How to get from Toronto Pearson to Downtown in 25 minutes (UP Express)

Welcome to another video! Today, I'll be taking a trip on North America's first dedicated air-rail link. The Union Pearson Express (UP Express) runs between Toronto Pearson International Airport and Union Station in Downtown Toronto with a travel time of just 25 minutes with two intermediate stops at Weston and Bloor. The service opened in 2015, just in time for the 2015 Pan American Games and operates with a fleet of 18 Nippon Sharyo DMU's (Diesel Multiple Units). Amenities include comfortable seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, and power outlets at every seat. This isn't the only way to get from Pearson to Downtown using public transportation, but it's without a doubt the fastest way! Come along with me as we take a ride on the Union Pearson Express from YYZ to Toronto Union Station!

The UP is the best way to travel between Pearson Airport and Union Station, especially if you are travelling with luggage or a family.
Toronto is notorious for its gridlock congestion, roadway construction, and inclement weather.
The UP slices through all this in comfortable, climate-controlled, fast, clean cars with luggage storage and a bathroom.
The cost comparison should be with taxis, not other public transit choices. UP is a 10/10.

I used to only take the bus from Kipling Station to the airport but when I have the funds to take the UP Express, I make sure to do it. I find it more convenient and a lot faster but I live in the downtown core so getting to Union Station by TTC is easier as well. Thank you for providing such great detail and information on all the options. It is very well researched and accurate.

I went to Toronto in MAY 2015. I literally missed the opening of the UP by a single month! Talk about timing, huh? So this video was really great - thank you!
