Finally got round to removing the clamps off my g25, so it fits on my playseat more comfortably. I did take the whole thing apart as per the vid. Not too bad. Also packed out the holes with a bit of cardboard so I could keep the clamp top bits in. Oh and thank god for Drive Hub, I can use all my old wheel pedals etc. on the PS4
havent had that yet but I can image you break m. Never use tools on them though. I think they are meant to be the weakest part so you dont destroy any more valuable parts inside when you go full hulk-mode on the fasteners.
My first clamps broke 2 weeks after i got it. Replaced them, then they broke again. I’ve been ducktapinh the wheel to the table for the past two years nad it works far better than the plastic clamps that come with the wheel
right so i gues i need to break mine than, i ve got a set up that wheel is screwed to the frame and i do not need them clamps, just was hoping there is a way to take them off without takin wheel apart

@@3DRapSimRacing I fixed the clamps then one part fell out turned out to be where the steering wheel part that stops the wheel from turning all the way

... you dont really have to remove the wheel. Take the bottom screws out and you can easily wiggle the clamps out without taking anything apart.

Comment above says there's no reason to do this----you can replace the clamps from the bottom.

I'm a mechanic so i watch tons of tutorial videos but boy i wish everyone made them as short and sweet at this.
