- Welcome to another video!
Today, we'll be taking a journey through Switzerland with the Rhaetian Railway on the world-famous Bernina Express! We'll begin our journey in Chur, the oldest city in the country where we'll catch an InterRegio service down to the majestic resort town of St. Moritz. From there, we'll climb aboard the Bernina Express for a two-hour ride down to Tirano in Northern Italy! This is a trip I had been looking forward to for quite some time and I'm excited to finally share it with you! Although there were some minor shortcomings, it was an incredible experience and one of my most memorable train trips yet! Come along with me as I travel on two trains with the Rhaetian Railway through the Swiss Alps down to Italy! Enjoy the video!

Been on this train twice loved it the flam train in Norway is supposed to be another good one
This is the best video I've watched for Bernina Express. Thx a lot for all the needed information I was looking for
During the summer it is possible to continue from the railway station called Tirano RhB (although it is in Italy it is considered Swiss territory) towards Lugano with a red RhB bus waiting for the Bernina Express. It is included in the Swiss Travel Pass, Eurailpass, InterRail pass and similar. Only the seat reservation is extra.
Can’t wait to come to Milan this Christmas and take the rails to make a loop through parts of Switzerland and back to Milan. Thanks for the AUsome video.💥💖🚄
Wonderfull video!
I have travelled this line several times, and I just can't get enough of it.
The swiss trains are the best I have ever been in. The scenery on the tracks are wonderfull, really just one big joy being there.
Coming winter I've planned a trip for this wonderful track😊.
Thanks for this great video! Greetings from the netherlands
Welcome to Switzerland, why food should be included? It is simply expensive and that’s it! :) To maintain this line and operate it, especially to keep the authentic style at high standards is costly. I go by car to the Bernina pass from time to time during summer to go biking there. I love the trains and the whole idea to celebrate beauty and engineering perfection. Taking care of this heritage so profound by the government is always a joy to see.
I did this last year (but in reverse Tirano > Chur) and absolutely LOVED it! The scenery was just unbelievable - especially to an Aussie guy like me. Thanks very much for sharing your trip with all of us :)
hi! did you buy the ticket online or at the station? which do you recommend?
@@AironNoriaLong Google "seat61 Bernina Express" - Run by a guy who is an expert on passenger trains, he can explain it a lot better than I can ;)
❤❤❤ Beautiful place
Samedan'da 4 sene yaşadım 2 çocuğum oldu orayı iyi biliyorum çok güzel satmoris gölü harika türkiye''den selâmlar 🌴👍🌺
Great video and some very helpful tips for the journey. NB Switzerland is in the Schengen travel area but not the EU.
Great video I am doing the same route next May with my friends ❤
Nice video of a great train ride and awesome scenery. Just an fyi - the 4ft81/2in (1,435mm) track gauge is called standard gauge everywhere, not just in the US.
👍👍👍
So IRegio and Bernina are on the same track between Chur and St Moritz, correct?
Sir where can I buy tickets online
Great video. Thanks for the details
Could you please share the link from where the inter regio tickets can be booked.
Great video, but which train # does the same route for less????
Very nice Video .. can u pls tell me how much is 2 way SF OR CHF u paid 2 way from Chur to Tirano and Tirano to Chur?
How was Tirano as a town?
Your comment about food or beverages not being included the only train in Swiss that offers that is the Glacier Express in Excellence Class which is $400 over 1st class. Your video was nice just too many lower thirds. Have you tried a wind muffler over your mic that may help when the widow was open. Maybe, maybe not it doesn’t detract.
24:22 no. Switzerland is not in the EU
Thanks for pointing that out! You are correct it is in the Schengen zone, not the EU.
