How to Insert a Nuts Into 3D Printing (and other)

In all the videos, they advise inserting special nuts into 3D printing using a thermal method. I propose my own method - insert regular nuts during 3D printing.

Tip: When you are slicing, you can pause the printing, move the nose to a desired point (out of the piece to avoid those blobs), and wait for the user to continue printing through the screen of the printer. This way, you don't need to babysitting the printer. When you see that the printer stopped, you insert the nut, remove the leaked filament, and tell continuing printing, so it will heat the extruder once again and restart the printing from where it stopped.

​@@grain8314 Some slicers make it even easier, like the Post Processing Plugin from Ultimaker Cura (the one I most use), where you can simply define the height, and fine tune the layer thickness at will without worrying about the number of the layer the pause must happen. I invite people to check if there is a similar Plugin or function in their slicers. I hope this helps.😊

А не проще делать сразу две детали - основную и заглушку в виде шайбы или другой формы что бы вклеить на дихлорэтан после печать и не следить за процессом?

Можно, но это не спортиво да и не та эстетитка, и другая работа после печати. В общем, каждому свое. А чтоб не следить за процессом надо просто в код файла печати паузу вставить вручную. Но мне лень было изучать, я не так часто гайки вставляю да и вообще на 3Д принтере печатаю.
