Maybe because I like the original too much, but this sounded too nasal and harsh to my ears. Makes me appreciate LaBrie's vocal fit within DT so much more.
People can say whatever they want against Labries high notes and technique, but his "romantic" singing is freaking amazing. He puts emotional on this song... this guy is not feeling it. Besides, no Portnoy and Petrucci... this is one of the best DT songs for the feeling and Rudess is not the guy who brings it for this song.
I like this in the way that I like the singing on toxisity by s.o. d. Serg, but this is Labries song . Ain't nobody touching it but Steve Perry or Dennis Deyoung
