Well, I'm sure people know that you might not want to drink more fluids in the afternoon or evening but I'm sure plenty of people out there on lithium, like myself, drink a ton of water all throughout the day and night because I am that THIRSTY. Has nothing to do with a lack of common sense but rather fulfilling that need.
Exactly, not only that, we are literally told by our doctors to DRINK MORE and more often to avoid lithium-induced dehydration... so no it's not really all that "common sense". Especially given that I (like a lot of people) probably don't have the habit of drinking enough in general, so making a conscious effort to hydrate is usually an improvement from that. Plus before lithium, I used to drink commonly drink some water before going to sleep and never had to wake up to pee in the middle of the night, I just went normally in the morning like most people Now I'm literally woken up by a full/painful bladder to pee which also disrupts my sleep... so yeah I've been trying to drink less water in the evening BECAUSE of that but I don't see it as a good thing 🤷♂ idk feels like forcing dehydration to just to prevent polyuria. My GFR and kidney tests are still perfect so I don't think it's nephrogenic diabetes insipidus but who knows
How do I get the full lecture ?
