The difference is that you can have as an example, a bass sound on osc 1/2/3. And a lead sound on osc 4/5. Then Oscillators 1/2/3 only play on your midi keyboard under the note C3. And Osc 4/5 play over the note C3. This is a new option in v2. So it's easy to play two types of sounds, on just one Solaris now.
gotcha so its like a keyboard split? like when you take a sampler patch and have say a moog sound on one half and drum samples on the other half? same concept but with the sounds from solaris? i bought the update, love the massive look :D also am digging the home made notch/BP EQ stages! btw if there is a a may madness sale will i be able to get kraft for any bit of a discount? if not il wait to get it but just want to know :)
Yes! Exactly like a keyboard split. And as Solaris has so many mods per Osc, it's easy to make one sound on half of the keyboard, and one on the other :) Maybe there will be a may sale :P who knows
what is multitimbral or what ever? how is it different than solaris 1.0 where you could have all the osc's going at once?
