    ... you dont really have to remove the wheel. Take the bottom screws out and you can easily wiggle the clamps out without taking anything apart.

    it's been 2 years I didn't played any simulation game like asseto/ETS2 etc.. now I got my clamps and ready for burn the tires ! btw thanks for that short tuto

      Comment above says there's no reason to do this----you can replace the clamps from the bottom.

    Finally got round to removing the clamps off my g25, so it fits on my playseat more comfortably. I did take the whole thing apart as per the vid. Not too bad. Also packed out the holes with a bit of cardboard so I could keep the clamp top bits in.
    Oh and thank god for Drive Hub, I can use all my old wheel pedals etc. on the PS4

      havent had that yet but I can image you break m. Never use tools on them though. I think they are meant to be the weakest part so you dont destroy any more valuable parts inside when you go full hulk-mode on the fasteners.

    My first clamps broke 2 weeks after i got it. Replaced them, then they broke again. I’ve been ducktapinh the wheel to the table for the past two years nad it works far better than the plastic clamps that come with the wheel

    right so i gues i need to break mine than, i ve got a set up that wheel is screwed to the frame and i do not need them clamps, just was hoping there is a way to take them off without takin wheel apart

    would the 2 mounting holes with 2 bolts be strong enough to keep the whole thing in place?
    Too bad there arent 4 mounting holes on my g29.

      I noticed the tilt and im using both clamps and bolts now. Was hoping the clamps wouldnt be needed cuz people have knees.

      steering wheel gets in the way when you're removing the case, that's why
