The first mention of a materialist philosophy, mind you, is Mark 12:18; Jesus identifying the Sadducee sect as believing in no hereafter at all. *All materialist philosophies derive from that same group, naturally. Surprising, given that the monotheistic God declares to be the Beginning and End, as well as being the same yesterday, today, and forever… is that not temporal enough?
