@@rubensmarques8970 totally agree. Des and Ben going to have to communicate better and change their team dynamic. Lee won’t be able to just sit in goal once team orange figures it out. Their synergy was way better
They had it for a second but they reverted after they just swept them, I was in mental agony watching IPPI sit in goal again after they were doing rotations nicely 😭😭😭😭
I believe that as well. If they keep rotating like they did during the first set, they will always have an upper hand on offense. They might be caught a few times since they're playing against the two kages, but they gon have to live with that.
Lee “I missed” Manigo barely touches the ball so how is he supposed to improve and learn how to properly maneuver his car and not get embarrassed all the time 😂
This team of Mark, Dyl, and Ip, is so fun to watch and overall balanced tbh. They all have the things they’re pretty good at, and each of their weaknesses they cover for well. Mark is slowly coming for that crown as one of top 2 players in terms of overall quality, Dyl is slept on as a facilitator and an enforcer with his demos and ramming, and Ip has probably one of the highest ceiling in terms of improving his goalkeeping and potentially aerials in general.
This shit gonna sound like glaze but after this vid mark could lowkey be in the same tier as ben and des he also showed he can be in a leader role for his team if ben isn't with him.
No, it’s not really glaze. He’s right there with them offensively and he arguably has the best dribbling fact, they actually swept them the first set kind of proves he’s up there with them but he remains the number three because of his defense needs some work😅
@@jshinobigamingdojo well I’m more so comparing him to the best defenders his defense is not terrible by any means but I don’t think he’s up there in top-tier defense is what I’m saying
One thing I picked up in this is that while Des and Ben might be the better players, during the games they played together they were pretty inconsistent about either setting up or following up- while 9 times out of ten Mark's squad was reliably keeping pressure, just by being more reliably there. Edit: Okay, I said that after their first set but after that they started selling Mark
Man I was hoping Ben would stick with that team with Ippi and Leland. I feel like given a couple streams he could train them up, all 3 are good goalies and having him train ippi to be like him play style wise would have made a great combo on offense, I saw the vision but clearly they got rolled first try
I agree, ippi under ben could be a manace given time, but ben vision missing one important detail ,jay ,putting him with desmon create massive imbalances of power thats not suitable for training environments, the idea could work if they replace jay with john
It was too much, Mark Des and Dylan is unrelenting offense, good defense, vs a somewhat decent defense and a terrible offense. Lee has a fundamental problem of (no joke) freezing up, he will 100% be the anchor holding Des and Ben by the neck
Mark has seriously leveled up, but bro is a D1 ball chaser. The amount of times he whiffed or got in someones way is crazy because hes constantly on the ball. Position better instead and hed be S tier.
Yeah there’s still a serious gap between Des and Mark. Having him and Ben on the same team is gonna be oppressive. Probably should be Ben Dylan Leland on blue and Des Mark Ippi on orange.
No, Leland is just too sorry at Rocket League. You're telling me he's played it for over a year and Mark and Ipi, who just joined, are performing better than you?
@@ronjohnstrong1479serious gap? Like mark ain’t just sweep him and Ben. The gap is getting smaller each time they play. If Dylan and ippi get even a little better and they keep the teamwork it’s still gonna be compy

So basically what I’m hearing is Mark was helping Ben win a lot more than people want to admit. Ben went from blowing out team orange to getting dominated just from having Mark and Ippi swapped lol
@@tylersprouse6861Yeah mark is cracked, but he was also playing against S1 Team Orange which sucked at actually defending when it counted as Ippi constantly sells. Mark’s actually just very aggro, and his pressure tricks you into giving up field space. He doesn’t really do practical setups or do goalie rotations unless he spawns there, so Ben being so coordinated just made the best usage of his aggressive playstyle. Ben is definitely overrated by this community though, I would say he’s like 3rd or 4th on goal defense and I’d have Mark and Des over him in actual shooting. Ben’s primary strength is his comms, he’s a very rounded player otherwise, I can’t think of anything real special that he has in his toolkit.
I think the close game from the new team orange and team blue is a mirage. Once Des and Ben (who have never played together a single time) get some chemistry as teammates, its over for this seasons team orange.
Disagree, it comes down to Lee. Mark, ippi and Dylan are playing as a unit and covering eachothers weaknesses despite not all being as good as Ben and des. Lee is holding the blue team back, the reason mark ippi and Dyl are doing better than des, ippi and Dyl is because of their rotation. Gives them more cover and it will lead to them all improving faster
@@reggiega7989 Yeah thats exactly what the original guy is trying to say no? Once Des and Ben get more accustomed to each other's playstyle it'd be different for sure
@williamsonlavioser8042 and I'm saying the opposite, I think Ben and des will improve a lot, but mark, ippi and Dylan will also improve a lot and then Lee will be holding des and Ben back because he's not involved in the game as much
That 1:29:18 sequence by des and what Ben was doing to them before that is the difference between their levels fr des was marking all 3 of them by hisself . When Ben and des get aggressive they can’t be stopped by the others Desmond from the wing is dangerous lol
Y’all might not be seeing it, but Dylan was playing like he never has before. He was as crucial as anybody else-especially his wall play. It’s like he’s been doing training packs or something. (And Ippi’s flying was on point when he joined Mark’s team.) Ippi and Dylan are starting to play way faster and smoother overall. Rotations and communication have helped the individuals be their best. The orange trio is gonna be dangerous.
Season 2 is great. Ben sensei made a monster. Dylan was under appreciated. Is Des on fraud watch? Had Mark surpassed both Des and Ben? Will Ippi unlock peak ignorance? Mann I rock with Ben but Mark made a case 😂

dylan, des, and mark vs. ben, ippi, and leland is like jiraiya vs pain. orange team is three out of the six paths and ben is jiraiya and ippi and lee are ma and pa respectively

@@snoopyyy_23nah I feel bad for Leland everybody is going to get good at offense and defense and all he’s going have is just being goalie eventually ippi is gonna be way better than him he already is better than Leland not by a lot tho
This was fire. The Mark, Dyl, Ippi Orange team rotations were so good in that first series😭. They lost it a bit but if Dyl/Mark stay as aggressive as they were in that first series and Ippi plays midfield. They will definitely be superior to the blue team because their rotations give them so many more shots (assuming blue team doesn’t make the same adjustments). Blues biggest strength is they make fewer mistakes but once orange team gets past that and rotates they will be the better team. For blue team they will either have to make the same adjustments to keep up or Leland will have to improve (which he did this session and that is part of the reason they came back) Also for reference, I’m diamond 3 with no mechanics so know I how to play the game to a decently high degree so im not just chatting. Yall are really getting better fast 👌
I don’t think it’s as close as people say it is. I’m telling y’all this once Ben and Des find their groove it’s over they lost 0-3 because they gotta get use to each others playstyle but won the last 6-1 games with orange team putting up Tony snell numbers.
Why are you saying that like they didn’t force an overtime game in one of those losses and nearly forced another overtime in the last game? Also why is it just about Des and Ben’s groove? "Mark is better than Dylan, Ip is better than Leland, and Im barely better than Des" -Ben on stream Now allow me to repost my initial tier list from like 5 Rocket League streams ago that had some of you trippin.... Tier S - Ben, Desmond Tier A - Mark Tier B - Dylan Tier C - Ippy Tier D - Leland ( I can move up to C but he's still behind Ip) And I agree with Mark that he might be up there with Ben and Des but not over them
1. Mark 2. Ben 3. Dyl 4. Des 5. Ippy 6. Lee Dyl is the best playmaker by far. When dyl was on des's team des was the best player. Now that dyl is on mark's team mark is the best player. 1:19:30 No one else is doing what dyl did there
the first matches showed what us ppl that played rocket league were pointing out in every prior video trying to give some advice. Ippi and Leland playing "goalie" every game was stunting their growth as players. they got decent at making simple saves and clears but they never got the chance to develop ball skills. then we have Mark who was a complete ball chaser for weeks. he did nothing but pressure the ball while Ben covered for him on defense. now hitting the ball and controlling it a bit are easy for him in a much shorter time than everyone else. he is as good as Ben and Des already when it comes to anything involving the ball (his rotations are still terrible but now without Ben he will be forced to practice this so that wont take long). He can set up chances to score and score on ppl by keeping the ball in his range very consistently. I know the Ben/Ippi/Leland team didnt work but it was a great chance for Le and Ippi to be forced to learn quickly. Now that Leland is with Ben and Des he needs to be more aggressive and bold so he can get comfortable with the ball even if he "sells" a bit it'll be worth it in the long run. dont just stay in goal every play Le if youre the one up go make a play. its been nice seeing how all the RDC guys have developed. Mark is pushing the meta in their games higher and higher soon Ben, Des and Mark will be flying for every chance ball in the air. once all the players can fly, rotate and have some go to ball skills we will be seeing some real RL matches soon
Lee keeps getting pigeonholed as a goalie. He was one of the main reasons team blue worked last season, but it came at a cost. He never complained though, and I respected him for it because he was being a solid team player. I was hoping he would get more offense time with Ben and Ippi, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. Hopefully, everyone gets a lot better in season 2. 😊
Lee gotta come out to the middle more and Des and Ben need to rotate with him when he goes for a he ball like how Mark and his team r doing cause that’s how ur supposed to play 3v3
Rocket league so crazy. Mark got better when he was the main guy creating offense while des got worse when instead of being the set up guy it was ben and des had to be the jump shooter. Its exactly like basketball
I feel like everybody and Ben got to confident because they undermined what mark was doing for Ben’s in the beginning and found out mark was a big factor offensively and defensively but later in the video it proved that mark is up there and almost on the same level as Ben and DES giving them a run for there money but that team definitely gone force him to step up and have him go beyond them

That Ben & Des wing defense was crazy. They just shut the faucet off in those last few sets.
I'll just say this, the new Orange Team (Mark, Dylan and Ippi) 100% has the potential to be better than the Season 1 Orange Team. They're playing as a team and Mark comms are better than Des'.
Only reason they did better was because they were playing 3 people on offense but blue team mainly only had des and Ben on offense
@@Datisfunny but that's their merit tho. Rarely you would see S1 Orange Team do that, just in desperate situations.
Mans shook all three of them and still scored on Ben after he came back 30:33
Lee “I missed” Manigo barely touches the ball so how is he supposed to improve and learn how to properly maneuver his car and not get embarrassed all the time 😂
This team of Mark, Dyl, and Ip, is so fun to watch and overall balanced tbh.
Mark woke up and decided to have a 2018 lebron run
This shit gonna sound like glaze but after this vid mark could lowkey be in the same tier as ben and des he also showed he can be in a leader role for his team if ben isn't with him.
It might not be great if he consistently does what he did yesterday from now on. He was wilding out.
No, it’s not really glaze. He’s right there with them offensively and he arguably has the best dribbling fact, they actually swept them the first set kind of proves he’s up there with them but he remains the number three because of his defense needs some work😅
@@TRJ42 His defense needs work(even though he did great on defense when he was there), but it's mainly his rotation awareness and mechanics.
@@jshinobigamingdojo well I’m more so comparing him to the best defenders his defense is not terrible by any means but I don’t think he’s up there in top-tier defense is what I’m saying
@@TRJ42 Well, RDC is nowhere near the best in any category in Rocket league. I thought we were just comparing them to each other.
Yeah same lol
They aren’t good goalies tho lol Lee is a terrible goalie he only saves easy goals
Leland probably plays like dylan (trash) but no one would know cause he hasnt been on camera yet, and same for ippi so that was unfair for ben
I'm gonna miss Mark and Ippi's constant trashtalk 😓
That was apart of the entertainment fasho 😂
Hey, now they can use their trash talk to bully opposite team, there is always bright side

Ben literally picked the team himself, he 100% thought he would be good enough to just win regardless and wanted the ego boost
So basically what I’m hearing is Mark was helping Ben win a lot more than people want to admit. Ben went from blowing out team orange to getting dominated just from having Mark and Ippi swapped lol
@@tylersprouse6861no Ippi and Lee just sorry on offense
@@mxfilms9738 So Mark was good on offense then? Because it seems like losing Mark affected Team Blue a lot lmao

Not Tony Snell numbers. In the 2nd set there was no competition, but the last set was close asl, Blue Team won by a difference of 2 goals.
Why are you saying that like they didn’t force an overtime game in one of those losses and nearly forced another overtime in the last game? Also why is it just about Des and Ben’s groove? There's a ball camera joke to be made in here
the first matches showed what us ppl that played rocket league were pointing out in every prior video trying to give some advice.
