I've recently seen these trains on the N line, they're not completely gone.
The R68/A still run on the N and Q, but this is EXTREMELY rare.
Occasionally you still might see an R68 train on the N line, but I personally like the R160 version more.
There are still 2 R68 trains shared between the N and W. Hopefully they'll stay there for a while...
