Great Job on your Review of your V-16SC , im in the process of purchasing a 2023 V-16WT , except flooring is all vinyl , good to know that it can get slippery when wet & yes I agree with you on the location of the battery for the trolling motor , they could of put in a better location or added another compartment in the front like you said , again love the video , great job on the review 👍👍

Thanks for the video Tim. We just ordered a 2021 after spending the day in one as a rental at a local lake. We were not able to see one at the time of ordering due to none being available so we did it based on our one day experience. Your video helped remind us of some things that you will not see on their website. We are looking forward to getting the boat and your video will help us prepare for what to expect.
Hi Randy, thanks for the compliment. I’m very happy to hear how this Tracker v16 review helped you. Congrats on your new fishing boat purchase - definitely an exciting moment! Have a great summer enjoying your boat and catching fish.
Hey Scott, the base price was $18,395 USD plus $1,350 for freight and prep. I also purchased the 5-year extended Mercury warranty for $1,000 for a total of 8 years for the warranty since Mercury provides a 3-year warranty automatically. With taxes, title and doc fees, it put me at $22,650 for everything. I hope this helps.
@@timmygbass6287 I had a 2014 Red V-Bottom SC 60 HP and sold it 5 months ago and now I am in the process of buying a new one .....I Found a good one in Houston, Texas it’s a 2019 SC 75 HP Black with Gray Trip with only 10 hours on it. So they say !!! They want 20,250 for it .... it has the Bimini top the spare tire and upgraded Fishfinder..... The only problem I’m having with that is they want 2,100 to ship it to me. If you could please send me your email address and I can show you pictures of it and get your opinion of it. Thanks Scott from Henderson Nevada
@Scott James you will get a little more power with the 75hp compared to the 60hp I have, but it seems steep on the price they’re asking you to pay assuming it was pre-owned with the 10hrs on it. The depreciation I would think should be a lot lower. You may be better off visiting a local Tracker dealer and shopping the 2020’s since they now have the 2021’s in stock - might be able to find a good deal on a new boat they’re needing to move. If you’d still like to send me pictures of the boat, let me know and drop your email in the comments.
You’re more than welcome - glad to help! Congrats on the upcoming Tracker boat purchase. Be sure to keep us updated on how you like it. Fish on, my friend.
Great video. Really shows the size and functionality of the boat. Debating between a SC and WT! Always wanted a windshield boat but this video really shows how much space you lose, super hard decision now.

I bought a Pro Guide v17 sc new in 2007 ...Still have it , came with 4-stroke 60hp Merc. Big Foot engine ...So good on gas when i first got the boat i thought the fuel gage was broken ....Over the years i thought about upgrading to a 90 or 115hp engine ,,,,but not gonna lie this 60hp that came with the boat runs so sweet i cant part with it ... On my model the trolling motor batt. was in the rear next to the primary batt.

Nice spacious rig, I also prefer the single console or tiller steer for the space. Be careful with that transom saver on your motor, I have heard of cases of the plastic/rubber piece that "V" up against the lower unit coming out and scratching the motor. Check them regularly.
I had this conversation with a friend of mine and I wonder if it would come true: With COVID lock downs in effect and people not able to work, I wonder if all these people buying new or old boats will wind up selling because, once this is over with, they won't be able to go fishing as much or at all any more. NICE boat!
Thanks for the compliment! You bring up a great point - I have also thought about this. Let’s hope everyone is still able to enjoy their boats and time on the water once normality resumes. Fish on my friend!
Strangely, I bought my boat before all that crap. I wanted to go everywhere, but I didn't, because who wants to spend a week eating in parking lots? I've gotten use out of it locally and have finally made some trips this year. One more trip to go and it goes back to the dealer for consignment. Lol! I'll probably break even cash wise because of inflation. Whereas 3 years ago when I bought it, I figured a 30% loss on my money after 3 years of ownership.
It’s a great fishing boat for its size! Be sure to subscribe to my other channel where I create additional videos and baits. It’s called: Red Angle Fishing Products. Thanks in advance 🎣
Great review on this tracker boat. I am looking to buy this in the WT model so your review really helped with some of our questions. I will checkout some of your other videos. Thanks
Hi Tracy, I’m glad this boat review video has helped answer some of your questions. Good luck with your new boat purchase and be sure to keep us updated on how you like the v16 WT. Stay safe and tight lines, my friend.
There are a few things they could improve on for sure. As far as taking your trolling motor battery out of the boat to charge it is completely unnecessary. Just install an onboard charger and plug it in. The switch on your trolling motor, CON stands for constant and MOM stands for momentary so it will stop when you let off the switch. It may seem like theres some wasted space around the compartments but thats for flotation foam.
I got a 2005 v16 tracker boat. Your trolling battery complaint makes sense however, that battery placement equalizes the weight since that battery is pretty heavy.
I have a 2014 Tiller model and I love it! The only thing I cant figure out is why they put the drain in the middle of the floor??when i wash the boat all the water pools up in the rear against the carpet in the back.I cut a hole in the floor in the rearof the boat, and installed a shower drain cover, and now the water all drains out.
Very nice and informative video! Between your video and Frank's description, it makes for a an informative post/thread. To you and all fellow participants in this comment section: I'm considering a couple of boats.....first one is nearby and the second one is 8 hours away. Both private party, original owners. Both have OEM Tracker trailers. 1. 2020 Pro Guide V16 SC (side console) 75hp Merc., 15 hours use, , bimini and trailer brakes. Black color: $20K. 2. 2018 Pro Guide V16 WT (windshield model) 60hp Merc., 10 hrs use, two Cannon manual downriggers with weights (cost $500), upgraded to Garmin FF with GPS and maps (cost $1000), bimini. Blue Color: $21K. Here in SoCal prices are always at a premium, especially when they are very clean. USES: I live and fish local reservoirs/lakes near my home and occasionally fish the Colorado River. It gets pretty warm out here where I live. I want to take my 17yo son who has Autism fishing with me. My son is able bodied, 6' tall, and loves the outdoors! His gross physical dexterity and balance are age typical. I'm looking for a safe, stable, and comfortable boat. I considered a pontoon, but think it's just too much to deal with, especially when I fish alone. I am recently retired so I have plenty of time for enjoyment! Questions: 1. How safe will this boat be based on my intended uses and for my son? 2. What are the advantages (pros/cons) between the WT (windshield) model and the SC (side console) model? 3. Thoughts between these two boats for their years and prices? Please feel free to add any insights to my thoughts and considerations. Thanks to you and all participants here.
To answer your questions to the best of my ability: 1. How safe will this boat be based on my intended uses and for my son? *I think the boat itself is very safe but also think most of this relies on the type of water you fish and how you drive it. 2. What are the advantages (pros/cons) between the WT (windshield) model and the SC (side console) model? *In my opinion you’ll get more floor space with the SC since the console doesn’t go all the way across. You will get more splash up with the SC compared to the WT. 3. Thoughts between these two boats for their years and prices? *The market is high right now for boat pricing, so expect that no matter where you go. Seems like both have very little usage and are close to being like new without the new price tag. I’d say it’s worth checking them out to make sure nothing is wrong and make the purchase based on your instincts. Hope this helps. Thanks for the compliment about the video and be sure to keep us updated.
Nice vid! I just picked one of these up with the WT windshield. I don't like where the battery is either and just ordered a 100AH mini lithium iron battery. Seems better for storage, certainly easier to remove a 19 lb. battery versus 50 or 60 lb. We'll see how it works. Just wondering if you ever figured out a better position for the battery to manage storage?. Thanks for the great review!
Thanks for the compliment. I never figured out a better battery placement - I just got used to it lol. That’s a great idea about upgrading to a lighter battery! Fish on and thanks for watching!
Great point! I typically don’t run with a full tank as well unless I’m in a tournament 😃 However, I didn’t know they perform the float test on the boat w/ a full-tank. Thanks for the info! Fish on, my friend!
Great review Tim. I have a 2018 V16SC and love the boat. I have the 75hp Merc and have to say I think that is the perfect happy medium between 60 and 90 for this boat. I can get it up on step and reliably hit 37MPH on a flat lake. I have the same complaints about the boat as you do - the floor is way slick when wet, and that trolling battery kills so much space - hate it. I did install an inboard battery charger right next to it - so the battery can be charged right in the boat easily. Other upgrades I did were: upgrade the trolling motor to one with GPS and pilot modes, replace the trailer tie downs with Boat Buckles (love them), and upgrade the electronics. I also bought a battery jumper cable long enough to jump the two batteries - in case you accidentally wind up on the water with a dead engine battery - you can start from the trolling battery. Or if your engine dies - you can run the trolling motor off of both batteries to get back to shore. The versa-track is great for mounting all kinds of accessories. I have cup holders, pole holders, and down rigger mounts on them. I am about to add a bimini top that mounts to the track as well. In my 2018. they have a small compartment up front to house the trolling motor pedal - not sure why the heck they eliminated that in current model. I wish I had a thorough review like this when I bought back in 2018. In 4 years of ownership - the only problem I've had was with the tilt electronics on the Merc. This is a great utility fishing boat for so may purposes - and a great value as well. I highly recommend it for someone wanting to upgrade from the usual aluminum skiff and get more boat around them for bigger water. And - you can pile a few grandkids in it and tow a tube behind it and have a ball.
Hey Frank! Thanks for sharing your experience with your tracker boat. It definitely seems like you really enjoy your boat. Glad to hear you take the grandkids on it as well. Fish on, Frank!
Love the video Timmy! I just bought a 2016 Pro Guide V16, with the dual console and the full windshield. My last boat had the single console, and yeah the space lost is a compromise, but we plan to use the boat for pleasure as well as fishing so I kinda wanted the added console for family comfort. I agree 100% on the front storage.... what were they thinking designing a fishing boat this nice... and not incorporating any tackle storage. AND I would like to have 2 trolling motor batteries, but there's not enough room. Advertisement video for the boat shows the guy sticking the tackle trays down next to the trolling battery, it works but it should be better. I am a bit confused with the bilge setup, mine is exactly like your and I had hoped you went into more detail on it. The guy I got the boat from didn't use it, so he couldn't explain it. But why does it say "Recirc pump out"? it doesn't seem to pump out, just recirculate the water.
Thanks for the compliment! I assume you’re talking about the livewell and not the bilge. The bilge switch will say bilge and you can turn it on if you think you’re taking in water or if you are taking in water from leaks, rain, waves , etc. Your livewell will have two separate heads/nozzles - the white is your aerator that can be screwed loose to allow water to come in when you want to fill up your livewell. The red one can be pushed in or pulled out. In = circulate water in. Out = pumping water out. Also make sure the plug is screwed in inside livewell if you want to keep water in. Hope this helps and congrats on your new boat!
Good review! I have same concern about bow storage. I have a proguide 175 combo and I know there is space to put storage. I opened the bow panel when doing my trolling upgrade and pecked under the floor. There is no foam where they could of put storage. I dunno about that model
Thanks for the compliment and awesome feedback on your Pro Guide 175. You bring up a great point - I’m not sure whether or not there is foam in that area to prevent additional storage. It’s definitely something I will be looking into in the future. Thanks again for the heads up!
Great review. Do you have the dimensions of the rectangular cockpit floor. The flat surface covered with the vinyl. I have some specific requirements for this and the exact dimensions would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance.
Hi Peter, thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately, I do not have those dimensions at this time. Sorry I couldn’t be much help for your question. Tight lines, my friend!
Epic fail on the troll motor storage and slippery floor! if it was my boat and I planned on keeping it for a long time, I'd get some plexiglass or something and box in that battery so that I could utilize that area for storage. Also, would upgrade troll motor to a Terrova (24-volt system) Spot lock is the cat's meow! There'd be no taking out the battery(s) to charge it(them). On board charger for sure, would be added. I'd get SeaDek for that cockpit floor. Also, would take out that little deck section that sticks out at the stern and have a just encase deck box made for that area that would go all the way across. Those would be the first upgrades I would do. BTW - passenger side = port side. Driver's side = starboard side. ;)

Nice review Tim. I just bought a used 2017 Tracker Pro Guide V16 SC, this is my first fishing boat mind you. I bought it from a recently widowed woman that knew nothing about it or its features. Myself I know nothing about using the live wells pumps, or even the trolling motor aside from a little common sense. Are you aware of a video that goes over the features and use in more depth?
Thanks Keith! Congrats on your new boat! I plan to do a more in-depth review about the features aspect, so stay tuned for that. If you have specific questions, feel free to ask on here and I’ll be more than happy to answer them. Thanks again and fish on my friend!
Also, another thing if you haven’t thought about it already, you should really look into installing a onboard charger 2 bank to charge your TM and Big motor batteries. Also, an alternator charger (minnkota makes one but I use the stealth charger) will top off your trolling motor battery once your big motor battery is topped off while on water. Between these two you will Never need to take out your trolling battery. And you can make a nice outlet plug. Noco genius makes a port for it... finished look at you won’t have to mess w opening the compartment when you wanna plug It in. Lemme know if you have any questions. Enjoy it man
I have read a little about some of the onboard chargers, but not much. If you wouldn’t mind providing me the link(s) to what you have, that would be great! Thanks for the recommendation!
I linked 3 bank ones. That way if you ever upgrade to a 24v trolling you can still use these chargers. And you should be able to double up on the leads in the meantime to single battery before you upgrade to 24v. Price diff is nominal. Hope that makes sense. It will change your life lol
Timmy G Bass your boat will be easy to run wires. I would run them driver console side and then mount your alternator charger (dc) and home plug charger (ac) both under console on wall and then circle cut out on the other side of console (front) under windshield for the three prong plug. Nice clean look and easy access for the charger plug... if you ever do do it make sure you message me and make a video haha
Thanks for the compliment. It does surprisingly well in shallower water. Depending on the time of year, I fish a lot of flats and grass beds where it’s a little more shallow, and this boat gets in 2ft of water no problem. Just pay attention to your graph and depth to avoid going too shallow. Tight lines, Pietro!
Are you saying you have to pull the battery up front to charge it? No on-board charger? I started looking at these particular boats because i want to fish a lake that can get fairly rough due to wakeboard boat traffic in the summer, and windy conditions too. How stable is the boat for bass fishing from the platform? Stilll stable with 2 people on the platforms? I really like the layout on these small boats. Seem like they would make a great bass/crappie/catfish boat.
The battery was located in the front of the boat. In order to charge it you have to pull it out or hook up your charger which can be a pain. Hope this helps.
David Cervantes, thanks! I’m glad it helped you. Here’s a link that will provide you additional pricing based on motor type you want for the 2021 model - the 2020 (which is what I have in this video may be discounted now the 2021’s are out): www.trackerboats.com/deep-v/pro-guide-v-16-sc.html
Thanks for the excellent and informative video! I am looking for the same boat, either the Super Glide or the more expensive Pro Guide that you have. Did you look at the Super Glide and if so your thoughts? Subscribed!
Hi Bob! Thanks for the compliment. I’m glad you found this video helpful. I believe you’re talking about the Tracker Super Guide instead of Glide. The Super Guide is going to be a smaller boat in length & width, less motor hp rating, less seating capacity, etc. In my personal opinion, you receive a good amount more boat and power for the cost difference when choosing the Pro Guide compared to the Super. Of course it really depends what your personal preference is, but I liked the Pro Guide (boat in the video) over the Super Guide. I hope this helps. Good luck and be sure to keep us updated with your purchase. Fish on my friend.
Hi Henry & Joseph, thanks for the compliment! The storage length for this tracker boat is listed at 19' 10'' w/ the motor trimmed down. Depending on your garage, you may be able to put it in your 19’ deep garage if backed in on an angle. I would recommend taking measurements first to confirm, but it may be doable. Best of luck, and fish on!
Hi Timmy, great vid; what is the storage height with the boat on trailer? The website listed Package height as 6'8'', I am not sure if that is equivalent to storage height when boat on trailer. My garage is 19.6 in length/8.5 in width/6.88 in height; do you think the boat can fit? Thanks.
Hi Jielei, thanks for the compliment. I believe the package height and storage height is close to the same. The package width is 7’6”, so you should be ok on the width. But the storage length is listed at 19’10” and your garage is 19.6, which is an issue. Unfortunately, I don’t think this boat will fit with the length & possibly the height. An option would be to store it somewhere else or at a local boat marina. I hope it all works out for you. Please keep me updated on what happens. Fish on my friend.
Hi Kenneth, I purchased this boat back in 2020 before everything started happening with the shortage of supplies, materials, labor, etc. The dealership already had the boat and I had it in my possession within a week or so. But again, that was before things became delayed like modern times. I’m hearing of some guys not receiving their new boats until 4-6 months from the time they placed their order. My advice if you’re planning to purchase a new boat: do it ASAP to have it in time for next summer. Even if you receive it a lot sooner, at least you’ll be ready rather than letting warmer months pass you by without it. Hope this helps. Fish on, my friend.
Hi Ryan, thanks for the compliment. Here is the link for this particular model straight from Tracker’s website. They have reduced the price a tad due to the newer models being out. This price does not include your state taxes, dealership doc fees and additional warranties you may purchase. It also may not include your freight and prep fees (unless you choose a dealership in your area). I hope this helps. And as always, fish on, my friend. 🎣 www.trackerboats.com/deep-v/previous/2020-pro-guide-v-16-sc.html
I don’t see any harm in upgrading the motor size other than lesser gas mileage for only a few extra miles/hour of speed. I am comfortable with the 60hp for what I need it to do. Hope this helps, and fish on.
Hey Charlie, thanks! It all depends on what you choose to add on - motor warranty, trailer warranty, etc. Also, freight may be different depending where you live. And, you can’t forget your state taxes lol. Prices have gone up since I purchased this boat, so I recommend going on Tracker’s website to get an accurate price. I hope this helps and feel free to subscribe. Fish on, my friend. 🎣
Thx Tim. I saw your new video ,congrats on your new 17.5!! Your videos are great. I wish these boats werent so dam expensive but im going "new"someday.I cant believe how used ones are at least 1/2 the price of a new one after 20 yrs of use. I really like your new 17.5. Congrats
@@charliegalanti8765 I appreciate the compliments! The price of boats have definitely increased the last few years and used boats are crazy high also. Be sure to keep us posted when you make your purchase. Thanks again, Charlie!
Get creative and make a platform and move the trolling battery to be enclosed in one of the two compartment. On a serious note though I would have 2 batteries for trolling and a 3 bank battery charger so you won't be taking batteries in/out to charge or reach in to charge.
You might be on to something regarding making a platform and moving the trolling motor to be enclosed 😂😂😂. I’ve thought about the 3-bank battery charger idea, however, I keep my boat at a marina and they do not offer electrical stations/outlets around the boat wells to plug it in. I have thought about running some solar powered units that would feed a trickle charge to the battery. The units would be small and not in the way.
Hey Fredrick, great question! Surprisingly I do not notice when a fishing buddy hooks into one while on the boat unless I hear the fish splash, his reel drag sound off, or he shouts, “fish on.” Tracker did a great job with the design of this boat for sturdiness. The beam is 7’ 4” wide, so it packs a nice punch for a smaller boat.
@@timmygbass6287 Also a lot of people would love to see the boat in action review. Almost all reviews are in garages and driveways. A lot of guys like me are really needed plane and trolling motor videos. Just FYI if you wanted to make another vid. Thanks again
You’re more than welcome! I’m not experienced with Lowe, but they seem good for the price. I think it’s normal to get cold feet when you’re making a big investment like this with so many options. At least it was for me lol. Also, thanks for the tips about a boat performance review when it’s actually on the water. I was thinking about this, but unfortunately up here in the north, that video is going to have to wait until the spring when things start to thaw out. Feel free to follow and I’ll be sure to post one in the spring. Thanks again :)
Hi Justin. I don’t use an anchor but if I did, there would be enough storage space for it. Depending on the lake, this boat would only need a 15-20lb anchor. Hope this helps.
It handles really well. I wouldn’t recommend taking it out in the middle of Lake Erie or something similar to that but something like a lake St Clair is good. St Clair is like a miniature Erie lol. Hope this helps!
It sounds like water is coming in from weather elements. Maybe check how you’re covering it to see if there are any openings where water could be leaking in. Good luck my friend.
Hi Trevor, great question! I have not done any recreational activities with it that you mentioned. I have been thinking a lot about it, though. The boat has the power to perform, but I’m just not sure where I would hook up the rope to pull safely. I can do a video on it once I figure it out. Have a good one and fish on.
@@timmygbass6287 yeah man a video/review of that aspect of the v16 would be great! I'm buying it mainly as a fishing boat, but if I could get some recreational use out of it that'd be a huge plus. I'm tempted to upgrade a few models so I could get the recreational boating package included, but if the v16 will do the job I'd rather save the money and go with it. Your video was extremely helpful (minus the recreational side). Definitely the best one i could find for months of this model, so thanks!
I’m glad my video could help. I primarily use my boat for fishing as well, but if I could make it more versatile to take my wife and son out tubing then that would be even better. Hopefully once spring comes and all this snow/ice melts, I’ll be able to come up with something to do so.
Hey Timmy! Just a little friends note: That seat bracket in front of the outboard, which you claimed to be pretty bad for seat and sitting purposes - it actually might be a base for a ski towing pole. You can buy them from your local dealer and it comes with a aluminium/steel tube which has a metal ring on top of it.
Hey Kevin. Prices have gone up on boats within the last 9 months or so. I recommend visiting Tracker’s website with the link I provided to gather an accurate price for this model. Hope this helps. www.trackerboats.com/deep-v/pro-guide-v-16-sc.html
Hey Mark! You’re more than welcome. This boat does a great job chopping through waves and rides extremely smooth on calmer water. Top speed is around 32-35 mph depending on how much weight is in the boat, weather elements, etc. Hope this helps. Fish on my friend!
It’s hard to say due to many factors and upgrades you may want to add. Also, prices have increased this year across the board. I’d recommend hopping on Tracker’s website and building a boat you like for accurate pricing. Thanks for watching.
I cannot give an honest answer to that since I have never owned a Lund. I hear good things about Lund, though. Sorry I couldn’t provide further info. Fish on, my friend.
Went To the Tracker Boat center in Shakopee. Mn. to look at a used boat. It was crap so I looked at a new boat. They emailed me a quote including taxes and all fees along with a credit app. I filled out the app online overnight and went to the dealer at 8am when they open. They said the price went up overnight $1,505.00. They don't want to honor their own written quote that's less than 24 hours old. Then at 5pm I get a call and email saying...OOOOPs. Its the 2022's that went up in price not the 2021's. still want the boat? UMMMMMMMMMMM.
Wow! I have heard the pricing is going up on just about all boats and the price increase will be reflecting on new boat orders apparently. Hopefully you get the boat you want without the price increase. Good luck and tight lines, my friend.
It’s my understanding that you can use Tracker boats in both fresh and salt water. Beware that salt is known to corrode and damage certain things on boats over time. I would recommend contacting Tracker or Bass Pro for further information. This boat from the video is used in freshwater only. Hope this helps and tight lines!

I bought a Pro Guide v17 sc new in 2007 ...Still have it , came with 4-stroke 60hp Merc. On my model the trolling motor batt. was in the rear next to the primary batt.
Hey Brad! Great to hear about the longevity of your boat and motor. It’s definitely tough to beat the 60hp for gas mileage.

Nice spacious rig, I also prefer the single console or tiller steer for the space. Be careful with that transom saver on your motor, I have heard of cases of the plastic/rubber piece that "V" up against the lower unit coming out and scratching the motor. Check them regularly.

Thank for the compliment, Jon. Good luck with your purchase and enjoy!
I have 2018 model. Agree 100% on location of trolling motor battery placement. Difficult to charge and take in and out.
The best option is to install a bank charger and run the wires to the battery. Definitely frustrating. Fish on and tight lines my friend!
Whereas 3 years ago when I bought it, I figured a 30% loss on my money after 3 years of ownership.
that is a nice boat for some fresh water and possibly salt water fishing well if you are inshore/marsh area

Good review! Looking into this exact model (2018).
Thanks for the compliment! Be sure to keep us updated when you purchase your boat and let us know what you think. Fish on, my friend!
I got a 2005 v16 tracker boat. Your trolling battery complaint makes sense however, that battery placement equalizes the weight since that battery is pretty heavy.
Hey Jimmy, thanks for the feedback. I also thought that was a possibility. The battery is definitely a heavier battery lol. Thanks again and fish on.

To you and all fellow participants in this comment section:
I'm considering a couple of boats.....first one is nearby and the second one is 8 hours away.
Questions:
How safe will this boat be based on my intended
uses and for my son? *I think the boat itself is very safe but also think most of this relies on the type of water you fish and how you drive it. 2. What are the advantages (pros/cons)
between the WT (windshield) model and the SC (side console)
model? *In my opinion you’ll get more floor space with the SC since the console doesn’t go all the way across. You will get more splash up with the SC compared to the WT. 3. Thoughts between these two boats for their years
and prices?

FYI the five persons can be adjuster according to fuel. They do the float test with a full tank. I run with 16 gallons gives me 60 extra ponds

Driver's side = starboard side. ;)

Also, another thing if you haven’t thought about it already, you should really look into installing a onboard charger 2 bank to charge your TM and Big motor batteries. Between these two you will

@@318android3 this is great stuff! I appreciate you sharing this info and links!
Nice little v hull boat. How does it draft in shallow water while fishing?

Any updates. This boat fits my price range but I'm curious how she's holding up. Thanks.
@@johnjolly2087 so far so good.
great video ! One question- how deep is your garage ? Will this boat fit in a 19' deep garage ? Thanks !
Why don’t they wire the trolling motor to charge off the main motor?Could you wire it to do that?

How long did it take to get the boat once you ordered it thanks.very nice boat.

If you bought this again would you go with the bigger engine like a 75hp or a 90hp?
I don’t see any harm in upgrading the motor size other than lesser gas mileage for only a few extra miles/hour of speed. I am comfortable with the 60hp for what I need it to do. Hope this helps, and fish on.
How much out the door ? Thats really nice
They are designed for choppy waters and do really really good in my experience. Hope this helps. Fission and tight lines!
How is it holding up after a couple of seasons of fishing?
So far so good. A few times a year I have to tighten screws and bolts up but overall it’s good!
ever use in saltwater?
How sturdy is she while fishing? Any significant rocking when a partner sets a hook?
Hey Fredrick, great question! Surprisingly I do not notice when a fishing buddy hooks into one while on the boat unless I hear the fish splash, his reel drag sound off, or he shouts, “fish on.” Tracker did a great job with the design of this boat for sturdiness. The beam is 7’ 4” wide, so it packs a nice punch for a smaller boat.

The lack of storage is the most glaring concern to me. Where do you keep your anchor?
Hi Justin. I don’t use an anchor but if I did, there would be enough storage space for it. Depending on the lake, this boat would only need a 15-20lb anchor. Hope this helps.
I’m trying to figure out length with swing away tounge. Need to know if it will fit in my garage.
Hey Carlos, the storage length for this boat with the tongue swung back and the motor trimmed down is 19’10”. I hope this helps.

How does it handle rough waters and Highwinds
It handles really well. I wouldn’t recommend taking it out in the middle of Lake Erie or something similar to that but something like a lake St Clair is good. St Clair is like a miniature Erie lol. Hope this helps!
Can I go tubing with these types of boats?
This model doesn’t come with the tubing pole, but some create a way to tube on this boat. It has plenty of power.
Nice 👍
Thanks!
Tim, have water in my compartments 3 of the 6 compartments 1- 2” water in side and small compartments in back of boat? Solutions????
It sounds like water is coming in from weather elements. Maybe check how you’re covering it to see if there are any openings where water could be leaking in. Good luck my friend.
Can this boat go in salt water ?
Have you ever pulled skiers, tubes, or wakeboards? How does it handle and how do you hook it up?
@@ollivihermaa that’s a really good point. I am going to look into that! Thanks a lot for your tip :)
nice boat! But that boat looks navy blue lol
Thanks! The boat is black lol. But they do offer it in a dark blue also.
What is a “good amount of time”? One day? Half a day? A few trips? I’m new to boating and I’m genuinely curious.
5 gallons of cruising around the lake is about 6 hours
Did u say the floor is wood or aluminum
@@outdoorsman8498 the floor is vinyl.
@@timmygbass6287 what is under the vinyl
@@outdoorsman8498 that I’m not sure about. Good question.
Wait what only 33 mph on a 60 hp 4 stroke? That's crazy, need to prop up with tachometer to max before red line.
That's about all you're going to get. Boat's underpowered!
Why?
How much did everything cost? Ballpark?
Hey Kevin. Prices have gone up on boats within the last 9 months or so. I recommend visiting Tracker’s website with the link I provided to gather an accurate price for this model. Hope this helps. www.trackerboats.com/deep-v/pro-guide-v-16-sc.html
how do you check the hours on this boat?
I bought a gauge separately to track hours on the motor. It doesn’t come with one on the boat from the factory.
What is the power rating? Usually the outboard can be better?
Hi Mark, the motor on this boat is a 60hp. The maximum recommended HP is 90 for this particular boat.

Thanks. I understand your concerns. But it looks like a very good boat for a disabled person like me.
Is it a smooth ride?
Hey Mark! You’re more than welcome. This boat does a great job chopping through waves and rides extremely smooth on calmer water. Top speed is around 32-35 mph depending on how much weight is in the boat, weather elements, etc. Hope this helps. Fish on my friend!
Install an onboard battery charger(s) and your problem is solved.
Thanks for the tip, Peter!
Crestliner offers way more bang for the buck
I’m not familiar with their boats. They seem like nice boats though 😃
Your port side trailer fender is uneven
Good catch! It does appear to be off. Thanks for watching!
How much are those boat, average?
It’s hard to say due to many factors and upgrades you may want to add. Also, prices have increased this year across the board. I’d recommend hopping on Tracker’s website and building a boat you like for accurate pricing. Thanks for watching.
Hey brother pretty sure that's not a seat post it's for a ski pylon.
For this model it’s for a seat. The combo versions is what offers the ski post. Hope this helps. Fish on! 🎣
Is there a big difference between tracker and lund boats?
I cannot give an honest answer to that since I have never owned a Lund. I hear good things about Lund, though. Sorry I couldn’t provide further info. Fish on, my friend.
Lund's are the standard by which all other aluminum Deep-V boats are judged. Probably a lot more money as well.
From my knowledge, Lunda are definitely more expensive compared to Tracker boats.
MOM = momentary
Correct!
Tracker not close in quality compared to Lund and a few others
Lund tiller
You know it!
@@timmygbass6287 i will not buy a tracker boat. If buying a boat there is like that imagine what getting warranty work done is like
Buy still goid eeal
this boat can be used for salt water as well?
It’s my understanding that you can use Tracker boats in both fresh and salt water. Beware that salt is known to corrode and damage certain things on boats over time. I would recommend contacting Tracker or Bass Pro for further information. This boat from the video is used in freshwater only. Hope this helps and tight lines!
