ITS GOOOOOD!!!” Pearl was my all time favorite. I got his autograph when I was 12. My dad bumped into the team at the Syracuse airport. He signed it #31 Pet Dog.. the next day I was at school showing my friend, Jason, the autographs and my teacher, Mrs Bardot, thought I was passing notes and ripped it up. The whole team autographs. Anyway. I sure do appreciate the Pearl comment, bro.

We already beat Syracuse in the regular season and we could beat Villanova if we keep them from getting open threes like we have been doing this tourney so far.
Incredible moment. Been to every football game for 6 seasons now even the game where we beat Clemson and all the big basketball games but have never felt the dome like this. Absolute madness in the dome that night
HotDogTodd I was there up in section 3 and when he shot it since we were basically behind him you could see it was dead on and everyone raised their hands up and when it dropped my ears were ringing. Such an amazing fan base it was louder than an NBA game in there and when we were walking out the whole campus was yelling and walking past the frat houses they were chanting "FUCK DUKE, FUCK DUKE, FUCK DUKE" it's a night I will remember for the rest of my life.

No 2014 SU-Duke was the best. I agree tho this team was far stronger than the one this year and this year has already made sweet 16 and will probably keep going. They just werent consistent and thats what got them.

That shot was pure garbage. First of all because he banked it. You don't bank-shot three pointers. That indicates he simply jacked it up and was lucky it went in. Second of all, that should not have gone in with 3 people on him. If Gillon was that good, Syracuse would be winning the National Championship, and they will be doing nothing of the kind. If Gillon was that good, they would not be 8-7 in the conference. Third of all, that shot was a classic example of a terrible shot that was bailed out by the fact that it went in. Plenty of time was available for Gillon to get a better shot. When Syracuse initially got the ball it was 6.4 seconds left. That is a very long time in this type of game winning shot context. Instead, Gillon got the ball, passed to no one, and jacked it up from well beyond the three point line, when they only needed 2 points at that. Just a garbage shot. Fourth of all, Gillon was a ball hog at the end of that game. If I remember correctly, he took the last 3 shots, including refusing to pass the ball into the interior for a post up play, and from there, subsequently missed a layup(if I remember correctly). He did the same on that shot. That shot would be one that if it missed, I would bench the player for a game. You don't force a shot over three people, when that means someone is wide the hell open. And sure enough, there was a man utterly wide open to Gillon's right. But Gillon had already made up his mind he was going to ball hog his way to glory come hell or high water. A classic example of a person who is successful, despite the fact that they should not be successful. Like Donald Trump. Donald Trump is a liar, he is hell bent on de-legitimizing the media, he is gas-lighting America, he insulted many people and groups like women, and he was accused by over 10 women of sexual assault, yet still becomes President.

Eclectic Media Gillon didn't decide to ball hog. If you watched the post game interviews everyone said that Boehiem wanted us to get rebound. Give it to Gillon to take to the hole. Boehiem knows that Gillon is our most clutch player (he beat the buzzer to tie NC State earlier this year) and he was our best player that night. But when Battle took his time with the pass to Gillon, he only had 5 seconds. He realized he didnt have time to get to the basket and had to force a full sprinting shot with 3 defenders in his face. Wasnt Gillons fault... he bailed out Battles slow pass with a very difficult shot. He was just doing what Boehiem told him to do. which was get the ball, push and take the shot
