I hope they change her passives a bit where she doesnt need another Geo in the party to have two puppets. That way she can be used in more teams other than mono geo
She needs a geo construct ,so navia, noelle won't work well with her so far unless u get her c1 but even then u still won't get 3 poppets since her passive requires a geo construct to make 2 ,
They can give her 2 charges with C1 or even better: - Change her skill to be like Nilou with 3 Charges and special moves (If you press Skill or ATK button). 1 : Place a Doll. 2 : - If you press Skill, place another doll. - CHARGE ATK will consume 1 charge and activate GEO infusion for normal attacks for 5s. 3: - If you press Skill, chiori will switch to the next party member and activate the Tapestry buffs. - CHARGE ATK will consume 1 charge and activate GEO infusion for normal attacks for 5s. WAYYY better than the JUMP to switch. She will be very fun to play.
18% dps increase on a sub dps like chiori is something that can be not worth it depending on the type of player you are. But a 18% dmg increase on your dps is huge. Just wanted to say that.

Since they are the same element, I don't think they would share a banner. If anything, Chiori will be Phase 1 and Itto Phase 2. As a Geo lover I feel your pain. I want Itto's Claymore so bad. Lol.
Nahh man, I'm still alive since 1.4, I once pressure my Ningguang to carry me in my early days cause I'm once stupid to understand elemental reactions and find it funny a rich lady do the most caveman tactics is that of throwing rocks until they dead, and now 4.4, I always rock her with Navia, and now with Chiori, I can see this as an absolute win in my book.

If they don't work then I might spend a tiny bit to get her. No way am I getting C6 Faruzan and not getting Xianyun. I want to pair them both with Xiao for that busted amount of damage. Lol.
Wouldn't mistsplitter be better if you planned on-fielding her? Along with an attack sands since her normals have attack scaling. Would take a hit to her skill damage but I feel like a duo with her and Albedo might be kind of interesting. Duos like Yelan Xingqiu, Xiangling and Bennett (even with pyro infusion with like an attack or defense goblet), Furina Kokomi maybe.

@@Blackoutdmc Every character requires C6/R5 to get full value, tis the nature of gacha. Chiori isn't sub-optimal with Noelle though, in the Furina team she can be better than Albedo against bosses, and in the Geo only team she's a big buff to it and has Albedo giving her a construct.

Chiori doesn't offer anything to the team. Even on the Itto team, she's just a linesman, just like Albedo. Itto needs a character that deals geo damage, reduces geo resistance, and gives flat bano to charged attacks. Basically a Shenhe of geo. A character like Chiori who only deals damage quickly becomes obsolete, as does Albedo. For a character to be relevant forever, they need to add more than just damage.

without zhongli you can’t get gel resonance and even if it is better in term of dps playing without a sustain isn’t that easy ( and if you’d be interrupted you gonna lose damage anyways)

The only forms of IR that can fully protect you from being interrupted are either complete IR like Raiden burst or stacking a lot of it through différente sources( beidou burst+ XQ E, dehya E+ her passive….). About the healing I don’t remember saying that going without sustain is impossible but just that if you are the type of player that can go without it gorou’s healing won’t do much for you and if you can’t gorou’s healing alone won’t save you because it is very negligeable. Your 2 examples here follow what I want to point. Keq/Yae aggravate play without a healer in the most potent variant in term of damage since losing one of the slots means an important dps loss, add to that the fact that it’s a quickswap team which mean that theoretically the damage you take will be shared with all of the team meaning that one character will take less damage in an average than a Hyper Carry like itto who is 70% of the rotation onfield et thus most of the damage you take will be on him(and even if itto has naturally a good defense stat his burst reduce his resistances ) , we can also take into consideration that those team can use E-frames to avoid taking hits if you can play well. And people who can’t play those teams without a healer either slot Yao Yao over nahida or zhongli over kazuha and the team is still extremely good although less effective. Sucrose taser have the combination of both XQ and beidou damage reduction which due to the formula that calculate the dmg reduction mean literally your characters have 4 or 5 times more Hp than he actually has( I’m not even exaggerating), you combine that with the stagger you get via electro charge+ beidou and xq and the latter small healing you have basically the same survavibilty as a team with a healer/zhobgli if not more
Noelle/Gorou/Albedo/Furina is already an uber good team as is, Chiori is definitely a luxury pull unless you want to hyperinvest. She can flex into Albedo's spot to make the team a lil better against bosses/shields, and she buffs Noelle's Geo only team a good bit (tho Furina variant will still be better). Still the best reason to pull on her banner will be if your Gorou isn't C6 yet.
And all the other five star weapons in the chart that outperform HoD. And of course, plenty more weapons will be better than HoD if you are using Furina on the team.
Guys I tried to get Xianyun but lost the 50/50, now I did 40 more pulls and here I am, thinking if she really worths nearly 160 pulls? I have almost every character and I have been 36ing the abyss from 1.6(I am a 1.3 player) Do you guys think if she is worth that many wishes? I know she enables plunge and with her, furina and bennet you can make nearly any character a carry good enough to clear abyss. But in the end it is just plunging and vaporizing with a pyro character or a hydro character by fully utilizing her kit. My question is this: Is Xianyun worth 160 pulls for someone like me or should I go for Arlechino who will probably be a quite good character and make overload meta with Clorinde.(based on the leaks so far I know things can change but I am sure they won't make Arlechino weak and Dehya 2.0)
You can already 36 star the Abyss, and with how long you've been doing it, coupled with having almost every other character, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to continue to do so. Therefore, the value of any new character you don't have yet is entirely based upon how much enjoyment you'll get from them. And that's purely subjective.

But the problem is sometimes I pulled characters just because at that time I wanted them and after few weeks later I've benched them and never used them. For example: Itto. The problem with meta-wise not that strong characters or characters that needs heavy investment is that they got easily benched after short amounts of time. I know Xianyun is a suppert and her value is much more higher than your average DPS but still if Arlechino will be Neuvillette level or close I would want to get her but I am not sure. Well as the other person said pull value is really only relevant for people who can't consistently 36* yet, if you can already then there's no unit more "worth" it than another unless u care about speedrunning, comfort, your favorite characters, or some other metric. If your problem is pulling for a character and never using them again maybe test them out in their trials a good while before you decide to pull, or check what kind of playstyles you already like and pull based on that
The problem is… will Hoyoverse fix the casting collision issues of Geo Constructs? I bet they won’t even bother. Classic Hoyoverse. Hoyoverse’s way is providing solutions around the problem, but never fixing the problem itself.
I got Navia and Albedo C1R5 but no Itto so Chiori is a skip for me. I think with Chiori's C1, HYV is more likely to loose money than if they didn't lock her out of Navia comp with a con. I wouldn't go for a C1R1 Geo character, especially not in this economy. I think Chiori is one of the worst 5* character kit design so far. Even Dehya have better kit, its just her numbers were over balanced.

Guys I tried to get Xianyun but lost the 50/50, now I did 40 more pulls and here I am, thinking if she really worths nearly 160 pulls? I have almost every character and I have been 36ing the abyss from 1.6(I am a 1.3 player)
Do you guys think if she is worth that many wishes? I know she enables plunge and with her, furina and bennet you can make nearly any character a carry good enough to clear abyss. But in the end it is just plunging and vaporizing with a pyro character or a hydro character by fully utilizing her kit.
My question is this: Is Xianyun worth 160 pulls for someone like me or should I go for Arlechino who will probably be a quite good character and make overload meta with Clorinde.(based on the leaks so far I know things can change but I am sure they won't make Arlechino weak and Dehya 2.0)
You can already 36 star the Abyss, and with how long you've been doing it, coupled with having almost every other character, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to continue to do so.
Therefore, the value of any new character you don't have yet is entirely based upon how much enjoyment you'll get from them. And that's purely subjective.
Thanks for the answer, I totally agree with you! But the problem is sometimes I pulled characters just because at that time I wanted them and after few weeks later I've benched them and never used them. For example: Itto.
The problem with meta-wise not that strong characters or characters that needs heavy investment is that they got easily benched after short amounts of time.
I know Xianyun is a suppert and her value is much more higher than your average DPS but still if Arlechino will be Neuvillette level or close I would want to get her but I am not sure. Anyway thanks for the answer! Have a great day!
Well as the other person said pull value is really only relevant for people who can't consistently 36* yet, if you can already then there's no unit more "worth" it than another unless u care about speedrunning, comfort, your favorite characters, or some other metric. If your problem is pulling for a character and never using them again maybe test them out in their trials a good while before you decide to pull, or check what kind of playstyles you already like and pull based on that

Furina is Noelle's best teammate so I think you should care, but Chiori does notably buff her Geo only team with Albedo/Gorou.

I got Navia and Albedo C1R5 but no Itto so Chiori is a skip for me. I think with Chiori's C1, HYV is more likely to loose money than if they didn't lock her out of Navia comp with a con. I wouldn't go for a C1R1 Geo character, especially not in this economy. I think Chiori is one of the worst 5* character kit design so far. Even Dehya have better kit, its just her numbers were over balanced.
