C1 also works with Noelle. The split scaling makes getting attack or defense on substats acceptable, so probably easier to farm decent artifacts.

idk man, i feel like hoyo does geo dirty. her kit isnt synergistic at all aside from "needing geo constructs". she feels very unsatisfying to use and her numbers, while they are helpful in a mono geo team, it doesnt fix much. her design is very very good, but gameplay wise she is very lackluster. and cmon, a burst that does dmg equivalent to 2 ticks of her E. couldve at least added some non-dmg value like a buff to party or smth. very plain and uninteresting, and from an itto main, i dont even know why i waited this long for chiori
I’ve been so uninterested by the Chiori videos. Like Albedo has existed for years now and I’m essentially just watching an Albedo guide with a skin. Nothing about her is virtually any different and it’s so…nothing. She’s not bad, her kit design is just so blatantly redundant and unoriginal.
@@kale1287 i agree. i farmed for chiori because i was excited to get her. now at least i get to cut my losses and pull for more interesting and better thought out characters. hoyo is trash for this. i mean even the C1 was such a scummy move. no snapshotting and she has split scaling? 🤣 her role as a dedicated off fielder but a possible on field dps just ruined her kit because her power had to be allocated both ways.
tbh it started even with itto. his constellations were pretty ass compared to other character constellations. gorou is less impactful than faruzan in their own teams. navia was great but she isnt even a mono geo character.
The only positive thing I got out of Chiori was the switch mechanic, she can bypass the switch cooldown and make skill into skill combos between characters very fluid. On her though this is practically useless since she has realistically like 4 teammates with zero (meaningful) rotation variety, I'm only hopeful with the prospect of the new mechanic, the only other effects related to switching itself are TTDS, Candace's Burst and every goddamn burst that vanishes if you switch out.

Maybe a character will give a stacking effect after each switch to synergize with quickswap units like Kaeya and Rosaria, and Chiori unfortunately was used to test/introduce this mechanic, like Dehya with damage mitigation Sara/Gorou with niche supporting and Nilou with reaction modification.

It's really satisfying switching into YaeMiko with Chiori, you can just continue hitting skill and you'll have summoned both Chiori's Puppets and YaeMiko's Totems so quickly and start demolishing everything! haha
I'm super excited to pick up Furina during her rerun for a super fun Summoner team. Also finally starting to build my MonoGeo team, I was waiting till I picked up Albedo to start building my Itto/Gorou, but luckily a far more fitting character for what I find fun has come and made Albedo kinda obsolete.
The reason why I pull for Chiori was because I needed a Geo battery for Noelle 🐢

Yeah, kinda defeats the purpose of her being dual swords wielding character just for instantly swapped to the other character.
I was so impressed by her damage I got her to C4R1 and she absolutely rocks.
Her animations for her melee attacks are beautiful... it's tragic that I never see them... ever.

I've been using Chiori in my Noelle team, with sacrificial sword, since the dolls have a smallish range and dont move, is quite nice to reposition them

I tried the noelle albedo furina chiori. I don't rly advise ppl running gorou without c6 but it can work just harder.
I will go for C6 and make her use the Traveler's Handy Sword.
I somehow came up with team: chioir, ningyang, furina and c4 heal gorou. Suprisingly this team hits hard

My fave team for off-field Chiori is Chiori, Navia, Xianyun, and Furina.
I think its important to note that c0 chiori is still one of navias best teammates. The benefit from even just 1 doll is more than both albedo or zhongli, and its very comfy in terms of getting enough crystallize stacks and geo resonance
She's an improvement DESPITE not having kit synergy, not because she's actually good for Navia teams.
Chiori barely "wins" only because Navia's geo teammate options are subpar to begin with.
Mihoyo locking *proper* Chiori synergy behind C1 is a new low for them.

Nah after using Navia with Xianyun and Furina I can't go back to non-plunging Navia. The damage output with these two is insane.

I have a question about the rotations and mist splitter at high refinement, do you think at any point its better to go for the geo infusion if you have say an R3-R5 mistsplitter and at what point would it be relative to the EE combo? (if any)
I needed two constelations to c6 gorou and on my first ten pull I got lucky and got one gorou and on top of that a chiori. unfortunatly the second gorou was another 40 pulls away.

there's actually 2 other choice's that you can use which is 4 piece Nobless and 4 Piece Tenacity.
Since chiori's E Skill With Geo Construct Can Easily Maintain Tenacity Buff While Nobless Could Work If there is already A User Who's Using Tenacity , Now How does This Information Help ? Well if you happend to have C1 this Can help With Navia Team's Damage While In Itto Teams You could Make His CA Give's out more damage ... Now this Kind Of Build Will Fall Short in terms of personal dmg Compare them to Golden troupe, but it can Be A Good Support For your Units Other than Chiori who are More Invested While you Can Farm For golden troupe ... Using Nobless Also Force's you to use Favonius Which Can Indirectly Battery Your Team, which is a nice bonus ... But Dont worry Her Dmg Is still significant Enough Since You Have Bennet / Gorou / Furina In your Team ~
Hope This Helps Make Chiori More flexible Since at the end of the day she's Just A Sub Dps With no support Capability But This Can Help her Fit into Many Teams As A More better Albedo ~

How much attack is a good breakpoint for Chiori? Mine has 2k attack and 2k defense using Mistsplitter until I have a better option
I got her accidentally just before soft pity and won my 50/50 yet again. 😅 was going for gorou a copy of gorou. I want albedo more still but he too exspensive. Is there a way to invest in her without harbringer? I was thinking lions roar but I guess it depends what team she is on.

While it may feel that there are missing pieces for many of these teams to feel optimal - keep in mind that we have to start somewhere.
IF they actually do keep releasing more geo units with interesting construct mechanics - Chiori and the geo element in general will start to feel more and more coherent and complete.
Imagine a Geo character that makes a construct that gives team wide healing. Suddenly the triple geo team - Navia, Chiori, Geo-healer and Furina, will feel extremely cohesive and complete.
Now - imagine a Geo character that, just like Navia, is a semi-on-field character. Now you can play something like Navia and this new character with Bennett+Xiangling/PHEC character.
There are still a lot of directions we can go with the geo. A slight rework of the geo element/geo resonance where the presence of multiple Geo constructs can cause them to resonate with each other, or strengthen them or something like that, could be an interesting change. They could even do more with crystallize - like Navia - and make crystallize shields scale with the defense stat of the character that has the highest defense in your team, when you have geo resonance active.
They've changed hydro resonance before to positive effects - so let's hope they do something with their new characters and potential changes to make geo great.
Except Navia - I have all Geo and my Gorou is only become C4 after all those pulls. I tried many variations in Abyss. But unfortunately geo teams needs vertical investment to 36* abyss. The best team I had was chiori albedo furina xianyun partially due to plunge blessing :(( I will try itto version since u mentioned. Geo’s situation is sad 😭
How cool would if be if there was actual fun and challenging content to use these characters in! Unfortunately there is none. They keep making characters for a game with no gameplay content its insane
what about Chiori using Prototype Rancour? she might be the best character to make use of its effect, even if she doesn't really need physical DMG bonus

I was thinking the same thing when thinking on weapon options in case I win the 50/50. The substat is useless, but that ATK and DEF passive feels like could work well with Chori's scaling.
Mann i only found 1 person who make a video about Chiori using Prototype Rancour. You will immediately find it when you search for it on UA-cam.
Sadly that person didn't include HoD, i wanna know the difference since HoD doesn't allow player to use Furina in the party. So with Prototype Rancour we can use Chiori & Furina together.
I'm actually hype when i found put that she can infuse her normal attack with geo, so i can actually have a fun gameplay using the basic attack, turn out her infusion duration is next to none and they best way to use her kit is to swap the character and lose the infusion. My personal opinion, her kit is really boring, if her infusion duration is bit longer than she might be fun and you can ignore her swap kit...

I'm currently playing Chiori with Ningguang, Raiden for enemies with Geo res and Jean for the heals. Gotta say, haven't had this much fun with Geo characters in a while.

@@xdoorx Eula was popular at release and meta back then. She has flaws, and more mobile ennemies + ruin monsters with high physical resistance during Inazuma hurt her. But at release she was appreciated. And she still does huge nuke if played in the scénarios she is good in.
Kokomi was with Raiden in 2.1, and was already great
People just waited more tools (like Clam or Shenhe for Ayaka team) to start to change mind. Yae was 2.5 and was good at release, got better and more versatile with dendro.
3.5 dehya is a crash test for an alternative to shield/heal but damage mitigation doesnt work well on genshin. It has nothing to do with being release at à ".5" update. She could have been ".7" and noone would have call .7 a curse.
Other characters called mid like Albedo and Ayato arent called .something

While I love me some off-filed dpsers I find her too niche to set up properly.
My currect ultimate AFK team is C2 Furina with HP, C2 Nahida with EM, C2 Deyha with HP/Def and a bit of EM, and C2 Raiden with EM.
You'd be surprised how much damage this team can do when just standing there letting Deyha tank the damage. lol They also span 4 elements so it mostly covers any elemental shields.
If I wanted to fit Chiori in, I'd have to get C1-2 or give up a hero for another geo like Zonghli. It's not worth it. I'm also not a fan of one elemental focused team due to there beign so many elemental shields or resistences.
I get a fully afk dps team isn't what she was made for but that's what I'm trying to build. lol

I already have mono geo team. Itto, Albedo, Gorou, Zhongli. Should I pull for her and bench Albedo? What I hate from albedo is the flower can be destroyed easily.

She can do a good amount of DPS the only problem with it is that it's 16 seconds and you only get a 5 second Geo infusion so. She has great dmg scaling overall. So whats the problem?
i love chiori, she has one of my favourite designs in the game and I pulled for her right away. i have no complaints about her dmg output, she's a respectable off-field DPS. but her kit is a copy+paste of albedo's except better (first instance of direct limited unit powercreep in the game, way more egregious than neuv -> ayato) and her c1 is either a massive increase or literally nothing depending on what character you want to play her with. so navia and noelle mains have to pay 2x the gems for the exact same product that itto mains get, while itto mains don't get to have a c1 at all. this is a bummer for albedo fans, chiori fans, navia/noelle fans, AND itto fans all at the same time. it's just an uninspired, lazy, and scummy kit design that benefits very few people, and it does a disservice to how fantastic her visual design is and how cool her character has been so far from the little we've gotten to see.

- Powercreeps Albedo (Just better DMG)
- Non Construct Geo Teams (Navia/ Noelle) locked behind C1 Paywall (they even showed Navia in her Showcase on Stream..)
- Cool weapon Type (dual Sword) and Design but will not be used much since Off field (Basic ATK scaling is kinda useless)
- No Team Buffs

Chiori need Geo construct, Albedo's skill help crystallize & his Burst buff EM, EM and geo is stronger crystallize Shield (a bit).
Then Chiori replace Albedo in Itto, Gorou, Zhongli mono Geo.

You shouldn't try Na1Ca×5 when you play with her weapon because her weapon buffs only Na and you most likely using Yun jin

Like an earth bender that slams enemies together with a construct
A geo character that throws enemies up in the air with a construct and it does fall damage
A geo character that places constructs that pulls enemies in
A geo character that places a construct that periodically attacks like a golem
The options are limitless but hoyo is severely limited by their system.
As shown by only 3 possible constructs present at one time.
Instead geo has been shafted for all of genshin’s existence
PS chiori literally has no animations. Yea the swords are cool but ur wasting ur time with them. The dolls literally sit there and twitch every 3 seconds. Ult is cool but doesn’t feel impactful. And why does she need constructs for her skill to work 2x better, the constructs from other characters sit there and do NOTHING. What’s worse is that she is mathematically stronger than albedo in single target while feeling less powerful and impactful. Hoyo is lacking creativity when it comes to geo and its sad.
Hoyo literally have not made many geo characters because they CAN’T. fix constructs and make them cool. Rant over

C0 + PJC + mono geo (zhongli + Yun Jin + Gorou) should be enough to 36/36 current abyss with her as the dps.
she's extremely good at c0, she just can't realise her full potential in a navia or noelle team specifically. if you're playing her in a team that already synergises with her at c0, her c1 is nonexistent.

I think chiori is a dual scaler, like Alhaitham and Nahida, since her kit uses both ATK+DEF. A split scaler is someone like Albedo whose skill exclusively scale off DEF and hist brust only uses ATK
whats a good team for navia with c1 chirori?
Navia/Furina/Maiden's Bennett/Chiori. Alternatively, you can replace Bennett with Charlotte, Xianyun or other team healer.
C0 physical Chiori main dps was enough to 3 star floor 12 Abyss, so yea, just roll for whatever you want
Not the Optimal build, I built her with 4 piece shiminawas and engulfing lightning, her normals are slapping!
I dont really care there no end game content i alr have 2 fully build team who can wipe out abyss so yeah i got her in guaranteed 76 pull and i liked her gameplay so much its easy for my navia to one shot more easily cz she can generate crystal more

About weapon, it's best not to take reference from paper stats because those stats are impractical for most players. Videos that shows actual weapon comparison in action are better.
it's not about the stats, it's about the ratio comparison and determining which weapon can do the most damage in identical scenarios. the damage numbers themselves aren't relevant.

@@kyori75dude it's literally "which number is bigger than the other", it doesn't matter if it's 5, 6, 7, and 8 damage or 50,000, 60,000, 70,000, and 80,000 damage. the order and ratio will be the same.
Is she great? Not really. Is she really fun? Yeah honestly. I've tried using her with navia and I've made a triple geo team with her and then gorou and ningguang and honestly both are really fun imo and I enjoy playing her a lot. Will I be using her in abyss? Oh heck no

You're right, she's not a good support for Navia, she's a GREAT support for Navia. ...sounds like you just can't afford the Chioriya Boutique is all. Choiri doesn't lower her quality just so everyone on the street can get their hands on it. If people are too cheap to afford it, they can settle for an inferior product and use Noelle with Navia.

For general teams her c1 is probably better due to not needing another geo construct to proc the 2 dolls.
She does decent with the 3*/4* options and other crit based 5* weaps.

Nice and comprehensive as always, but I feel like your presentation of the Navia/Chiori team is unduly negative. Yes, without C1 she doesn't get the second doll, but she's still the best damage option for a Navia team if you're comfortable without Zhongli's shield. Yes, she's only a slight improvement over Albedo, but not everyone has Albedo (like myself). I understand why some people are disappointed that she doesn't get the second doll, but not reaching full potential is not the same as not working in a comp. I agree with you there are opportunity costs to consider, but what's missing from that section is an acknowledgement that she does, in fact, work reasonably well.

They really just balanced the powecreep that spread by Neuvillette (1st best dmg dealer) and Navia (2nd)

@@skammostlikely374 yes she is ur doing 300k every 9 secs, fully buffed, and for Neuvillette ur doing 320k every 3.5 secs also fully buffed.
Both of these are f2p numbers.
Navia's E is basically a EULA nuke without gathering them difficult to attain stacks.
So u can do 600k every rotation on navia without the buff wearing off.
While in Neuvillette's case the buff wears off and ur doing half the DMG u were earlier.
So in a 12 second duration after setup navia does 700k. (The freshly charged E in the end doesn't have all the buffs)
And Neuvillette does 320k+300k+200k by the end which is 820k and i haven't even added the 40-50k from ult and skill for Neuvillette niether for navia's ult coz they kinda be the same.
Why 12 second is the duration is bcz Neuvillette needs 12 secs to do 3 charged attacks which is the max he can do with them balls.
And after 8 secs the buff from geo artifact set is gone.
So the last hit wouldn't be 40k.
Although real numbers would be quite lower for Neuvillette this is just the optimal rotation where u assume all the buffs are maintained for max duration.
Tbh by the middle of second charge attack neuvillette 40k starts doing 26k.

And yes she does 300k buffed without buffs she's doing 120k around.
U just gotta build Better by which I mean 2k attack +66/220 crit ratio.
