Sam Azmi It would've been kind of cool but probably more than a bit confusing for people who don't know all the details. I get a feeling that Jay Garrick and Earth 2 will be confusing enough to the uninitiated viewer without adding that little wrinkle.
Still the origin could've been a bit cleaner by saying his father experienced an accident years ago that made him the Flash. Then again that would require a name change given that his name isn't Jay Garrick.
With Arrow being about physical strength and willpower, and Flash being all about science, a third show dealing with magic would create an interesting triangle.

I know. That was my point. They should purchase Constantine and do a show focused on the magical aspects of the DC universe.

I am so happy that Constatine is coming to Arrow. I was very sad when it got canceled. I love that show and it was awesome. I recommend you to watch it so that you can get an idea of how the character is like.
I knew it since the first 2 episodes. He lacked impact. Like keanu awesome (bad adaptation to a movie though but great characterization). In the comics constantine is miserable. In the series he's just a pompous house md.
Brian Caniamaso I haven't read many comics with Constantine, so I don't know about that, but I'm planning to read them, so I can get a better feel of the character. But, from the comics that I've read, I could see some similarities between the TV series version and the comic version. For example, the way John talks.

DuShawn Mickens So you say but you are not the producer. Neither am I but personally I will advertice the hell out of this episode. Hopefully it will become a series high for Arrow and by far at that. If it does happen, there is no doubt in my mind the producers would like to use him at least in small doses across their shared universe, if only as an ally and consultant to have on speed dial when Team Arrow, Team Flash and/or Team Legends encounter a supernatural case that is simply out of their depth.

+Emergency Awesome - another good video. I can't wait to check out Vixen when it debuts. so far from what I've learbed, she seems to be pretty intriguing. also, I like how the CW went the AMC route with doing a 6 episode season for a new show before heading into the main one (Fear the Walking Dead/The Walking Dead). It's a great method of drawing jn new fans and then keeping them in for the returning awesomeness. Again, great video!
fobudomh Had Constantine not crossed over, they would have had a much harder time justifying Sara's resurrection after such a long time period. Being that Constantine traffics frequently with the dead, it's only natural they'd use him for a mega huge plot point.
They should add Matt Ryans character to Legends of Tomorrow. While he might not be part of the team, it would be a great way to keep him in the universe.
Constantine was a great show ... so sad it only last one session :-( would be great to see constantine on the Flash
So disappointed that Constantine didn't get a second season! It was sooooo good in my eyes, like a darker supernatural (season 1-5).

+Eli Arychuk if you like supernatural then you will love Constantine. Supernatural seasons 1 - 5, in my opinion, was the best seasons because of how dark it is and how well the story was written. It's dark, twisted, funny, and simply amazing. It just hits all those check marks I loved in the first five seasons of supernatural.

I think I'll watch it then. Because I am on the fifth season of supernatural and it is amazing now. Once Castiel appeared I started to love the show. But the first three seasons weren't anything special in my opinion.

I am SOOO pumped that Constantine is on Arrow! I was so upset and disappointed when Constantine was cancelled because Matt Ryan is *incredibly perfect* for the role (bringing so much life, charisma, soul, and darkness to it) and him not being able to continue on was a tragedy. I am BEYOND happy to see him play Constantine officially again, even if it is for this one Arrow arch. I really hope he shows up more in the future, but just knowing that he exists in the Arrow/Flash universe canonically is great.
I loved the Constantine t.v show it was the first DC show I ever watched and it maintained the bar for arrow and flash to surpass for me

Constantine performing the resurrection makes so much sense. It has to be a very dangerous thing to do and John is just the right kind of crazy to do it.

***** agreed I don't agree when people say that it was absolutely terrible or that it ruined the show, but it definitely was the weakest season of the show. I was also not a big fan of Olicity, for the simple fact that they kind of ruined Felicity's character by getting rid of her entertaining commentary and replacing it with a lot of crying, but it definitely had some really great moments. Sara's death still pisses me off to this day, because it was the FIRST DAMN EPISODE and they killed her off, and it was just so Laurel could take her place, and in the end Laurel's turning into Black Canary was pretty rushed. Still her death just broke me lol.
Little bits of my heart came back together with the news of any amount of Constantine returning. Huzzah!
Constantine is a brill character, I was disappointed that the show got canned so this is great news that he's going to be back on screen in an already amazing set of shows which are getting bigger and better over time. This is literally my nerd dreams coming true lol.
I'm really happy, I thoroughly enjoyed Constantine :) Although I'm afraid the version we'll see on Arrow will be even more "censored"...
Awesome that Constantine will appear on Arrow. I'm not a big fan of the super natural magic stuff normally but Constantine was very well written and acting was great hope the show can make a comeback with the help of Arrow.
I'm very happy they are bringing Constantine to Arrow. Short of continuing a series, this is a great way to not lose a character that many of us enjoy.

this is bitter sweet for me, i really love Matt Ryan as Constantine and i was hoping since there was no formal connections to the arrow TV universe they could use him in the JLD movie and DCEU. none the less I'm still happy to see some Constantine.
i loved Constantine, i think this is an awesome move to bring him over.. and i cant wait to see how he reacts to meeting the flash, or how the flash will react to some of his tricks :D
loved Matt Ryan as Constantine. wasn't sure that the accent would work with an American audience though. glad to see he's been 'resurrected'.

Constantine had problems, but I generally liked it, so was bummed it didn't get a chance to get better. I am glad we're getting some more of the character Constantine.

I would still rather see Cote de Pablo as Lady Shiva over all of this nonsense. Not only would she fit in perfectly on Arrow, she could crossover to The Flash. Think about it: Shiva is able to predict people's moves. The Flash has super speed. It would be the ultimate "something's gotta give" fight.
Glad to see Constantine getting a run on Arrow and believe he deserves to continue his series. To be done right though, Constantine needs to be on cable as the character is too dark for network TV. Matt Ryan is excellent in the role as was Harold Perrineau as Manny. It's my belief the executives should be ventilated with arrows until they agree to produce a satisfactory conclusion to the season 1 cliffhanger.

Hey Charlie, I was at the Connecticut ComicCon and John Wesley Shipp and he hinted at the writers from the 90's Flash TV show might help write an episode in Season 2. He also confirmed that Daniella Panabaker WILL be Killer Frost this season although he did not say how. Hope you use this news!

Morning Charlie! sorry I'm late. having Constantine on Arrow would be perfect to set up White Canary's return on Legends of Tomorrow and future projects.
I'm hopeful that with Constantine on Arrow we may eventually get our Season 2.
I know this may be false hope, but in the words of the Blue Lanterns "Look to the stars, for hope burns bright!"
It's great to see Constantine back but I still think they missed a beat when the show was cancelled. The potential is still there. I see Constantine very much in the style of Daredevil if it was to come back. It needed to be much more gritty in both story telling and visual style (just like Deadpool looks like its gonna be). My apologies to the young but it needs to be very much an adult rendering of the story. Cheers Charlie keep up the good work ! :)

Introducing Abra Kadabra on the Flash would be a cool way to bring in Constantine. Team Flash, at this point, would be helpless against magic.

Leave it to Arrow to have me be excited in an actor/series that I previously had no interest in.. I might actually go back and watch the entire series thanks to Arrow.. I also love your videos, it helps clear me up on things I may have missed or not understood very well..
