Wasn't the whole point of this team change to let Ip and Lee learn offense since they were both goalkeepers...? Ben and Des just stuck Lee back in goal lmfao.
Yeah, they kinda went back to their bad habits of playing 2v2 again on offense. Playing Ippi at mid-field when the ball is on the opponents side is how you get the offense going and easy follow-ups/come-ups. RDC could learn from rotating a little better and that's when their game goes up.
I think that was only for Ippi since he wanted to learn offense Lee never expressed such wants Lee just there and do whatever is asked but he didn’t say he wanted to learn offense which is why Lee is with the two Kages. Ben CARRIED this comeback, Des was playing ass for the first half of the video and when Ben scored that hat-trick Des saw a flicker of hope and locked tf in and started playing like normal and going crazy.
Des had MVP more times than Ben on the second half and the had the same amount of goals so I dont think Ben carried I would say it started with him though
Just a breakdown on why Orange dropped so quickly after that big set: Ippi: - IMO I think Mark and Des has gotten on him too hard on his goal positioning. He should be challenging more, that's why you rotate. Ippi goes out to challenge, Mark or Dyl rotate back to now be the goalie. Ippi is letting the ball get too close to the goal for easy setups and hits because of that. - He did a great job coming out to hit the ball for big setups, he was also pretty clutch defensively when given the chance and locked in. He had 7 saves and a 500+ score one match. - He has to stop talking. That heats up Des and Ben, leading to big blowouts. Work on his offense and following the ball when he hits it out of the goal, and allow rotations. Dyl: - He's in bad positioning during the rapid downfall. He has to communicate more with Mark, especially when he is going after the ball. He can't call it the moment he hits it, Marks already there. It allows him/Mark to center themselves for goals and followups. - Chasing. Dyl is pretty aggressive on offense, but he cannot chase that much after the ball if Mark or Ippi is already going after it. Leads to stacking and missed goal chances off a rebound. - He is pretty hot/cold, he was unstoppable in the 1st set, and then just went down to rock bottom Mark: - Overall, he had to play aggressive during their fall. You could tell that Mark was kinda pressing because Dyl/Ippi were starting to sell on Offense/Defense, but he was pretty good and consistent the entire RL stream.
Orange team dropped because everybody on that team is ignorant 😂 but fr tho Dyl gotta get on that ball cam and Mark has to take a better striker role. There are many times where Mark is setting the ball up for no reason when it should’ve been Dylan and on both sides their communication is lacking. We see a lot that Dylan just takes the ball away from Mark and vice versa they clearly both have a plan but they just don’t share it with each other. This is what made Benadyl so strong in the first time in RL there was always a clear plan set ahead and is also what made Des, Dyl, and Ippi so bad Des never clearly shared what he wanted to do with both of teammates; he was a bad leader for both of them. Mark needs to be more open like Ben in terms of comms for orange team he can’t let the ignorance take over just like it does whenever he’s losing in any game
Mark also ball chases like crazy and will knock his own teammates out the way just to get a chance to hit the ball. His boost control is terrible and leads to him blowing easy hits constantly. His leadership style focuses on berating people for mistakes then staying quiet or deflecting blame when he makes mistakes which is gonna lead to them trying to play it safe and doubting themselves. He tries to Aerial on simple shots which leads to him blowing them, and he generally has poor awareness of where his teammates are and will blame them for the goal being open when it was his turn to rotate back in the first place
@@derpyderp1144that’s the problem skill wise he’s close but not as good as Ben or des and he can’t lead his team well enough to win the sets, he has a lack of communication and isn’t good enough to completely make up for it, he’s not better than Desmond yet he’s making the same mistakes Desmond makes
watching dylan in the background actively pisses me off, you can tell he doesn't have ball cam on when he drives past the ball like he cant see it and the other team is there to hit or, Or when he hits the ball once and drives to hit someone in goal even tho the other team has 3 people so someone is gonna be there to back up and hit the ball away even if he hits lee in goal
Mark got inside his own head when he started giving up in the middle of matches, yes obviously it's very unlikely you guys are gonna comeback, but you know what else is unlikely? Winning 6 straight games while 1 game away from a 2 set blowout. By giving up all you're doing is slowing down your momentum which is the worst thing you can do when you're right at the finish line and the other team is catching up. Keep playing 100% even if there's no chance of winning, because not only IS there a chance, taking a break in the name of "I'm already worrying about next game" does the complete opposite. You're going into the next game at best neutral when the other team is hyped, or at worst already down before the match even begins.
1:04:56 why did Mark tell Ipi to stop coming out? Dylan was the one who was in goal for that, and he came out, bumped Mark, then didn't get back in time to contest the shot.
Des has ptsd of having sorry defenders that even after getting two of the best defenders , he was staying far back when he is the best striker and should utilize his talents there only, as soon as SENSEI BEN CALLED HIS TRAUMA OUT , des went crazy got 4 mvps back to back and won the game
I literately said that exact same thing last video he keeps returning to defend instead of staying aggressive which would suit him better since he’s the best scorer he’s being way too passive
Des is deadass that skit of the villain joining the good side and becoming weak, what happened to the guy who carried orange team. Edit: never mind then okayyyyyyyy dessss
Dylan’s awareness is so bad. This is in part due to him not knowing where the ball is half the time, but the one advantage he SHOULD have with not using ball cam, is seeing your teammates so you don’t run into them, but he still does it more than everyone. He misses shots, demos when he has an open shot, runs into his teammates, and is never there to cash in a goal because he doesn’t even know where the ball is.
When they realize that no one has to have a firm position and just rotate correctly, i would love to see that step sometime in the future where they just play with rotations
I feel like Dylan has regressed. Whenever Mark pushes forward, Dyl's always back on the other side of the court running around looking for boosts, playing Demolition Derby or stacking right up on Mark if he is nearby. And since he's probably not using BallCam, he wouldn't even know if Mark is trying to score or set up a shot. You can see this a lot whenever Mark yells for Dylan when he misses a shot and swings the camera around and Dyl's half a world away. Dyl needs to re-adjust his Rocket League thinking and push forward at another angle whenever Mark pushes forward and either set up Mark or clean up and try to score when Mark misses.
Mark's improving fast, but the problem is he never rotates back. So his team isn't improving on offense with him. Dyl and Ippi switch out rotating on defense, mark is always up. For the team to play the best possible, all 3 players need to be rotating through all positions.
Seasn 2 Rocket League tips (for each player) Mark - You need to stop going silent, you are your teams pillar. If you don't act like It you guys will lose everytime - that also means you cannot be missing the easiest clears ever, that puts a bad taste in your teams mouth when your sorry, your supposed to be the best - Learn how to control the ball and fly to where the ball is going, not to the ball Dylan - Calm down, there were so many times where you could've done something if you weren't so tunnel vison'd or unfocused - You need to communicate, esp with Mark. You are all responsible for saying something, not just Mark - Keep track of the ball, when blue scores it still sounds like a surprise to you. If you don't even know what you did wrong, how will you know what to change bruh Ippi - You need to stop sitting in the back being cocky, your supposed to be telling your team to lock in like you always do. y'all don't actually lock. - I repeat do not sit in the back, in the very first set there was an amazing rotation between you, Dylan and Mark, that's what this game should be feeling like. - Learn the trajectory of the ball, and what your car does, there's more things you can do. You have to control it. Orange Team: You guys have massive potential, the offensive pressure to completely overwhelm blue, while having good defense on top of that, being able to switch that on a whim is what you guys should strive for. Stop regressing. Use your strengths, you guys have way more synergy and better intuition Ben - Fly more often, as I said b4 you need to stop limiting yourself and your teammates - Stop trusting Leland with everything, he isn't responsible for absolutely everything, this is a major flaw that orange exposes and keeps hitting you in the head with, you guys have 0 cohesion as a team and you still stick with this "goalie" playstyle Des - Tell Lee to come up and stay mid with you guys, you know being aggressive dismantles orange sometimes, go all in instead of 75%, you guys are limiting yourselves - Be more defensive, your putting leland in the same position Mark put him in - Fly more often and do more callouts Leland - I'm ngl your dragging your team down bc you wait wayy wayyy too long to do anything, you need to act - I saw that you tried to use your intuition and come up more often, keep doing it, be faster and more aggressive. Follow the ball, make Des and Ben play with YOU as an actual teamte, not a goalie bot. Blue Team: Stop limiting yourself to this dumb team model, and start flying.
Kinda funny how Des’s ability to Adapat over time by learning where his weaknesses are and overcoming them and Ben’s ability to read the field and each players abilities and take control of team chemistry reminds me of some blue lock shit
"Ipi come out" was for when no one was close to the ball "dont come out early" was for when the blue team has a clear set up to shoot, it lessen the chances of him getting crossed. Not really the best way to play but thats clearly what they meant
I don't know how many times I can hear Mark tell the team did somebody has to go mid if he's taking the ball up. Or how many times I can hear him screaming "I'm taking their way, somebody come with me" and then go do a 1v3 at the blue goal by himself and when he turns around his so called 'teammates' are ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE FIELD.
The same things happens even when Dylan sets up the shot himself, like he'll set up Mark, then for whatever reason, It'll be a miss/block and instead of being ready to set up again, he's already downfield even if the ball is still in enemy territory like he didn't even bother staying to see if the shot went in or not.
@erikmorris9348 Because Dylan's first priority is to chase boost and then blow up opponents. The times where he actually plays a setup role or no. 11 are outliers.
Mark was getting heated at everyone else but himself at the end. He crumbled as a leader, though. Stopped communicating and just started criticizing everything.
Na but he had his reasoning. He was trying to be supportive to begin with but when your team are making so many mistakes that are costing games it can get you heated even at your boys loool
He can't properly lead the squad to battle when the squad hasn't graduated bootcamp. He gotta point out the mistakes and reminding them until they were doing it right consistently.
I don’t usually comment but it’s funny how people like you watch a whole 1 hour and 30 mins and still type this. He had good reasons to get heated the whole time but calmed down and told them it was okay but him finally letting it out at the end after all that meant he crumbled. Hilarious
mark bro stop taking your teammates ball because it takes you and him out the play when he coulda got a good 50 or passed it to you for the play but you wanna steal everything for no reason then there’s no pass to make…
It’s cuz des has defense trauma from playing with bad defenders he only plays aggressive when he gets heated he needs to come with that energy from the jump
I know for sure when Ippi starts talking, he giving opps a 55% dmg boost and +100 resilience. I said that before and saying it still. Youre only allowed to talk shit if you have the skills to back it up...
It was only a matter of time before the Kages adjusted and man did they turn tf up. 6 in a row, and that final set was 2way dominance by Benzama and Dessi. Leland was gr8 on defense and even had some goals(still needs to improve on ball touches on offense).
Why did they switch their strategies after 1st set man, they had good rotations with keeping the ball in opponents side and Ip/Dyl staying in the center to rotate back or block/score. But then they switched it up with keeping Ip in the goal randomly for no reason.
Team Orange is Joy Boy in this ho for real lol. Playing so much more free and happy than with their prior teams. Whether they win or lose, they're free
Mark needs to flip the car more, flip into the ball In the direction you want it to go, by watching Ben a little you can see he does this. It will make it easier hitting shots from weird angles.
Every time they play, they somehow simultaneously get closer and farther from learning how to rotate and space correctly 😭

This series turned the moment Ippi started talking shit to Ben 41:43 Mark knew too😭🔥
Bro I said the same thing🤣🤣🤣
When orange loses consecutively, they all just stop talking and everything falls apart
It’s mark quirk once he stops talking shit his team morale drops by 80% and then the losses start. Go back and rewatch the old matches anytime szn1 blue lost is when his quirk deactivated
Ben and Des had some trouble working with each other at first, and the friction was plain to see. Des was used to his mid field playstyle, whereas Ben was used to having a ball-chaser like Mark beside him.
Then after the first set they started to work together and that's when team orange lost any hope to win.
Also Des is the hulk or Kenpachi lol he gets stronger the angrier he is.
Jay's progression is absurd. I love how these teams were just the test drive after Ben initially bit off more than he could chew with the Lee/Ipi pairing, and initially it was written off as "nah that won't be fair at all". But now Jay and Dyl are playing at a much higher level than season 1, and Ipi's contributing to offense more than ever
Ippi actually a Lil versatile now Leland unfortunately is still a hindrance and he refuses to speak up. Lol ben and des deadahh just be fighting eachother for ball control and they on the same team is actually crazy, take them off the same team 😂

Ipi really riled Ben n Des up, from barely communicating and getting swept to

Wasn't the whole point of this team change to let Ip and Lee learn offense since they were both goalkeepers...? Ben and Des just stuck Lee back in goal lmfao.
Then they gonna blame him for not knowing offense lol
he gotta take initiative and t up in comms. if he's happy staying in goal nobody is gonna say nun
Mark dyl and ippi wanted to grow mainly ip and mark so they teamed up. Des and Ben just want to win so they definitely going to stick Lee in the goal.
@@theoneandonlyx9237 Lee said he wants to play more offense.
Downward Spiral of Ipi
41:55 Shit talking Ben (Mark: "Oh thats gonna heat him up")
44:30 Down 3 points and proceed to try taunting Des, but Des having none of it even laugh at him
45:53 Still down 3 points and now taunting Ben, Ben came back with the same energy. Even Mark knew that aint it and told him off (Ben: "Do it then")
59:04 Des starts to prop Lee and Ben for nice save, Ipi just mutter shut the..., Des caught that and taunts him back. (Des: "Nice save Ipi, if thats what you want to hear...")
1:00:41 Ben scores, Ipi gets mad "you weak Ben, you're not good", Mark said stop shit talking
1:01:50 "Lets play our game, lets play aggressive" you know its bad when you have to mimic other team gesture to lift you up
1:25:57 Just got reverse swept, still got some left to say stfu, Ben read chat saying "Ipi should have said nothing", Mark lecture him about it, Ben have the last laugh with "Ipi, do you hear him?" with Ipi stay silent now
Truly cinema ngl
mark blames every goal they concede on ipi, i agree that ipi is horrible but 50% of the goals come from shit awareness from mark and dylan.
@@4ptoepIppi isn't horrible. It's just he taunts the others too much lol. He is pretty solid in goal, and I would say in season 1 he had better saves than Leland. Some people don't realize that though because his teammates are generally quick to blame him, unlike Leland's teammates.

Season 2 is a certified banger
I thought having two all around players (Ben and Des) would ve interesting as they have to restructure their plans to be able to work together cohesively. Give them time to warm up and they're just as dope as they are separated. Another W for us Blue team fans..had us in the the first half tho
Its not a Rocket League video if Mark didn't cough every time he scores

Just a breakdown on why Orange dropped so quickly after that big set:
Ippi:
- IMO I think Mark and Des has gotten on him too hard on his goal positioning.
Dyl:
- He's in bad positioning during the rapid downfall.
- He is pretty hot/cold, he was unstoppable in the 1st set, and then just went down to rock bottom
Mark:
- Overall, he had to play aggressive during their fall.
@@xbilliamsxfacts people putting mark up there with the kages when he’s not one yet he’s too ball dominant they won’t win 2 sets playing this way

43:13 Someone in the chat said Leeland has only 3 voice lines on rocket league 😂
Mark finna get invited to Blue Lock
watching dylan in the background actively pisses me off, you can tell he doesn't have ball cam on when he drives past the ball like he cant see it and the other team is there to hit or, Or when he hits the ball once and drives to hit someone in goal even tho the other team has 3 people so someone is gonna be there to back up and hit the ball away even if he hits lee in goal

Ben is the coach. He told them the adjustments needed to be made. It's just a matter of time until he wins with whoever
When they realize that no one has to have a firm position and just rotate correctly, i would love to see that step sometime in the future where they just play with rotations

Ballcam for Dylan is like the sharingan for kakashi 😂

Lmao Dylan will know where the ball is about 5% of the time 🤣 That’s why he’s always running into cars
Is it just me or is des laughing more with Ben and lee. Unc finally is having fun again
No way they were 1 win away from 2 sets and just sell 6 in a row 😂😂😂
43:30 - Ippi turns on Des
1:25:28 - Des was building that anger up for 6 games 😂
Mark's improving fast, but the problem is he never rotates back. So his team isn't improving on offense with him. Dyl and Ippi switch out rotating on defense, mark is always up. For the team to play the best possible, all 3 players need to be rotating through all positions.
Seasn 2 Rocket League tips (for each player)
Mark
- You need to stop going silent, you are your teams pillar. If you don't act like It you guys will lose everytime
- that also means you cannot be missing the easiest clears ever, that puts a bad taste in your teams mouth when your sorry, your supposed to be the best
- Learn how to control the ball and fly to where the ball is going, not to the ball
Dylan
- Calm down, there were so many times where you could've done something if you weren't so tunnel vison'd or unfocused
- You need to communicate, esp with Mark. You are all responsible for saying something, not just Mark
- Keep track of the ball, when blue scores it still sounds like a surprise to you. If you don't even know what you did wrong, how will you know what to change bruh
Ippi
- You need to stop sitting in the back being cocky, your supposed to be telling your team to lock in like you always do. y'all don't actually lock.
Use your strengths, you guys have way more synergy and better intuition
Ben
- Fly more often, as I said b4 you need to stop limiting yourself and your teammates
- Stop trusting Leland with everything, he isn't responsible for absolutely everything, this is a major flaw that orange exposes and keeps hitting you in the head with, you guys have 0 cohesion as a team and you still stick with this "goalie" playstyle
Des
- Tell Lee to come up and stay mid with you guys, you know being aggressive dismantles orange sometimes, go all in instead of 75%, you guys are limiting yourselves
- Be more defensive, your putting leland in the same position Mark put him in
- Fly more often and do more callouts
Leland
- I'm ngl your dragging your team down bc you wait wayy wayyy too long to do anything, you need to act
- I saw that you tried to use your intuition and come up more often, keep doing it, be faster and more aggressive. Follow the ball, make Des and Ben play with YOU as an actual teamte, not a goalie bot.
Blue Team: Stop limiting yourself to this dumb team model, and start flying.
This is good stuff
18:37 They finally getting solid at rocket league. That was cold 😮💨
at this point my guy Dyl is regressing but that was predictable with his hate of ball cam
I just watched Cleveland come back from a 3-1 deficit 😂
It’s always #TeamBen (Des finally smiling again, he benefiting off of Ben and Lee’s defense )
If they let ippi come up and then rotate behind him they would play better. Sitting in the goal is not it.
Kinda funny how Des’s ability to Adapat over time by learning where his weaknesses are and overcoming them and Ben’s ability to read the field and each players abilities and take control of team chemistry reminds me of some blue lock shit
On me
Mark kept setting the ball up, and Ipi and Dylan were back in home goal. They gotta learn when they should and shouldn't go too far from the ball.
41:43 Ippi's "Im sleepy!"
Dat boy Dylan said “I wasn’t ready” in a clutch moment
Des fueled by pure hatred for that single chatter 😂😂 played his heart out just to prove lil bro wrong
first it was IPPI COME OUT, now its DONT COME OUT TOO EARLY DONT COME OUT TOO EARLY
"Ipi come out" was for when no one was close to the ball
"dont come out early" was for when the blue team has a clear set up to shoot, it lessen the chances of him getting crossed.
Not really the best way to play but thats clearly what they meant
They're not conflicting statements lol. Both can be true.

Despite the loss, good shit orange team!
Why did they switch their strategies after 1st set man, they had good rotations with keeping the ball in opponents side and Ip/Dyl staying in the center to rotate back or block/score. But then they switched it up with keeping Ip in the goal randomly for no reason.
