Hello my beautiful people! Presenting you a new slightly spooky composition called โIn The Dead of Nightโ.
As the crooked boughs creek above your head, and the misty air carries the scent of rust and rot, a wicked root catches your foot and you fall face down on the soggy ground. You struggle to get up, slipping on the damp decaying leaves. Your hand slides across a sharp stone, and hot blood sprays over the putrid floor. In the light of a pale moon beam, you watch the leaves soak up your unwilling gift. The fog starts lifting, and all the forest ceases its breath. There, across the bog, stands a house, with somber decrepit walls, and blind indifferent eyes. You finally get up, still dripping crimson, and take a step back. You know itโs too late. The door has swayed open, and the shadows are pouring out.

Listening to this on an evening dog walk in early September. The sun has set but the sky is still bright, with soft pink slowly growing across the lower clouds. The winds of change are blowing, bringing a welcome chill after a hot summer. The air, damp with the rising dew, carries a faint smell of woodsmoke. Clover grows up among grasses and roots of the crabapple trees, the fruits rosy and ripe. A barn owl glides low over the field, silent and watchful, whilst a robin trills gently nearby. I sit quietly as the night begins to settle, awaiting the new season eagerly.

Suddenly a strange person in black clothing and a metal skull mask appeared. Scared you accidentally drove off the road. When you woke you've noticed you brothers house. It's the same but it looks run down. Getting away from the fiery car you entered the unnoticeable pathway and entered the place. Suddenly you walked around and saw it is abandoned but it also contained odd experiments that were themed in different parts of the house. A strange mirror shows you text that said what happened here and the main hall is a safe spot. Can you survive The Blood Baron's Lair and escape with your life and your brother?"

This Speaks To Me
I love the witching hours. Especially around 3am. Everything is so quiet outside. On occasion weather depending, gazing at the moon when it starts to lower. For me on Halloween, I would always turn off my outside lights for a few moments,go outside and walk around my yard around 3am till about 4:30 or so. I find it to be extremely quiet and a sense that you're being watched but not in a bad way. It's like you become more sensitive to the energy and with nature. Am I the only one who feels this way? Lol

I do this/did this as a kid on Christmas eve really late at night I'd look out of my bedroom window and feel happy that loads of other kids were soon going to be waking up and having quality family time and getting presents etc. Not exactly the same

WoW! I loved this so much. From the falling autumn leaves to the puddles dancing from rain in the dirt road, the rolling mist, the lighting flashing in the sky, and especially the apparition walking to and fro behind the old house. Evetime, I saw the leaves stop falling I would zoom in to see what the apparition was going to do next. All I could see him doing was walking back and forth behind the house. Was there anything else ghostly happening I might have missed?

haunting adeline vibes
I played this video to study, you know, with the music and the rain at the background, and then at some point I look up at the screen - and see that figure going to the forest from or behind the house. It was breathtaking, honestly, I couldn't get my eyes off that person. Who was he and why was he walking in and out the house?
Maybe he was the owner of the house, who died. He lived a peaceful life, and his soul never wanted to leave that peace behind, so it stayed it the house. And every once in a while it takes a midday stroll to the forest.
Or maybe he was not a very pleasant man. Someone broke his heart, he'd lost everything he had, but didn't move out of the house, as if the memories it had bound him to that place. So he kept living there, for each day to drown him in memories and each night to embrace him in it's indifference. And so that was him walking - so numb with pain that became quite usual that he no longer cares about anything. The rain falls onto him, it's cold and unpleasant, but he can't be bothered anymore by such little details. He isn't scared of being alone in the middle of the forest, the thunder isn't intimidating anymore, the lonelyness became a part of him. He walks slowly without any haste because he doesn't care if it's rainy or not. It all just became numb in his heart. So he keeps living there. And walking. Pacing around the house. Without realizing he's slowly turning into a ghost himself.

I live in North Dakota and there are plenty old farm houses that give this same haunted vibe. You would not think that rolling grasslands would lend to ghosts but there are plenty! Some have even come into my home and turned off a cooking timer right in front of me. Over the years some have actually talked to me and called out my give name. I love this ambiance and the music - I will not though have to wait for Halloween for spooks to talk to me - just waiting for the next encounter with one.

I literally have dreams of my Dr & I, whom I'm terribly in love with so much that it hurts. Spending a long weekend to a perfect house such as this one in the video. Embracing one another in each other's arm's, passionately kissing. You have the feeling of euphoria, passion, & love flowing through your inner soul. A dream that I hope will come true.

To look ahead is slightly of comfort as a homeless who desires shelter. I ponder therefore will the elements behind or the shelter ahead. I walk ahead therefore and a shiver comes over me as the unknown is acknowledged. Death is behind as the prowlers come out in the night skies but possible death is ahead. Though the possibility of safety also lies ahead. My steps are stiff as the cruelty of the unknown is before me. Therefore beloved the options have been weighed and the choice is at hand.

I see myself, a weary traveler riding half asleep on her mare. Both I and my beast are tired, wet, and in desperate need of shelter from the cold, rainy, autumn night. Suddenly, a crow flies so close to me that I almost fall off my ride. For the first time all day, I am alert and see the house that Poe built. Perchance, could that be Poeโs restless soul pacing in the background looking for his Lenore. I am drawn to this melancholy home, even though I know intense dark emotions live here. As I draw closer, a strong wind blows past me and whispers โdo not dareโ. I look around for that voice and begin to hear a thumpingโฆ.no! a heart beat. It sounds like it is coming from the house. I sense someone is staring at me and catch the ghostly image of an old man with a pale blue eye looking through a window. A chill runs through me as I see him fade to black. What is this place I wonder? So beautiful, yet so haunted. Everyone of my senses are in overdrive as my mind tries to rationalize what I just experienced. Still on my horse, I walk to the back of the house and see a gentleman kneeling beside a single grave. He is wearing a top hat and long, black coat. It is clear to me this man is from another time. He is very sad and weeping. As his tears fall to the ground, a raven swoops down and rests upon his shoulder. The raven appears to be whispering something in his ear. I wonder what it is saying to him. Then suddenly, the man feels my presence. He stands up and begins to walk towards me. I can see his tortured thin face and dark, sad eyes. I ask him if he is ok. He reaches up towards me, shakes his head and says โNevermore!โ

Who says this mansion is haunted. The music speaks to me of a sad love story that happened long ago. Rooms filled with happy memories, but tears too. I don't see or feel it as foreboding. I feel grief, but still....hope.
