Crafty, artsy yes you are! The white on white tag is lovely. Ten months I've gone back in time ten months I see, just seeing what is of interest to learn, slow stitches, tags, ephemera, and and journaling. I'm still glowing from happiness after printing off your new digitals(all of it) for Christmas in two months. I will keep an original set to hoard. The old religious images and images of christmas past I totally appreciate. That took much hunting. Thank you
You never take too long….we do so enjoy listening to you visit with us about LuLu and Stevie and your mom and Sister, etc. you are a delight and your art is wonderful…. from the show me state of Missouri, USA…love and smiles
So much fun to watch you craft ladies. (better then TV) Learn a lot. When we were asked to stay home for a couple months last year, I did slow stitching for the first time. Took me hours and hours for each 2 inch square. Liked the look of them. Anyway it's a good thing you all do. Thanks!
2020 for me was a positive year. I discovered junk journaling 😊, watercolouring, drawing etc. And I also love the peace and quiet the 'you know what' has brought and the slowing down of the world. I do not mind at all, not being allowed to go as I please, apart from going to work 5 days a week, because it gives me a chance to be creative and chill out, it takes pressure away. So, in every way, for me 2020 was a fantastic year for which I am hugely grateful 😊. And Rachel, the air in Australia is cleaner too 🤗
Indeed! If you are truly creative - which you are - you have to follow your creative spirit. It's like breathing. You have to follow the flow of your creativity.
I was horrified by all those crazy ignorant people rampaging yesterday. How on Earth did things come to this with the president inciting a riot, extraordinary? Let’s hope he is brought to book and things improve for you, from England.
oh yes, so terrible. Feeling for all the people affected on the sidelines who do not feel this way, or feel this is even the correct way to behave. So sorry you have to live through this.
I know. I wasn't feeling well yesterday so was completely out of the loop and then to wake up this AM to see four people dead and the capitol breached -- I thought I was hallucinating . I live in Richmond, Va., and the news this AM -- from their website -- showed the protesters stopped about 30 miles north of Richmond in this small little college town, Ashland, I'm not sure why. When I was in the 9th grade -- English class -- Reader's Digest published a multi-issue report on "The Kent State Affair." where students protested the war in Viet Nam and four students were killed -- of course, none of us had any frame of reference -- it was a small college town in central Virginia -- but Crosby Stills had a song, with the chorus: Four Dead in Ohio -- Of course, some parents complained, but she pushed right back and said -- unless they learn this, then history will repeat itself. I never thought there would ever come a time, especially in modern history, that we would be where we are. Virginia is currently in a state of emergency -- it's the next day at 6:16 PM EST -- and the governor immediately called up the National Guard, as well as extra state troopers and police -- Virginia gets hit by hurricanes all the time, and the National Guard always responds for emergency services, I'm 64 and I don't think I have any memory of them being called up for a situation as yesterday. I'm glad I didn't watch the news or youtube -- peace be with us all -- Patricia
sorry for a second reply to your post -- this is the local news website -- I cannot believe the pictures -- Richmond got hit really hard this past summer, and I had to go downtown to a dr's appt., and couldn't believe it -- there were armed guards dressed in identical riot gear, only they were carrying these huge automatic rifles -- it was 2 days after a "protest" that caused almost $8 million in damages -- city hall, which takes up the entire block and has this huge glass plate windows and glass revolving doors -- the windows were broken out -- the park area around the general assembly (state government) building was closed, and huge chains like on large ships chained to port were around the gates with more security fencing and jersey walls -- that was June 23rd -- I haven't been back since. I needed to go to the post office, but couldn't make myself go there. www.wtvr.com/
Rachel, we love your twist on things and Anne did say you could do your own thing. Good for you to block the nasty person. She lost her rights when she judged you. Creativity and fun is what it's all about. Finding your own style is important, that's why we follow you. Great job on the beautiful Rachel tag!
I've come to believe when others feel the need to criticize one's creativity, they simply are in need of a huge glass of prune juice. Keep doing you, that's what creativity is, not cookie cutter projects. Love your videos.
I love your tags. Wonderful way to make them with items you have in your stash. I have watched Anne and she doesn’t gave absolute rules you have to follow. She comes up with an idea for the week and it’s up to you to create. That is what is fabulous about the challenge. I have watched quite a few videos and everyone is doing a lovely job. Looking forward to seeing your creations. ❤️❤️.
There are different shades of white, and your tag is beautiful. I love your work and I don't care what the creative police have to say. Don't let her bug you, there always seems to be one in every crowd. You do you!
This is all very beautiful! I have so many ideas flying through my head. Creativity doesn't follow rules...rules thwart creativity. You do you. That's why I like your videos.
Love your tag and enjoy watching you sew! I’m sure you don’t have to worry about being a rule breaker! To me, the prompts are just starting points to get you going. After all, we are all making our own tags for ourselves and we should make what we like! It’s not as though we are competing against each other for a prize! So please keep being your creative self. We watch you, because we love your creative process! Thank-you! 😃
Brilliant. First... loved the rebel rant against the gator who felt inclined to put you down so viscously. You were channeling the “Momma Bear” attitude, you’re a pro and an artist is allowed to paint/draw/stitch outside the lines!!! Your tag is stunning! The beadwork is marvelous and “thanks to your mum for the technique!”
I just watched Anne’s first video. There is metal in the center of her buttons, so I think your darling stamped image will pass muster. The whole point of any crafting like this is freedom. I watch you because you color outside the lines. Please continue to do that.
I JUST LOVE IT WHEN YOU DON’T PLAY BY THE RULES RACHEL! IT IS SO MUCH MORE FUN, AND WATCHING WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT IS JUST A BIG SURPRISE AS A BONUS ALSO. I JUST LOVE TO CHECK IN HERE AS IT ALWAYS GIVES ME A GREAT DAY!
i agree i also cant believe someone told you off... just do what makes you happy...! your always so warm hearted and i so enjoy your videos, take care... :)
I love your tag & watching you stitch it all down was fascinating. Anne distinctly said that if you didn't want to follow her prompts you didn't have to. The little pop of 'other' colour with your stamped piece just accentuated the whiteness of the rest. Anyhow there are so many variations of white from a brilliant white to an antique white.
Rachel, you did a beautiful job on this tag! I love your creativity. It's too bad (and sad really) that some people just can't keep their negativity to themselves. They feel they have to share it with the world! I really couldln't do the beading you do because of tremors but I don't let it stop me from making cards and journals! You have been a huge inspiration to me. Thank you!
Ha! I can’t believe the challenge police lady!! Wow...personally, I like having a little liberty to divert somewhat, all in the name of creativity. So, I’m thankful for permission to do that. But I will say, if someone feels the need to police this group, good luck! I’ve seen a lot of ‘creative liberties’ which adds to the beauty of the overall contributions to the group. Anyway, thanks, Rachel, for a wonderful video, filled with great ideas and interesting chatter, and the accent is nice too.
Who does that... you’re doing a great job don’t let small minded people be so vicious I love what you do. A challenge is you’re personal ideas we have to create different otherwise it would be too samey please keep doing what you’re doing Rachel.xx♥️
Thank you Rachel you make me feel confident to try this, but only when you mentioned Anne said "you can do whatever you want" Anne opened a beautiful door by mentioned this and thank to you to you because l got to known her work. So big hugs to you.
Hi 🙋♀️Rachel' Just found this video and I'm SOOO GLAD THAT I DID BECAUSE IT WAS AMAZING👍😎👏👌....... I'm also VERY HAPPY THAT YOU DIDN'T PAUSE IT AND DID IT OFF CAMERA.🤣🤣.....as I learnt something new and exciting tonight SLOW STITCHING AND BEADING...... Rachel thank you 🙏😍soooo very much my luve..... as to the beading THANK YOU RACHEL'S MUM FOR TEACHING🙏 😍RACHEL.....Also something that I didn't know how to do........ Hugs🤗🤗🤗 and Kisses🥰🥰🥰 to you both...... Stay Safe everyone luve from Rhonda Laine Aussie Land xoxoxo
Rachel, you are (as always) just what we need in the world... just tell those folks to subscribe elsewhere... and... thanks for challenging us (me) to use what we have instead of buying tags...
I’m sorry someone was so rude to you. Some people are just unhappy with themselves and have no imagination. Every challenge I have seen has been open to interpretation and geared to making it your own. Not meant to be a cookie cutter project. I love everything I have seen you create. Thank you for being so positive. You are a lovely lady. Thank you for sharing your Mom’s beading tip it’s a great idea. Also, I agree with you on beading needles, I don’t like them either. Gentle bear hugs xx
I love this challenge Rachel, as I would love to learn to sew by hand and do different stitches. Yours is sooooo pretty I will go over and look at Ann's video next. Well done blocking that lady, people get so brave behind a keyboard and not so brave face to face. You don't need people like that on your channel. Have a wonderful day, and enjoy your walk if you go today. xxx
Your tags are fab! I wish I’d have thought of doing that but then I don’t have a tag die. Never mind. I love your work Rachel as you know. It sounds lovely where you live. I’m like Stephane. If anyone wakes me up I can be in a bad mood all day! I sleep late so I sleep long. I’m sure Anne will love what you’re doing. I’m trying to catch up with your videos as I had a slow start in the New Year. You can always add a few French knots and beads if there’s no room to embroider. And buttons! X
I can't follow the rules either! I love your discussion about not following the rules. It's a creative practice! If you aren't comfortable with being creative then stick to paint by number! I mostly make quilts and as soon as a quilt catches my eye I am instantly thinking of what I would do differently! I love that you blocked the person that was unkind. Good boundaries.
Rachel what a gorgeous tag. Thank you so much for showing how you bead. I learn from you each time I watch. I love this challenge and plan to keep up--I fell behind with the one on the wood spool and never started the book. Tags I can handle, Lol. I also love that you made your own tags, great idea and so lovely. I find watching you stitch and bead so relaxing. Thanks to you I have learned that slow stitching is great thing to help me relax. Needed a good bit of that over the last year. Thanks Rachel.
Really Beautiful Roxy. An artist creates from her soul. There are no rules just guidelines. Well, I hope so because this is so lovely. I just saw Anne's number 2 and can't way to get started on it. Thank you for keeping me company this afternoon and sharing your beautiful tag.
These are gorgeous as always & good on you for blocking the negativity. Keep doing what you do lovely lady because what you produce is beautiful x Ngaa mihi ❤️
Good Morning Rachel! Beautiful papers I love all the vibrant colors. Lol! you cracked me up with the die hard supporter you got in trouble that is hilarious. I love how the tag came out, I used to hand embroidery but my arthritis slows me down. That bead holder is really cool I would like to get my daughter's one of those, they both do bead work. Thanks for the video, I'm watching this late but I hope you have a beautiful day. Take care!
This tag is awesome. So you think outside the box. Theres nothing wrong with that. Espically since Anne has given her permission to divert some !! I'm glad that you've blocked the troll or to quote Kevin Lake " Vertically challenged individuals who live under bridges " I loved that from the first time he said it. I can't believe my ears. You just said that watching you stitch this is a bit like watching paint dry. No wonder you didnt remember me saying that, so you just gave me a huge belly laugh !!!!!!
Hi Rachel, I am a bit slow to the party, but so glad I found this video. I am just a beginner and starting out and this is a managable project for me. Love it :)
Beautiful tag Rachel,I enjoy watching you slow stitching & adding the beads, I am definitely going to try this! I am finding slow stitching so relaxing ♥️Thank you for sharing!
As I am older than you I remember embroidering on denim jeans and jackets. My thumbs just ache thinking of it! 😂🤣. Love slow stitching and am excited to join in on this challenge. Please, don’t stifle your creativity by thinking of rules as laws. As said in Pirates of the Caribbean, “not really a rule, more of a guideline...”🤣😂. Hugs and blessings, 🤗❤️🇨🇦
Hi Rachel... I haven't commented in awhile, but I have been watching every video. I just finished my first journal and it's going to my friend in Victoria Australia. I was kind of puny the week following Christmas. I don't think it was the unmentionable, but I just wanted to sleep and it was really cold so I hibernated. Love the journals you have finished and I know I'll enjoy the tag making. Thank you for sharing.
I love the look of this tag, the layers of lace and fabric are luscious. As for the ugly commenter -- by blocking her, you have had the last word (although the rest of us would like to have a word with her too!). Thanks for sharing your creativity, Rachel.
I’m in on this one. Love slow stitching and collaging. Already designed my first two in my head (lol) and already behind stitching the first two 😬 so decided to order the tags Anne is using. Loved your white and look forward to seeing your #2 heart! Don’t worry about doing your thing! Some people need to keep their rude to themselves and creators gotta create!!!!
What a great idea! I wish I’d of thought to do that for mine. I did use card stock paper I had but they’re not great colors. So I used them up. Love the ruler idea as well. Good job.
Love your tag booklet Rachel. I am enjoying watching everyone else's first tags and was surprised how much white I thought I had and in the end, how much was actually antique or off white, very, very pale yellow, or cream. Such a lovely project for the year. Looking forward to seeing what you and everyone else produce.
Just found the challenge. I will be watching you & Anne as you both progress. I've watched a couple of her videos introducing herself, a look-see at her studio & the first week of the 52-week Challenge. I'm so thrilled to read that we can be our own crafter & still remain true to the "mission". ;)
Everything you do is so perfect! Plus, listening to you is more interesting than most people. I love the way you did your tags. I have to try that with some of the scrapbook paper I have.
Great idea to use paper you don’t like. I’m doing Anne Brookes tags so I cut up cardboard boxes like ice cream and other boxes I had. It worked well and I made a hole in the top. Greetings from New Zealand.
Love, love, love this challenge! Now a subscriber to Anne’s channel and will participate, even though I’ll be off to a little bit late start. Thank you so much Rachel for spreading the word! Now, I’m off to gather some white supplies! ❤️
Such a beautiful tag! What a wonderful way to showcase all the lovely, scraggly bits of fabric- holes and all. I am definitely going to participate. I love the idea of making the tags and using up your scraps. Thanks for the inspiration!
You work is beautiful. Don’t over stress yourself about this person who called you out for not following a challenge exactly. A true artist will be creative in their own way, it is what sets us apart! The challenges are for inspiration, to get a person to be creative and to share with one another. They are not to be stressful. I’m going way off the challenge and will likely be adding other ephemera and paper, not just textiles.
What a lovely tag, I’ve gone on over and watched Ann’s video and subscribed to her channel and I can’t wait to get started with this challenge! Thank you so much for sharing and have a beautiful day 💛
Oh I've been noticing how the weather has improved with the lack of pollution (planes are a big part of that) it seems to be settling into traditional cycles and that's an awesome positive! Nature bounces back so well! I'm definitely doing this with my ugly papers! Oooh, you controversial rebel you 😂 I agree that rigidly sticking to 'rules ' stifles creativity
Seriously..... a fellow crafter scolded you for not following their interpretation of directions.... oh my.... that’s terrible. Your art is wonderful and your videos are a joy to watch. Thank you. Beautiful tag😊
Such a gorgeous tag, Rach! And what fun! Thanks for talking about Anne and linking her. I’ve gone over to subscribe. I’m trying to talk myself into doing the challenge. Challenges kind of stress me, but one tag a week might be doable. As always, you inspire me, friend! ❤️
@@roxycreationsbysarah I’ve decided I’m going to jump in! Thanks for the encouragement, Sarah! I’m definitely a novice stitcher, but maybe I’ll learn a thing or two! Thanks to Rach for putting me on to Anne! Big hugs to you both! 🤗🤗❤️
I love your creativity. I watched Anne's video and I did see her mention that if there is ever a tag you didn't want to do... then do what you want. My tags are larger... And I wasn't planning on doing any stitching at all, just fabric collage with glue. But after watching a few videos and getting inspired, I will do the stitching because I've always wanted to learn embroidery, It takes me out of my comfort zone and encourages me to try new things. Sorry that you had that mean comment. I've learned that there are just mean people out there... for no reason than to be mean. Don't let it make you second guess what you do. You are fabulous! Lulu is a delight when she pops in, and your husband as well with his beautiful accent. I really enjoy your channel!
thanks for showing us tips for mass making tags. This will help me get my bases made so much faster than doing them one at a time. FYI - dont let the haters get you down. There will always be that one who has to be negative but the rest of the world is clearly loving what you do. Im a new subscriber and love what you are showing! Have a great day!
I was so excited to see Anne's tag challenge! It is such a fun and quick project to look forward to each week. I was going to use a stash of standard plain tags I have, but I like your idea of collaging the tags so much better. I'm so glad you're participating. Thank you so much for inspiring me to make my own tags.
Lovely idea to make your tags. I have just completed the first tag. I have never undertaken a challenge before or sewed like this so a learning curve and lots of fun ! Tfs x
You have inspired me to get going with this project, I struggled to start anything this last year. Thankyou this gives me hope for 2021. Can’t wait to get started! Love your video 🥰 xxx
I just watched this even though I have seen the more recent ones. I am also doing Anne's challenge, I made the book and want to do the strip that you did. Loved doing the book. I wondered about your tags, what a great job, I thought you used a tag die cutter. Love your videos and always wonder how you ended up in Italy. I'm Canadian , met and married (later divorced) an Italian American and lived in the States for 16 years. Then met an English man in Toronto and we were together for 20 years until he died 11 years ago. I'm probably older than your mum and have been hand sewing forever but learn cool stuff from you all the time. Thanks Rachel.
Love the tags too. Nothing wrong with not following the rules. It's craft and should be fun and nice to put your own ideas into it. isn't that the whole idea of being creative? Just keep doing things your way, be you ☺
Rachel, just love how this tag has come together and it looks so elegant on your tag base. Brilliant idea to create your bases like that too. Your inspiration never ceases to delight me. TFS C xx
Such a rule breaker...LOL. I just don’t understand people and why they get so bent out of shape. That’s what creativity is all about...tweaking the rules to make it your own. Keep doing what your doing. Lovely tag by the way. Hopefully I will be joining in on this tag/stitching challenge as well. I have the tags cut and fabric chosen for the first tag, now just to make it.
You and Anne have got me going on the embroidery...thank you! I’ve been doing bead embroidery for years and have taught it. I never have to buy another bead, ever. If you want a really nice bead needle try the Tulip brand in a size 11. They are super sturdy and remarkably easy to thread.
Oh no, I can’t believe that someone told you off for your version of their challenge. I am always soooooo excited if someone joins in with something I’ve done, lol. It’s only crafting anyway, and everyone’s interpretation of things is different x

Thank you
Thank you! 😊
You never take too long….we do so enjoy listening to you visit with us about LuLu and Stevie and your mom and Sister, etc. you are a delight and your art is wonderful…. from the show me state of Missouri, USA…love and smiles
Thank you so much!
So much fun to watch you craft ladies. (better then TV) Learn a lot. When we were asked to stay home for a couple months last year, I did slow stitching for the first time. Took me hours and hours for each 2 inch square. Liked the look of them. Anyway it's a good thing you all do. Thanks!
Thank you so much!
And Rachel, the air in Australia is cleaner too 🤗
It has been similar for me the only thing that is tough is not being able to come home. Thank you so much!
Indeed! If you are truly creative - which you are - you have to follow your creative spirit. It's like breathing. You have to follow the flow of your creativity.
Thank you so much!
Thank you for sharing your mom's method for sewing on beads! Your work is beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful. This is what I needed after the Hellish day we have had in the USA. A sad day indeed.
I was horrified by all those crazy ignorant people rampaging yesterday. How on Earth did things come to this with the president inciting a riot, extraordinary? Let’s hope he is brought to book and things improve for you, from England.
💔💝🙋♀️🇦🇺
oh yes, so terrible.
Thank you so much!
I've come to believe when others feel the need to criticize one's creativity, they simply are in need of a huge glass of prune juice. Keep doing you, that's what creativity is, not cookie cutter projects. Love your videos.
I think you're right, that would do the trick!!! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
There are different shades of white, and your tag is beautiful. I love your work and I don't care what the creative police have to say. Don't let her bug you, there always seems to be one in every crowd. You do you!
Thank you so much!
Love the soft look of white pieces. Lovely tag!! Thank you Rachel.
Thank you so much!
I’m thankful for your Momma... she was a great teacher and you are following in her footsteps! 💞
Thank you so much!
This is all very beautiful! I have so many ideas flying through my head. Creativity doesn't follow rules...rules thwart creativity. You do you. That's why I like your videos.
Thanks so much!
Thank-you! 😃
Thank you so much!
i am loving this challenge. Your mom's method of putting beads on makes total sense! Thanks for sharing that tip!
Thank you so much!
Brilliant. First... loved the rebel rant against the gator who felt inclined to put you down so viscously. You were channeling the “Momma Bear” attitude, you’re a pro and an artist is allowed to paint/draw/stitch outside the lines!!!
Your tag is stunning! The beadwork is marvelous and “thanks to your mum for the technique!”
Thank you so much!
I just watched Anne’s first video. There is metal in the center of her buttons, so I think your darling stamped image will pass muster. The whole point of any crafting like this is freedom. I watch you because you color outside the lines. Please continue to do that.
Thank you so much!
Thank you 😊
i agree i also cant believe someone told you off... just do what makes you happy...! your always so warm hearted and i so enjoy your videos, take care... :)
Thank you so much!
Great tip the extra stitch with beads. Thanks to your Mum😘 Loving the fabric beads and lace🥰
Thank you! 😊
Thank you so much!
Thank you for all of your creative and artsy tutorials.
Thank you so much!
Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Love your white on white tag, Rachel! So pretty with the added beads & buttons. Very inspiring. Hugs, Sharron 💗🤗🌸
Thank you so much!
It takes a thousand kind words to fix mean words. I love this tag! It’s beautiful! 🤗💕🦋
Thank you so much!
@@roxycreations679 You’re very welcome!🦋
Don't stop doing your own thing. Beautiful.
Thank you so much!
Who does that... you’re doing a great job don’t let small minded people be so vicious I love what you do. A challenge is you’re personal ideas we have to create different otherwise it would be too samey please keep doing what you’re doing Rachel.xx♥️
Thank you so much!
Thank you Rachel you make me feel confident to try this, but only when you mentioned Anne said "you can do whatever you want" Anne opened a beautiful door by mentioned this and thank to you to you because l got to known her work. So big hugs to you.
You will do a great job! Thank you so much!
I so enjoyed your tags and the slow stitching. Thanks for your Mum’s seed bead attachment secret. TFS❤️
Thank you so much!
I absolutely love the 52 week challenges. Many people are doing various things each week. I can’t wait to see them all, they will be fabulous I’m sure
Thank you so much!
Hi 🙋♀️Rachel'
Just found this video and I'm SOOO GLAD THAT I DID BECAUSE IT WAS AMAZING👍😎👏👌.......
Thank you so much!
I love your tag. It's so pretty. And thanks for showing how you add beads. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much!
Rachel, you are (as always) just what we need in the world... just tell those folks to subscribe elsewhere... and... thanks for challenging us (me) to use what we have instead of buying tags...
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Have a wonderful day, and enjoy your walk if you go today. xxx
Thank you so much!
Do what you want. Journal making is not a dictatorship.💕💕🤪
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful tag.Thank you for the beading tips.
Thank you so much!
Really Beautiful Roxy. An artist creates from her soul. There are no rules just guidelines. Well, I hope so because this is so lovely. I just saw Anne's number 2 and can't way to get started on it. Thank you for keeping me company this afternoon and sharing your beautiful tag.
Thank you so much!
Love the idea of slow stitching a tag and how the white fabrics and laces add to the beauty of your bases. It does look quite relaxing.
Thank you so much!
These are gorgeous as always & good on you for blocking the negativity. Keep doing what you do lovely lady because what you produce is beautiful x Ngaa mihi ❤️
Thank you so much!
Relaxing to watch - and I really need that right now! Thanks so much!!
Thank you so much!
Take care!
They are great, you can get them on Amazon. Thank you so much!
What a great tag, Rachel! Well done. Also, just be yourself and do the tags your way.
Thank you so much!
Adding the seed beads - brilliant - love it - thanks. Blessings.
Thank you so much!
This tag is awesome. So you think outside the box. Theres nothing wrong with that. Espically since Anne has given her permission to divert some !! I'm glad that you've blocked the troll or to quote Kevin Lake " Vertically challenged individuals who live under bridges "
I loved that from the first time he said it.
I can't believe my ears. You just said that watching you stitch this is a bit like watching paint dry. No wonder you didnt remember me saying that, so you just gave me a huge belly laugh !!!!!!
Thank you so much!
Hi Rachel, I am a bit slow to the party, but so glad I found this video. I am just a beginner and starting out and this is a managable project for me. Love it :)
Thank you so much 😊
Your tag is gorgeous! Looks fun! Love it! 😊💗
Thank you so much!
Beautiful tag Rachel,I enjoy watching you slow stitching & adding the beads, I am definitely going to try this! I am finding slow stitching so relaxing ♥️Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for showing how you add beads. It turned out so pretty. Love that you are adding it to a tag. Great idea.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Love your Dump Bowl idea🎈
Thank you so much!
I just love your all white tag! After watching you, think I’ll give slow stitching a go. Thank you for sharing your talent and creativity. 💜😎
Thank you so much!
I love the look of this tag, the layers of lace and fabric are luscious. As for the ugly commenter -- by blocking her, you have had the last word (although the rest of us would like to have a word with her too!). Thanks for sharing your creativity, Rachel.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Your first tag came out beautifully! I think I will join in!
Thank you so much!
Love this tag with your stitching! Beautiful! TFS the inspiration, Rachel!
Thank you so much!
What a great idea! I wish I’d of thought to do that for mine. I did use card stock paper I had but they’re not great colors. So I used them up. Love the ruler idea as well. Good job.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Just found the challenge. I will be watching you & Anne as you both progress. I've watched a couple of her videos introducing herself, a look-see at her studio & the first week of the 52-week Challenge. I'm so thrilled to read that we can be our own crafter & still remain true to the "mission". ;)
Thank you so much!
Hi from a fellow Aussie. I am another who feels we have to follow our 💕 hearts and let our creativity flow.
Thank you so much!
I love the diversity of creativity.
Thank you so much!
Everything you do is so perfect! Plus, listening to you is more interesting than most people. I love the way you did your tags. I have to try that with some of the scrapbook paper I have.
Thank you so much!
Great idea to use paper you don’t like. I’m doing Anne Brookes tags so I cut up cardboard boxes like ice cream and other boxes I had. It worked well and I made a hole in the top. Greetings from New Zealand.
Thank you so much!
So relaxing to watch someone slow stitch. Very lovely piece.
Thank you so much!
Love, love, love this challenge! Now a subscriber to Anne’s channel and will participate, even though I’ll be off to a little bit late start. Thank you so much Rachel for spreading the word! Now, I’m off to gather some white supplies! ❤️
Thank you so much!
Happy New Year Rachel to your home from my home! Best Wishes for 2021!
Happy New Year!
No it’s not boring I’m learning the proper way to bead. Loved watching as always loved the chat.
Thank you so much!
Such a beautiful tag! What a wonderful way to showcase all the lovely, scraggly bits of fabric- holes and all. I am definitely going to participate. I love the idea of making the tags and using up your scraps. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you so much!
So pretty Rachel. I love how your base tags turned out. I feel like Anne was pretty clear about doing your own thing....this is going to be so fun.
Thank you so much!
So pretty Rachel, I love the tags prior to you stitching but after they are all going to be as stunning as this one! xxx💕
Thank you so much!
Oh so much fun and love how they turned out 💘 😻 💜
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Loved making this.
Thank you so much!
What a lovely tag, I’ve gone on over and watched Ann’s video and subscribed to her channel and I can’t wait to get started with this challenge! Thank you so much for sharing and have a beautiful day 💛
Thank you so much!
Yes that's it, it's like the more traditional cycles! Thank you so much!
Seriously..... a fellow crafter scolded you for not following their interpretation of directions.... oh my.... that’s terrible.
Your art is wonderful and your videos are a joy to watch. Thank you.
Beautiful tag😊
Thank you so much!
You should do it Gayle :)
I am so pleased you decided to take part!!! Thank you so much! Hug Rach
Thank you so much for such kind words!!
thanks for showing us tips for mass making tags. This will help me get my bases made so much faster than doing them one at a time. FYI - dont let the haters get you down. There will always be that one who has to be negative but the rest of the world is clearly loving what you do. Im a new subscriber and love what you are showing! Have a great day!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Lovely idea to make your tags. I have just completed the first tag. I have never undertaken a challenge before or sewed like this so a learning curve and lots of fun ! Tfs x
Thank you so much!
Love how you made your tags for this project. I wish I had some of your creativity
Thank you so much!
You have inspired me to get going with this project, I struggled to start anything this last year. Thankyou this gives me hope for 2021. Can’t wait to get started! Love your video 🥰 xxx
Thank you so much!
I love your tag and watching the whole process😍
Thank you so much!
I met my husband in Florence when I was on holiday afteer University. He was studying architecture. Thank you so much!
Love the tags too. Nothing wrong with not following the rules. It's craft and should be fun and nice to put your own ideas into it. isn't that the whole idea of being creative? Just keep doing things your way, be you ☺
Thank you so much!
Love the collaging. Pretty tag. Blessings
Thank you so much!
Rachel, just love how this tag has come together and it looks so elegant on your tag base. Brilliant idea to create your bases like that too. Your inspiration never ceases to delight me. TFS C xx
Thank you so much!
I love the beautiful tag! Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
You and Anne have got me going on the embroidery...thank you! I’ve been doing bead embroidery for years and have taught it. I never have to buy another bead, ever. If you want a really nice bead needle try the Tulip brand in a size 11. They are super sturdy and remarkably easy to thread.
Thank you so much!
