2022 year model with a 75 hp. Added 2 more batteries for 24v trolling motor and an another battery for auxiliary graphs. Swapped 42lb power drive for 70lb power drive with I-pilot. So far I have no complaints with the boat. Long days on big water Muskie fishing and this boat has done everything i have needed it to do. A few expensive upgrades and I’m still not even close to what a brand new Lund, ranger etc costs. Very happy with it so far. Great video as well.
I like the 75HP. I get about 37 mph with just me and gear in my boat. Changed out to a 4 blade spitfire. Lost about 1 mph top end but my hole shot is awesome. Overall I’m happy with the 75.
@GrantPeterson-ek9ew yeah, they want about 3k more for the 90hp. I figured I could use the extra money for upgrades. It's just me and the wife anyway. Mostly used for smaller lakes in New Mexico. Thanks for your reply.
I bought one of these in 2021. Love it. I will say that if you fish all day, the trolling battery doesn't last long enough. Might be better to go to Lithium, double battery or a 24V system for trolling.
I love your videos, and I appreciate you, jumping in these boats and walking through them and explaining everything that’s in them. My brother-in-law and I are looking for a used boat to hit some of the lakes and rivers in Missouri but inflation has definitely keep us from pulling the trigger.
Excellent video man. I just ordered mine and I think my family and I will enjoy it big time. This will be my first boat. Yes, price is up there especially when you start adding things that you would like such as a better fish finder, etc but man you live once and if you can swing it, do it. You only live once. Keep up the great work man.
I think that’s awesome! If you have done all of the pros and cons and that’s what you want. You deserve that boat for yourself. That is a super nice boat and you are gonna love it.
New boats have gone way up in 20 years. I bought a new 2002 Tracker 16 foot Pro Angler boat with 25hp motor and trailer from Bass Pro in Grapevine Texas back in the spring of 2002 for $8,800. Financed for five years. I keep it in my garage, towed it from DFW to Lake Vermilion Minnesota about six times now, on my fourth set of tires, motor (Mercury 25EL two cycle) runs great. It is riveted and sturdy. If you are looking for a good used boat, my model is really good. Of course, I am not selling mine.
Just got an add the other day and they had the 2023 Tracker Bass Tracker Classic XL with a 50hp merc for $16,900 which I though was a pretty good deal. Tried to talk my wife into it but she said no because I already have 2 boats lol
No question about it here, awesome video. also it's a great one too. I just literally got done ordering those one inch charlie brewers crappie slider grubs and the colors I ordered are white chartreuse tail, chartreuse black orange tail and chartreuse glitter. Can't wait to get the men. I can use some for Crappie, trout and panfish.
That comes to almost $50,000 for a stripped down, no frills, aluminum boat. You'll need a decent trolling motor and good graphs - so add another $10,000.
That motor alone is 10k and the material labor to build hull is 10k So good profit there. Plus bank makes interest. Hull is .100 welded structure and has a decent chine width and deadrise for larger waves. A bit over priced maybe, but still a good boat.
Can you believe Tracker doesn't include a spare tire with this boat? Also, the trailer frame has Galvashield, protecting it, but the axle is just plain steel. Trolling motor battery placement is odd, right in the middle of the front 2 storage hatches. Had to change that out right away, Moved the battery tray to the front left and changed the battery to a 12v100ah LifePo4 mini. Double the power of the lead acid 85ah, 35% smaller and only 20 lbs. Couple of "gripes" i turned into warranty, side graphics bubbled, splash well paint rubbed off which I noticed when I got home and some sharp burs on the bottom weld. Wasn't very pleased with the sales manager at the BassPro I purchased from. May be an issue with the company as a whole. I filed a complaint with Tracker/BassPro Customer Relations and still waiting for a call back after a week.
You could easily save a few grand by dropping down to a 40hp outboard. As is the boat is over motored...you don't need a 90 to push a 16 foot V hull plenty fast. And if you need to finance for 180 months maybe you should be shopping used boats instead...
Is there a boat dealer ship that sell seaark catfish boats near if is so can you do a comparison with that boat and a true rough water catfish boat if it’s ok with you because I’m not sure if I should get that one or a actual seaark catfish boat that has a 80 gallon well compared to that 😅
I’m in San Antonio and I believe there is a sea ark dealer in Houston. That’s a great question on which one to get. I guess that will come down to the pros and cons for you. That 80 gallon live well will definitely come in handy if you catch a monster.
Yeah the payment timeline is crazy how much you end up spending and it goes on forever. The smart way would be to buy used, but I’ve talked to some people that decided the boat was more of a pro than con for them.
BassCHASER, typical long term payment plans. That is how the financial institutions get you on these boat loans. Same with houses, you buy a house for $150k. 30yrs down the road you have paid $450k or about…plan to decrease loan term to 5-6 yrs. For $30k you are getting a brand new boat that will last you a long time if taken care of properly.

That’s awesome those boats are beasts! I can believe it!

You setup that boat nicely. I like what you did with it! Thanks bud!
How's that Mercury 75hp on it? I wonder if the 90hp is overkill.
I like the 75HP. I get about 37 mph with just me and gear in my boat. Changed out to a 4 blade spitfire. Lost about 1 mph top end but my hole shot is awesome. Overall I’m happy with the 75.

Yeah that inflation has really pushed back everyone’s wants of getting a boat. The prices and interest now is crazy.
Excellent video man. I just ordered mine and I think my family and I will enjoy it big time. This will be my first boat. Yes the prices of boats has Gotten Ridiculous. Sounds like you got a good one.

Ha doesn’t hurt to ask Gonzalo. That sounds like a pretty good deal.

Oh yeah shawn those are perfect colors for whatever kind of water you got. Those will definitely catch them. Thanks bud
Bro your channel is killing it! Good job!!
Thanks bud I appreciate it!
That's a cool boat. I would upgrade the trolling motor.
Yeah I would too it would be nicer with a bigger one.
That comes to almost $50,000 for a stripped down, no frills, aluminum boat. You'll need a decent trolling motor and good graphs - so add another $10,000.
Yeah that is super expensive after that
how do you drain the cooler in the back of the boat ? I can't figure it out . Thanks
I have one. It holds 5 people that weigh about 120lbs each.
Oh yeah I bet you love that boat it’s a nice one.
That motor alone is 10k and the material labor to build hull is 10k So good profit there. Plus bank makes interest. Hull is .100 welded structure and has a decent chine width and deadrise for larger waves. A bit over priced maybe, but still a good boat.
Yes I agree a little over priced probably but a great platform.
I bought one of the V16s with a WT. Thing eats the waves, but my back doesn't.
Nice yeah those wave slappera put ya down the next morning

Yeah I can’t believe that either. Dang that stinks bud.

Yes the boats up there are expensive

When your through with the payments, 47,000.00!!!!
Isn’t that crazy. Gotta do that long math
Yep! Hard pass!!!
Yeah, I’m saving to put half down and pay more on principal. Be down in 5 years
Can this thing be put in salt water? I’ve always thought of trackers as bass boats.
Very nice
Thank ya Kenneth!
Good stuff thanks
Your welcome bud!
I paid less than that for my first home. Three bedroom brick. What has the world come to???
Yes I guess it comes down to priorities anymore with these expensive boats unless you have a cash tree in n the backyard.
dam mine is a 2022 and over 30k. also didn't even have the full windshield
Dang!
I just don't understand, how can you get a car for the same price and the same payment for 7 yrs, 84 months.
Isn’t that crazy
The interest rate on "toys" is usually higher.
That's no cooler at the bow - that's a toilet seat.
Ha yes!
50k with their payment plan.
A lot of money
By the time you do 180 month you be over 45k lol . Buy use
Yeah the payment timeline is crazy how much you end up spending and it goes on forever. The smart way would be to buy used, but I’ve talked to some people that decided the boat was more of a pro than con for them.

262x18 is 47grand for a 29k boat😂
47k if you finance for 180 months. Hard pass.
Yeah if you do the math it is forever and alot of money
Eeeeesshh 15 year term. By then you could wake up dead , or worse. Thanks for the video review
Yeah that is forever just to pay for a boat and have a lower payment. Thanks bud!
47000
This boat has shitty storage, I own one 😂
Apparently, you didn't see that before you bought it?
@@greghomestead8366 nah didn’t bother looking, just threw cash at the dealer and told them i want it
Where you see shortage of boats...you kidding me....?
No there is a shortage of boats right now. They just aren’t really being made like they were and if you do find one then you did good!
