Thanks for your input, I've been looking up reviews on Amazon (seems mostly useless) and on here for the last month for a decent chair. I'll pull the trigger on this one.
This chair was fairly easy to put together, the instructions were clear and I was about to follow along with no issues at all. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx5hPALGI87E991DRmXev8PUFJGrrRcONS I did stuff the back of the chair with a pillow so it wouldn’t be so hollow after taking all the pieces out but that’s just a personal preference. I also added a pillow for lumbar support because although this is a great chair and is comfortable, it’s not necessarily the best if you’re sitting 10+ hrs a day wfh but in all honesty for the price, I didn’t mind at all. It looks great in my space and easily adjusts the height when needed.
I just bought it for $150 as well! It's odd because there was another Ticova chair on Amazon for $299 but it was literally the same exact chair. Pictures, descriptions, everything. So I just ordered the $150 one because I don't see any difference and both had thousounds of reviews.
The metal thing that makes a lot of noise when it moves around? I think you’re supposed to bend the rods inwards slightly and then slide it over the bottom of the chair. That’s what I did and it holds itself in place without rattling.
🤣 that previous chair you was using. I’m in the same predicament rn. Been sitting in this thing for 3 years and it always messes up my posture when I start to sit at my computer a lot or game a lot. Time to upgrade to this one.
Ryan sorry if I bother you again...I tried to write directly to the manufacturer....and I didn't like the answer...I just ask you to tell me if the gas piston of your chair gets dirty with grease when you change it the height making it go up and down.... Thanks in advance
Hi, I purchased this chair after seeing your video....I find it exceptional..but after a month of use the chair started to rock slightly both sideways and back and forth.... As if the piston was ruined....in fact the latter also gets dirty on the outside with grease during its ups and downs.... I don't have excessive weight... I weigh around 80/82 KG... Is this normal or should I ask for assistance?
got this chair a week ago, its only squeaky if you tighten the bolts on the frame too much, so you gotta fine tune it a bit if u get this issue, otherwise its completely silent all around so far
Thanks for the review, looking at one now - is the headrest removable at all? Love the thought of having one but I'm always concerned with my height (5'3) it won't go low enough and cause neck pain rather than comfort
I just got this chair for £140 as an upgrade to constantly breaking £70 chairs. The legs and base are fully metal and the holes that the wheels go in are metal completely removing one place chairs break. The gas cylinder seems to be a whole other quality level up from the cheapest chairs. The headrest is actually usable at almost 6'7, the arm rests are actually metal and connected to the seat and not constantly being tugged at by the back of the chair. I can also lean all the way back in the chair until it stops and it never creaks, moans or feels like it will snap like my last chair. it's worth every penny I paid for it and if it lasts over 2 years I'll buy another if I have to. Usually I'll be happy with a chair like this and the cylinder will turn out to be weak or wobbly making the entire experience unacceptable. I have high hopes that this chair will remain as it is now. Touch wood. If after 2 years the cylinder fails I'll look at replacing it because this is the most solid chair I've owned so far.
Honestly, I got this chair and hate it. It is total garbage. The headrest is wiggly and is fixated in a weird place. Reaching out far too much, so you cannot relax your neck. Instead it pushes into the back of your head giving you a turtle neck. Then, also the tilting options for the backrest are garbage. It basically has to options. Flexible or fixated. Flexible is nice for a while. You can go back and forth. But the default is wayy to forward-leaning. And also on the fixated backrest mode, you can choose only between a way too forward lean and a wayy too backward lean mode. So yeah, impossible to work 8 hours straight on this piece of garbage. Have no idea, how this chair gets so many positive reviews...
Very helpful to see a review from someone who bought it for personal use . . guess I'll go ahead buy one :) Thanks!
Glad you like it! And glad I made a review of it

Will it be comfortable for 5,3 people? And can you adjust the sensitivity of the rocking?

It fits 1 person max. 5,3 people is too much.

Hi, could you tell me how to adjust the height of cushion seat?
top notch review!
Thanks!
hi. i feel like i’ve somehow set this up wrong. does the base feel really short to you? feel like my bum sits on the edge of the seat…
Hi, can you use the chair without the armrests or are they welded into the base?
Yes, you screw them into the base so just skip that step
This may sound silly but is it squeaky like any parts of it when you apply any kind of pressure?

0:48 You're welcome.
Hi, does the headrest go much higher than you have it? I'm 6ft 4 so a bit concerned it won't be tall enough for me.
It can go a little bit higher than I have it
Im 6’2” and it’s high enough for me on the highest setting
Are the arm rests fully hard plastic or does it have some slight cushioning?
theres a bit of cushioning but it is alot better than just straight plastic

I read in a reply on amazon that the headrest is removable, dont have one in hand so i cant guarantee it
Yes it is.
Yep the headrest can be pulled off of the top
I'm 6'2" and have the opposite problem lol I have to have a headrest and a high back on my chairs

Thanks for the review. Keep working.
You bet
@@ryansnaadt Is your headrest slightly shaky? I'm not sure if my chair is deffected or that is normal.
@@samermegla9412 Yes mine is a bit shaky, but rarely rest my head directly on it.
how on earth did it take you an hour to assemble the chair????
How do you raise the seat?
Stand up and pull the lever on the right till it raises then sit back down
How big is the seat depth
How does it hold up after a year?
I’m still using it!
Hi. Is the lombar support adjustable ? (vertically how many cm s can it move ? )
Just bought it. I think it is 6-8 cm in 4 steps.
