My son just bought a red Mk1 from South of London on Thursday morning and drove it back to central Scotland on the way we encountered two others one a Mk2 and another Mk1 both red. Maybe some day he will also be turning up to shows with his one.
Great gathering! Grouping by color is very interesting, when I see all those orange cars I think that if I had one I'd put the logo of my local electric co-op on the side, their vehicles are also orange. My '16 MX-5 is plain white, it's an early car, I bought it in October of 2015, it has 104,000 miles on it. The only modification is Wilwood brakes front and rear, the original rear calipers froze up from winter salt here in New Hampshire, USA.
