Thanks to you, I converted my dryer today! It took less time to convert it than it took to hook up that stupid dryer vent!

Omg!! Thank you so much for this video. My husband and I were able to work together to get this done on our new Lg.. this same model.

I just bought the same exact dryer and I’m convert it to LPG. I tried doing this before watching your video. No success. Thank goodness you made a video!

Thank you for posting. I completely misunderstood one of the steps I read in the minimal instructions provided with the dryer. I'm glad I watch this video first. Will attempt the conversion this afternoon.

I'll be attempting this today. Thanks for recording this - I know it would be easier to have both hands free, so I appreciate you taking the time and dealing with the awkwardness to get it on video.

Thanks! Propane installation/conversion appears to be an afterthought in my neck of the woods. I bought an LG dryer with installation from LGPartnerMall and the outfit that delivered with a “certified install tech” termination said they didn’t do propane conversions. Tech said wouldn’t even disconnect the old dryer. Luckily I had already done that or they wouldn’t have hauled the old unit away. SMH

Thanks for this video. I didn't see the hidden screws at first and this washer is different than the other LGs out there. I wasn't able to get my hands in there so I had to remove the lint cover (which is tricky to put back on as there is a screw in back that you have to hold in place as you put the cover back in), but this was very helpful overall.

    Thanks,
I just couldn't take off one of the screws that hold the manifold so i took one more step by removing the vent from the front to get better access with my hand and brake loose that screw
    Thanks again

So... when I was putting in the new orifice the threads broke off inside as I was tightening it. I'm freaking out, any idea how to get that tiny broken off piece out?

How did it turn out?.. Were you able to get out out?

@@westonmickey3890 Yes I was! I just got a reversed threaded bit, jammed it in there as firm as a I could with my hands (because it was too small of a space to get any type of ratcheting tool in there) and twisted and when I pulled it out - there it was. I keep it as a souvenir now because I never thought I'd get it out
