Maxon discontinued the students liscences last month. Which was their budget pricing method that allowed people to learn their software. They killed huge part of their following with that. Please tell them to bring them back, they are ruining their own brand. Nobody in developing countries can afford their pricing model. It's ridiculous they are forcing the last devout fans to switch to blender in order to avoid pirate software. It's a shame they are doing this, especially since education does a whole lot to promote their brand. I made 20 students buy their student license at the place where I teach and their licenses are frozen as of last few weeks. It's a shame. Someone tell them to not kill their own brand on a random whim...
