Thank you for the very informative and up-to-date report on airport services. I am sure the Japanese services are aiming to leave no one left behind at a loss. I sometimes work as a tourist interpreter, and my clients from English-speaking countries are often surprised that there are always people who do nothing more than tell people to watch their step during construction, and that department stores have more than one receptionist to show them around inside. I suppose this is partly because Japanese customers are more likely to appreciate companies that spare no labor costs for guiding them around. Anyway, I can't wait for your next report on Japan after a long absence.

True honest and not lying, the airport service in Japan are incredibly nice, as the staffs in the passing areas are friendly to provide instructions on looking at the camera or thumb printing to travelers.
Also, having a quarantine may help you to do self improvement, evaluating the lifestyle.

I could use 4 seats all together to lay myself down when I had a flight from Europe. was great! once we have experience of this comfortable flight with Econnomy class ticket, I can't get satisfied with a normal flight anymore... 日本のこういう役所仕事は手数が多い(時間もかかる)のが問題だけど、
全く何の知識もなしに飛び込んでも大丈夫なくらい分かりやすく説明してくれるし丁寧だよね。
市役所とか銀行とか民間のサービスでもそう。こういう「ぬるま湯」感が個人的には好きw

Welcome back to Japan! Japan Airline is my choice of airline too! I am so glad that you were able to comeback to Japan, with the PCE hassle with minimum stress. It used to be 7 days of quarantine while back, so 3 days isn't so bad. I am sure that you would miss your family and friends in London, but I hoe you would enjoy your living in Japan more!
I used to fly "American Airline" to the United States just because they were the only airline that flew direct to Silicon Valley. The flight was quite popular and almost always booked full. I was lucky to fly in the business class most of the time, either paid by the company or I pay the upgrade. But from time to time, I was stuck in the economy, in the middle of the center seat and couldn't go to bathroom without bothering people. And food in the economy in American is pretty bad. I don't know why the food can be so bad in the American (or United for that matter) in the economy seat. The only advantage of flying into Silicon Valley directly was convenience; the rental car was in the same building on the arrival gate, and the airport was located close to the work. San Francisco Airport on the other hand was pretty bad, you had to take a bus from the arrival gate to the rental car building, and after getting the car, the freeway traffic was bad. Nowadays the international business is mostly done remotely so I do not have to travel at all, I can do it on Skype or Zoom.
Anyway, please make yourself home, and relax, recuperate from the jet lag.
I've flown with United before and I usually get vegetarian food on their flights because the regular food is so terrible 😂 the best flight food I've had had been on Japan Airlines and also ANA actually. Thank you for your comment ✨😊

i was curious, what job did you have when you move to japan, and how long did you work in it? ive heard different peoples opinions on different jobs there, so i was hoping to have some of your input, if youre ok with it :)
lastly, i know some people who moved there as new grads, and was wondering, what was your experience doing that (if you moved in your early 20s)?

which date exactly you enter Japan? My fiance will comeback to Japan soon, so i like to know your experience is same as what my fiance should expect especially now Japanese gov lowered restrictions now. Especially the hotel part, before Japanese gov requested to stay in hotel but seems like now they only ask to stay at home(if you have)

How come you had to quarantine? Are u from a designated country?
I thought you didn’t have to go to the quarantine facility anymore after 1st March (as long as you were vax’ed 3 times). Was it before March?

先月、友人が日本へ帰国したのですが入国時に出発時のPCR証明書にクレームつけられて、仕方なく現地法人の駐在員経由で再度、証明書の発行依頼！時差の関係で証明書発行の医療機関オープンまで数時間空港内に足止めだったと嘆いてました。
日本の丁寧なサービスにびっくりしました😊

お帰りなさい。隔離時の食事は、一人一食1500円で国から税金が出ているので、中抜きされなければ、美味しい物が出てくるはずですよね。
自分の場合、成田空港に帰国した時、職員はバタバタしていましたね😅
20時間ぐらいかけて、やっと日本に帰ってこられたと思ったら、
4時間弱程度は拘束されてしまいます。
こうしたもの含めて、新規入国停止などの現代の鎖国は、
想像以上にこれからの日本発展へのダメージは大きいものだと実感しました。
海外では正常に動いていますからね。
最近はようやく、緩和しつつあるので良かったですが。
短期的に国境を閉める事は簡単でも、
長期的にその代償を支払うことになってしまいます。

空港検疫に日本国の職員は少ないですよ、日給4万円ぐらいのパソナの外国人バイトだから一生懸命ですね医師は日給20万円だそうです、だから日本国は税金がめちゃ高くなります
