Thank you for providing this world-wide project, for all of us to connect while slow stitching. This is a great project for someone like me who wants to get into the groove of stitching again, but doesn't want a huge project commitment. I am happy to switch from paper crafting for a while and I can manage an hour or so per week. These are beautiful tags, thank you again for your leadership and your creativity.

Nice tag! Blue background with red and white stripes, reminds me of the US flag, lol. Very pretty with the lace. I know what you mean about "fabric envy," lol. I try not to want what everyone else has, but it's difficult sometimes. I'm still getting supplies together, but I really want to do this challenge--I finally got some white fabric (from a shirt my husband was getting rid of) and I'm hoping to get caught up shortly. Thanks for sharing, this is just the kind of distraction I need (I'm sure I'm not alone in that, as well). Looking forward to next week's tag; take care!

I love the first blue printed fabric you chose . I think it's called Toile (prouncedl like twal) its Irish originally produced in the 18th centry. It quickly became popular across France 1st then to Germany and other areas of Europe. Today most people think of it as French!! I have lots of sample books gifted to meta local upholstry shop that would work perfectly on these tags. Love the cat. I have a rescue cat. I thought she was a Tortoise Shell cat, but she is Bengal. She loves the tick tick sound when I'm texting and commenting on a video. She gets on my chest between me and my phone or tablet, but wont lie still. I either have to hold the phone/tablet up so I can see or make her get down. She doesnt like getting down.

It is week 7 and I am on vacation, but I ordered my tags and should be in by tomorrow. Currently I am catching up with all the prompts and I should start my tags this weekend. I think I will start with tag 7 and tag 1, and fit in the prior prompts as time allows. I was so inspired by the hashtag on Instagram and I am hooked.
Loving this challenge, my sister and I will be working this together, she in Oregon and me in Washington USA. Today is Jan 30th so I've got a bit of catching up to do but it's not a race is it. Only half way through this third video so far. I'm primarily a quilter and love to fussy cut fabric for my blocks. May I suggest you cut a window template for the heart (or other shape), just use the paper you cut the heart out of, then you can get a more accurate vision of what you'll end up with.

I love the cats. After years of only dogs (40), in our older years we got a cat 🐈⬛. Then someone abandoned a tiny kitten in our yard. So we have 2 also. Truthfully they are supposed very comforting. I think I’m won over. Lol. In California there are so many stray cats. I think the weather is never very cold that they just multiply. I love this challenge. Thank you so much.
Think I’ll add wings to my heart. Just learned yesterday that it’s a symbol of courage. I’ve enjoyed your other challenges and haven’t started this one yet but I intend to. I’ve been canning so been a little busy but slow stitching calms my mind, body, and heart. Thank you.

I'm left handed my self, by be forced in school in 1970 use right hand, so I write and use scissor by this hand, rest doing by left........ this challenge give same idea how I start my 2021...... first tag and today "heart tag" are beautiful...... thank you for share same project....... best 2021 from Ursa, Cape Town, South Africa
Love to see the different ideas and techniques. I’ve been buying different threads and cottons lately so the results are really pleasing. However the DMC 5g skeins are “twisty” and get into a tangle. Could I ask how you store yours please to save getting into a knot?
Aww so sweet and pesky 🤗 We had a darling parakeet back when I used to make quilts. One day as I sat stitching the binding, finishing the quilt.He sat at my feet making happy sounds. Harumph, he was happily unpicking my stitches 😂

I started the tag challenge and it’s so much fun . I’m also doing a large mouth page and adding a pocket on the back so I can put in a letter of the account of what happened that mo them at the end of the I’ll have a personal year book..
Can you tell me what the difference is from material and fabric if there is one, as when I was younger it was called material, sorry if this sounds a silly question, but it’s been bugging me for years. Or was it just a trendy word that came in when I wasn’t looking and stayed. This tag idea is great, I am a paper, glue and scissors girl, but I am going to have a go at this x

northern Indiana. I think everyone in our area at that time called it material.
I'd love to compete in your challenge but I don't like slow stitching, am I still able to participate?
