I'm holding out hope that that's a alternate version of Caitlin from a different universe or something like that, I like Caitlin as is, I don't wanna see her become a villain, it'd be cool if we could have both versions of the character at the same time.
She's more so an anti hero. Its a sad story but its part of Caitlin's journey. Can she overcome this horrible event in her life to return to the Caitlin we all know and love? Dani will knock this out the park.

MrOrthiad Normally i'd agree but were dealing with The Flash here, with many different universes with alternate versions of the same character so it works in this instance... what i'm getting tired of is these shows introducing characters we like then turning them evil at some point and for those that don't read comics they'd have No idea that she becomes Killer Frost and that could be a bummer that a character you came to like and appreciate will at some point turn villainous, so in this case I hope it is a different version cause i've come to like Caitlin and don't want to lose that character when Killer Frost appears.

What about this theory.. Haven't there been rumors that Robbie Amells contract will end after this season? He hasn't been cast in LoT but Martin Stein is in it. I'm guessing, Robbie's character dies and Kaitlyn asks Barry to go back in time. He refuses and she turns into killer Frost.

mje319 What if there's a Killer Frost from an AU and finds her way into the big singularity thing and is a villain to Team Flash but we still have our Caitlin Snow? I'd hate to see her turn on Team Flash so I'm hoping Killer Frost is from a different timeline.

Her powers kick in and she has to leave Ronnie because she starts feeding off his body heat and killing him from exposure. Almost losing Ronnie a second time she leaves and tries to cure herself no matter what. Another possibility is when Barry runs into the storm he ends up in a bad future where in his absence things got worse. Still my guess is Killer Frost will have a more tragic origin than rejected lover gone bad which was sadly all too common in the DC silver age
It would be cool if Captain Cold killed Ronnie. And then turned he turned his gun to Caitlin, and she somehow absorbs his cold gun energy using a latent power she got from the particle accelerator but absorbing all of that cold transforms her. And Barry instead of dealing with Cold, turns him over to the masters of time or whatever which Caitlin takes personally. He also won't time travel back to fix it because of the time masters insistence. So Caitlin turns away from Team Flash feeling betrayed.
***** Yeah, Barry would hand him over to the people in Legends of Tomorrow after the Ronnie incident..which would upset Caitlin because she'd want him captured in the particle accelerator or killed.
Or it could be a crossover type thing that happens later who knows, not saying it will happen just that it would be cool to do it that way

This totally cleared up the confusion I was having with killer frost characters. Thanks so much! It would be awesome if you made a video about which comics are in one time line and what all this new 52 stuff is and alternate dimensions. Comics are way more complicated than I thought.

He may have had slowed down and/or taken a break recently (likely because he's running out of legitimately released shitty games from that era), and he's certainly done more videos as himself lately then as the Nerd, but unless he declares it himself it's a little soon to declare AVGN to be cancelled.

I think its proven that cailtyn snow of earth 2 is killer frost. if you noticed when wells outed cisco as a metahuman, his detector didn't work on dr snow, hence earth 2 Caitlyn is killer frost

Ross Larkins Likewise. I think our Caitlin will remain as she's a popular character, but then since she's a meta it's tempting to make her KF. I think it would be awesome to have an alternate KF vs our KF duke it out (maybe while Barry is away doing LoT stuff?) I mean if Vandal Savage is coming, and lots of factions working to stop him, makes sense to have another offensive Meta on Team Flash right? Proto-Justice Society as well.

Here's an idea. What if the Killer Frost version of Ms Snow is from an alternative reality where it was her who went into S.T.A.R. lab's particle accelerator instead of Ronnie? So the same thing that changed Ronnie into Firestorm, in an alternative reality changed Caitlin into Killer Frost?

Do we know for sure Caitlyn is a Meta Human already? I know we know Cisco is but I don't remember there being any confirmation that she is. I mean I know we see her as Killer Frost but that doesn't mean she's a meta human right now. We learned in the Arrow crossover that it's possible to become a meta human without the particle accelerator. I'm not saying she isn't or anything, just that I don't think we know for sure. Unless I missed something that somebody could let me know.

+jackimusprime I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm positive they didn't say she was a metahuman. Plus it would kinda be a bit of a cheat if the writers said: 'Surprise, both Cisco AND Caitlin have powers that haven't yet surfaced even though all of the other metahumans' we've met have!'
Personally I'd be disappointed if they did that; I will buy the Cisco powers story but if they carbon copy it for Caitlin too then that's kinda just lazy. I think they're going to go for the lab accident story line or something like that for her character.

+jackimusprime you are right about one thing: we have no clue if Caitlyn really is a meta. She could be, but they haven't shown any proof that she is one yet. SO I do agree with you on that
