We wanted to create a feel-good video where we also gave back to the community so we gave construction workers in New York free coffee in the freezing cold arctic bitter blast of 2023. We have done similar videos before where we gave back to the community and we always try to give back and do random acts of kindness as often as we can. I was working in the cold. A woman came to me and gavr me some hot coffee. I will never forget this human gesture. There are good people left

Construction workers don’t get the respect they deserve. They’re the backbone of this country
Not only the backbone, but the whole bone if the body, without them everything will collapse
The problem is Gen z are completely obsessed with respect/wholesome, they do a Job And get paid adequately, they really don't need "RETHSPECTT" from some youngsters

i definitely agree but if we are being honest, virtually no one grows up wanting to be a construction worker hence why it is not respected......I think this clip is a good example of how we should respect others regardless of who they are.
My crew and I were working out of town a few years ago. We were doing some underground utilities work under a parking lot behind a tiny strip mall. The owner of one of the stores bought us coffee and donuts. It’s been 6 years and whenever I’m in town I still visit that man at his shop. Bless him and bless folks like this.

As a utility worker yall have no idea how a small coffee is such a huge gesture of kindness.
This makes me so happy! I used to take up my husband stuff before he owned his own business (still hard outdoor labor- chimney and masonry- but he is no longer working for the man... he IS the man :) ) ....Anyway, if I took him up something I ALWAYS asked who was there or how many... and sometimes instead of individual cups, I would just buy that big to go pot thing and buy some bfast wraps or bagels... they were always so appreciative and happy after that! Gave em a little energy too I think! Makes for a productive day when you know u are appreciated and someone cares and sees and notices what u guys do out there everyday for us! Working hard! Thank you! And I really hope and pray someone brings you a coffee on the job 1 day! You deserve it! Be well now! Jesus loves you! Thanks for all u do! You LITERALLY help the world go round and people take things for granted and forget sometimes... so I apologize on their behalf! You are seen! Great Job out there!
*let me add to my already long post- I take him something still from time to time just because I want too..... but I dont need to! I trained him well hahaha! He realizes how much that meant and he takes good care of his guys! We really are blessed and doing fine but we aren't big yet- but he still provides for them on cold days- drinks, food, hot hands too! Buys them nice coats and boots- it's their Christmas gift but he gives it to them when it starts getting cold out. :) we gota do what we can for each other! Sorry for this long post! Be well now

As a roofer I’ve met some amazing homeowners, one time this couple cooked a feast for our crew after finishing their house, another time a guy gave the crew a joint and a beer each. That was years ago but it made me realize how an act of generosity and gratitude can stay with someone forever

I was working parking in the back lot where not many people came at a music festival last year and it was freezing cold even through all my layers. I literally wanted to quit because I could hear everybody having fun and I actually had a couple groups of people bring me coffee and snacks and then I had one couple bring me a space heater. I almost cried.

I'm a mechanic, we have about 5 regular customers that come in a couple times a week and they always bring food or drinks in the morning! Let me tell you, it really makes our day like you can turn a frown upside down with a breakfast burrito like a miracle🤣🤣🤣
I Lay asphalt and the kindest gesture is a simple drink. Wether it's hot or cold doesn't matter. It's the fact you took the time out of your day to appreciate the workers. You get a very much deserved THANK YOU!!
I know eh. Sometimes it's just the best thing to get a coffee and take 2 minutes to drink it and say thanks. Construction is a hard job.

I was working at chick fil a out in the freezing weather by myself and a guy asked if I had hand warmers and when I said no he went and bought me some and ran through the drive thru to give them to me, I’ll never forget it. Love you buddy ❤️✊🏽

I gave the four bin men who collect our refuse glasses of orange juice rammed full of ice on one of the hottest days of the year in 2022. It was 37-38c and the look of gratitude and relief on their faces was great. Small things like this cost very little but can have a huge impact on people. Stay blessed and look after your fellow humans. ✌️

Thank you my father is a construction worker and is overlooked everyday by people who see him. Always providing working ten hour shifts driving two hours to get to work and another two back to only receive his family’s smile an safety in return . Glad strangers appreciate the hard work these men do. Working In construction takes a Rare breed.

Worked in a kitchen for a long time, this guy came in every few months with a couple beers for the kitchen staff, said he knew we were often overlooked. A truly amazing guy. Thanks again Ted :)

Respect brother. 😢It hurts sometimes because it seems nobody respects us. We wake up and go to work before the sun comes up and we are home after the sun goes down. We build the environments that you enjoy but we are walked past and looked down on. Thank you for keeping us in mind and doing something to show your appreciation. I was homeless sleeping under an abandoned 18 wheeler trailer on a cold night i was shivering in and out of sleep and in my sleepy daze a kind hearted woman came and covered me with a bright orange blanket I'll never forget that god bless that woman she was an angel to me

Worked with some lineman doing road crew last summer. Insanely hot days I would sometimes see a person go thru the road work zone, just to come back thru later with a cold bottle of water to give us. Humanity is still out there man

Never got given coffee but I’ve had a bunch of people offer me waters over the years, just the fact they bothered to walk out in the heat or cold and offer made me feel pretty good
