    Good old days of 2006. Pre Obama, pre Georgia War, pre covid, pre Ukraine War and seizure of Crimea, and definitely pre Biden.

    The "streak of creativity" George F. Shultz brings up refers to works that predate the Soviets (i.e. safely distant ones.) More current Soviet writers and artists that deviated from state propaganda were "silenced" in various ways.
